I'm a Noachide that has schizoaffective disorder. It's basically schizophrenia and bipolar wrapped into one. It really does make me less able to function, but Hashem has been good to me, and I'm doing alright right now, currently on meds I'm perfectly normal.
This was very powerful. Thank you 18Forty for this amazing interview.
chill lipa is the best lipa, hes like a wise guru from skver! 25 years in the making
Wow amazing! Lipa your vulnerability is a inspiration for the world!!
“Make mental health awareness normal”
Really enjoyed this conversation.
This was amazing. I've been following Lipa's journey since my yeshiva days and each time he opens up he is more insightful and on point on even more topics.
Thank you Dovid for letting him speak uninterrupted. This was really valuable. And like Lipa said, in today's day and age videos like this will gain more traction than those in power who try to suppress.
Good job Lipa. We need more genuine talk and authenticity in our world!
My sons yeshivah in Postville Iowa the bachurim there have passes to the local gym. They do basketball, tread mills, body building, the works! And this is a mainstream chanad yeshiva
Im not working for the image company! Healing is out there its real and life tranforming ❤. Thank you Lipa, your such a inspiration!
Amazing! I haven't grown up with your music. But, I am very connected to who you've become. The last part discussing Judaism is fire 🔥
Thank you for sharing.
Let's not waste our time being sad or bored, because it'll lead the yetzer hara into our minds to think about sinning. Let's read books of Mussar and Emunah, both Chessed and Guevurah
Lipa you inspire us all I truly can't understand how anyone could've canceled this good soul for any reason at all. And omg you MUST come out with an image company song it's high time the world hears it!
This was so good.
Bottom line is. The frum world is full of cover up, lot of facade, lot of guilt, arrogance, living with an "image". Underestimating the level of repression and trauma that exists. And to what end? To create an image that we know it all, have it all figured out, that all these issues exist by everyone out there IE the non religious or non jews, but "we" have it all figured out!
I’m so impressed with the whey Lipa is speaking with such honesty
So many of us have those problems, I can relate to what I saw in my son, the same thing that how Lipa went through his childhood and we’re not religious people, but it’s so common among all of us
Wow, this is the first time I see David Bashevkin after listening many years to the podcast and this is not how imagined him 😅
Thank you for sharing brother❤
This is the deepest interview I’ve listened in a very long time.
37:56 This hit so hard
Thank you Lipa ❤
Thank you, I have been waiting for this.
The emes is healing, so pure, so real so uncomplicated so comforting. The image so fake, so much wasted energy so unsettling. What a waste of life. Ty for being so emes
I think this side of Lipa is even more amazing than his musical side ❤
Do people who work for I C …. Image Company end up in ICU !? Intensive Care Unit 😢
Amazing! SO many peals of wisdom!
Why can't the podcast start the same way that the video starts with out such a long introduction certain people don't really need such a long introduction
I appreciate lipa being open and honest it helped me a lot 😂❤
Lipa💥💥!!!
Thanks for this!!
Inspiring. Lips is genius person.
Lipa is the best
The book on mourning...? What's the title?
Thanks
Wow so much insight
The Image Company. wow
Therapists are often incompetent and unreliable. The best therapy is the Mindbloom therapy -cheaper and more effective. You can be your own therapist.
What's mindbloom therapy?
Promoting Ketamine and Trashing licensed therapists is a horrible idea.
@@ArL467😊❤
@@joelkaufman3793 Must be like Mussar, when you correct yourself
Not to mention if it's a Goy and you're addicted to Pgam HaBrit, they even say it's healthy 😑
Thank you, lipa. Kids of survivors and even the generation suffered and still suffer. You broke the cycle... you got hitler back!
Had a frum chassidish therapist, who was cheating with someone I was dating (among many other women he took advantage of). Still traumatized by it until this day.
I am so, so sorry you went thru such a horror story! Can't blame someone who had that experience for being completely turned off by therapists.
I do wanna point out that not all therapists are created equal. There's been an explosion of trained professionals in the Jewish world and in the world in general, which makes it just like anything else in life - there's the complete range from the awful to the awesome. It's important that people go into therapy with a very open mind, ready and willing to face the fact that it might take a few - or more - tries to find the right one. When you actually get to that healing it makes it all worth it. Wishing everyone luck on their journeys
😢 I'm really sad for you. I'm addicted to a kind of Pgam HaBrit, not to say lashon hara about myself but to inspire you, also my goyish therapist (i'm a noahide) said it's ok and even healthy for a woman to "discover herself". BeEzrat HaShem I'll be able to move not to see his face again. My advice is if you'd like to keep talking about it with your parents, don't be afraid, and also learn Mussar from Rabbi Yaron Reuven because it was from 5 years of sadness that led me to this addiction. Sadness leads to many serious problems, you could destroy yourself without noticing it like what happened to me. Treat it now as it only gets worse and the yetzer hara will make you sin chas v'shalom. So, like Rav Shalom Arush says: cry to HaShem for him to give you happiness and Emunah.
very powerful honest open hearted spiritual amazing interview!
kol hakavod!
I think ur healing will b becoming a badchen again...
Wow! unreal! Lipa your amazing!! guiding light!

This is great, so personal on such a broad level. The Jewish community needs this openness.
Any way to contact you?
Why can’t your son be the rebbe? Because the hassidus is an hireachy like any other place. The only difference is the peyos…
Hassidus? Huh...no Rabbunis you meant. Don't confuse the two.
Bottom line what i learned.....Therapy doesn't help.
Go to Therapy and listen to the interview again. Your mind will be changed.
You might be surprised at how beautiful life can be if you'd only be willing to open your mind. The stuff lipa said are GOLD
@bf423 he's self inflicted....he didn't need to mention instagram by levaya....he's out to go against chasidish world....he needs to get over it
@youtubeaddict1 you definitely got a point that we need to stay away from victimhood and play it smart even if we were mistreated. Not gonna argue with that.
Lipa however brings something entirely different to the table. He's talking truths that everyone feels but nobody would dare say. We need such a voice out there, if only for the validation people get from it (I, for one).
People choose to hush and play it smart all the time, and for good reason. Lipa chose to play it sincere and take the blows that come with it. I wish more of us would have the courage to do that. The world may or may not have been a better, less judgemental place for it.
Dont talk about health and how to eat.... let my people eat....
Are you in the food industry?...
My humble opinion
Healed people are not obsessed with healing
The goal of healing is to start living life and forget about the past
