That's one Kookoos nest I wouldn't fly over. The water there is just incredible. Looking forward to my trip to the Philippines next month

What a fabulous experience to stay at the kookoosnest just to get back in touch or to appreciate nature as is in the Philippines. I would simply get to know myself for who I am - not who I was or who I want to be when I grow up but right then and there. I've reached the point in my life where the experience would invigorate me and have me realize life can be good. Maybe a spiritual time - maybe not. I need to do this for me...
To envelope myself in that beautiful setting would be heaven on earth. Initially I feel it would be best to be by myself. I wonder what it would be to share the experience with you Pea. Not to be creepy but to actually orchestrate a beautiful experience that would never be forgotten.

It is a Big Filipino romantic resort as my Girlfriends brother loves to take his wife there minus the kids as Filipinos in the Dumaguete area Love this quiet place. And allot of expats like it too although it's not like most resorts as it is all open so you must like hearing the crashing waves, the fishing boats departing early in the morning and rising with sunrise and seeing a spectacular sunset. Such a great idea and they have had such a great time doing it from the sounds of it.

My first time there was in the mid 90s. My friend, Ian, owner of the nearby Antulang Beach Resort and a Spaniard named Enrique, who lives in a small boat in Tambobo Bay brought me there. Nikki’s kinilaw is the best. Beer is always ice cold. Good to see them still young and healthy.

They lease the land. They say it around 3:41
As they said in the video, they leased the land, they don’t own it 😊
They were vague on the details, but disclosed that they do not own the land and suggested that they have something along the lines of a multiple decade lease with a multiple decade option (to renew). They returned to the lease vs buying discussion again later in the video, as a lovely and humble example of starting small and simply. Overall an interesting video about a beautiful place run by a seemingly lovely couple. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️would recommend you watch it sometime
They lease the land for like 50 years which is cheaper then buying it

I'm a master cabinet maker in the US. I apprenticed with Larry Crosson in SE PA. I can make furniture without nails or screws. I'm familiar with techniques of doing the same with houses. There is a booming business building timber frame homes here. They don't use nails either.
