This coda stunned me and made me realize the potential of the instrument. It turned me into a piano learner when I was a mere lesson taker. 20 years later, including some blank, being halfway over with the ballad #1, I’m thinking about taking on this special piece for me.
I’ve played ballade 3, working on a ballade 1, and I played this scherzo probably 50 % of this tempo. It’s not as hard as it sounds (at 50% of course lol)
@@Im-Muichiro-Tokito I’m well aware, I love this piece, it’s one of my favorites, I was just making a lighthearted joke because of Liszt’s reputation for being incredibly skilled and over-the-top with the piano.
@@Veeti1245 it did sound good to my ears. But there is a reason we have genres and even different eras of classical music. Humans have different tastes at different times.
@@Veeti1245 Everyone has different tastes in music. Chopin didn't intend for this coda to be stunningly beautiful like in his Barcarolle. Otherwise, this piece would only be the middle section. Not really sure tbh lol. the fact that chopin had to play and write this is insane
or why do you think he is famous
He didnt “have” to, he wanted to
Yes, chopin HAD TO play it, because his parents forced him to play pieces by the famous composer Chopin.
Craziest part to me is i would not be surprised if most of this was improvised
Actually composers can compose without playing it for example when beethoven went deaf he actually composed the 9th symphony without even hearing
Scherzo in C Sharp Minor Op. 39 Chopin
