Some insane tempo off those Spitelash Siren turns, but everyone knows the optimal tempo play is to subscribe to Chump for daily, original HS content AND ring the bell so you get notified when he uploads around 2 to 5 in the morning

I heard that as "Frostfin Chonker." NGL... that'd be a great card. A super chonk murloc of some sort, probably with rush, that reads, "OH LAWD, HE COMIN'!"
I’ve been playing this deck pre patch a lot with great results. I feel like the buff was unwarranted , Naga mage was already the best thing they could do imo
I was really dissapointed with a lot of the buff targets. Imagine thinking the key to making Jazz Bass playable was ONE ATTACK.
Naga wasn't the best thing mage could do but ye the buff still makes no sense. Because if u don't draw the card it makes no difference and your deck does nothing
@@frankomancer it allows you to break off opponent tempo and pressure, which allows you to properly use deathrattle effect of the weapon. it is definitely good buff for it
I mean, idk if people just can't pilot the deck properly, but the data was awful for all naga mage decks
None will believe it's ever been efficient. However naga mage was kinda strong when the card was 4 manas so maybe...

Volume up has felt really bad to me so far. I’ve had better results running more naga and discover. I also don’t run rommath
rommath is a key win card against turtle decks, also yes volume up is garbage in naga
has anyone tried running the 2 mana arcane spells cost 1 less minion? id imagine it could be really strong with arcane bolts + rewind and lightshow are arcane spells too
Just learn the names of the cards.
You don’t want to have non-naga minions in this deck. The card you’re talking about is fine in other versions of lightshow mage decks.
you most likely kill yourself with the rng target arcane bolts btw, faced a variation that did this, they nuked themself from 23 hp
You'd never know how strong this is because of how everyone plays volatile skeletons

It’s a pretty hard deck. Before the patch I played a lot with it. Took a while but eventually I got the hang of it and had a positive winrate all the way to diamond 5
naga mage has high skill ceiling, Im also struggling with it.
What you are struggling with when playing it? I maybe could give you some tips.

Any time i rope, my turn ends before the predicted, always have mana flooded.
Chump does everything in The last seconds.
sounds hard.. I think you need to learn to calculate and think faster, which means knowing important cards, outs and interactions. and about the rope, I don't know, but it sounds like you get scared. try looking if you're playing on high frame rate
Sometimes i think that my PC is not fast enough
@@rafamluz could be.. maybe make an own profile with only the game in it, running background services could be a reason. the game got kinda big with all the animations etc. I think you could also turn them off (I dunno if only screenshake is adjustable) just rurn everything you can find off..

In another deck that'd probably be fine, but in Naga Mage you don't really want to trade out a 2-mana spell (that repeats) for a non-Naga minion

Opponent should have played pure paladin and he could have won the game by turn 6.

Slept on lightshow during reveals. Gets out of hand very quick
I mean, before the buffs, lightshows decks were all terrible. Like 30% winrate bad.
This deck in legends is bad because most decks have dirty rat, theotar. some car removal or so much board pressure you end up dying or using all your discover spell cards for allibi.

Why? A card growing in power after being played is a fun idea and I don’t see why we should draw the line there.
@@SomersBugtopia had fun playing ignite mage with warden face. more predictable since ofc u can choose a target and ignite gets pretty massive with spd but u cant rewind it or use sivara/audio splitter for copies since they will reset back to 2 dmg and you likely won't draw big ignite if there will be a lot of smaller ignites in deck. same thing as a card which grows after being played but I still have a feeling that lightshow mage is stil underperforming even post patch. volume up is just feels bad with nagas and its a reasonable play 1/10 times
This deck is so unplayable. no amount of mana reduction on spitelash would make it good because if you don't draw it you just concede. Would be great if blizzard stopped buffing broken cards and made the other shit cards do things
