Alex Clare has been an inspiration to me in many days, the music, some of the lyrics. that was a great אתנחתא in this was time.
living L'chaim videos are very inspirational to me too lately (didn't know you before the war).
praying that my family all over the world are about to come back to our roots - from Israel, US, Canada, and UK together with כלל ישראל
Very nice interview. I met Alex in Ottawa in 2013 when I was also trying to become a musician. He was a wonderful person who took time to hear about my journey even though it was right before he was going on stage. Amazing man, all the best!
@Living Lchaim - I think you have a third type of audience: Baalei Tshuva who are not ashamed of their roots, and loved and were moved and influenced by Alex' and Amy's and Adele's music. And who now are excited to see that Alex and some of your other guests share our now-frum life and love to listen how their got there! Sharing this with all my fellow Baal Tshuva friends!
Seriously one of my favorite of your many many interviews (that I also adore). Alex Care's life, emunah, happiness, talent, is such an inspiration!
Wow, Alex, what an amazing story! Thank so much for being so open and sharing your story with us I have such tromendous respect for you. Kol HaKavod! ❤

What a beautiful journey and amazing musician and a great SOUL!
S o u l ! What an episode. What got me how he quotes chassidus without preaching. I have listened to some of his music.. there is a lot of yiddishkeit in there!
SOUL. Such a beautiful episode! Thank you =) Shout out to all the Alexanders out there! xD
Inspiring in so many ways ! Ty
I was inspired to the core when I first heard Alex’s story years ago and am even more inspired by this interview. His brief reference to the Nova massacre which happened on SImchas Torah brought me to tears. Alex, continued success in all your endeavors.
Great episode
Thanks 🙏
SOUL! Amazing episode!

This was a great conversation!
Wow, great interview brother Yaakov!!!
And that song had some serious SOUL ;)
Can’t wait to hear the finished product R’ Alex 🥳
Who wants Alex to write a song called little anxiety of mine
This is what I got (source to be private for now)
(Verse 1)
In the silence of the night
There's a feeling I can't fight
It wraps around me like a vine
This little anxiety of mine
(Chorus)
But I'll hold on, hold tight
Take a breath, I'll be alright
I won't let this feeling define
This little anxiety of mine
(Verse 2)
It creeps in when I'm alone
Whispers things that I've outgrown
But I'll find the strength inside
To push back and take back what's mine
(Chorus)
I'll hold on, hold tight
Take a breath, I'll be alright
I won't let this feeling define
This little anxiety of mine
(Bridge)
I'll face it head on, I'll take control
I won't let it swallow me whole
I'll rise above and leave it behind
This little anxiety of mine
(Chorus)
I'll hold on, hold tight
Take a breath, I'll be alright
I won't let this feeling define
This little anxiety of mine
(Outro)
This little anxiety, I'll leave it behind
I'll find peace, I'll ease my mind
This little anxiety of mine.
Super unrelated - I love your glasses (worn in the intro here). Would love to know where you got them (?). And on a more serious note, I am probably your number one fan from Southern MD.
So good.........I want to push the like botton so many times
I was so inspired by what Alex said, that I was disappointed with Yair because he never came back from Miami Beach 😢
Wow I really connect to what Alex said about the change of place and change of the name. I left Poland and I changed from being called by my Polish name to being called by my Hebrew name, and I've been living a very blessed life since then.
This was a great interview! And thank you R'Alex for sharing your superb talent with us. You are definitely on par with Amy Winehouse obm.

It’s amazing to hear how much you gave up for Yiddishkeit, it’s a real lesson as fame can look so attractive.

Such a great episode!! Alex is such an inspiration. It takes so much strength to decline such big offers - he really could have been a major star for years to come. And I have to say, his songs are amazing. Real talent. I am in awe of his strength and dedication to be a Torah Jew. #soul

Yaakov, I generally listen to your content through the Inspiration for the Nation podcast but when you mentioned at the end of this interview that you had been receiving a lot of Jew hating comments I felt that I had to post a comment to let you know that the Inspiration for the Nation podcast has changed my life immeasurably, provided me with tremendous chizuck, strengthened my emunah, and my connection with my fellow Jews. You're doing fantastic work and Hashem should bentch you to keep going and contributing to the world in the beautiful way that you do. Am Yisrael Chai!! Rivka Segal PS: Alex Clare is pretty awesome too!!
Love your music! If you be so kind, could you please make song about the happy days for the Jewish people, which Torah says: the future days, when Moshiach ben David comes. Because every Jewish man and every Jewish woman wants peace in the world, so that it will be no hatred and oppression of the people of Israel. And G-D promised to all Israel that He will make such reality, may it will be speedily in our days! Thank you very much for uplifting the spirit of the people of Israel!
Soul! Love alex. Didn’t realized he’s legit religious - wow! So incredible! So hartzig and inspiring!
❤
Shalom Alex, from one of your neighbours here in Mizcarit Moshe. Want to share with you what happened here on 7th October. In the afternoon, I heard loud singing outside our home, just outside Shirizly street by Agrippas and went out to see, The young men from Bet Shmuel on Shimron street, were out with a couple of Torahs, dancing and singing.. Took photos of them, this was a once in a lifetime situation which had to be recorded. There are no adequate words to describe the dancing men and the fact we all knew what had happened, the terrible attack. I was so proud of them not fearing anything and going into the street to celebrate Torah.
Soul.
Fav moment: when he called you out for not knowing his songs 😂
#soul. Thanks for another great podcast. Alex is great and always so inspiring. Keep the inspiration coming. עם ישראל חי
Soul searching.
Interesting.
Absolutely inspirational, real soul!
Enjoyed the dvar Torah.
❤❤❤❤ Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello
Soul❤️🇮🇱🇧🇷
I've been SOULed by Alex. My question is: does he now sing Jewish religious songs?
We Catholics love the Jews! Having gone to Catholic school myself I found his comments about Catholicism confusing, and assume the program at his school must have not been on point. Catholicism has a strong intellectual tradition, marked by theologians and philosophers like St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, and others. This tradition has significantly contributed to the development of Western thought and theology. ☮️
And the Catholic Church is known for its extensive charitable works, including hospitals, SCHOOLS, and relief organizations. There is a commitment to serving the needy and alleviating suffering not found as much as in other religions. I hope the guest appreciates his Catholic schooling.
