I've been out with thermal devices in all types of weather to demonstrate the differences experienced in wet and humid conditions. You can see the subtlety of it in this video (comparting the Helion with the new Pulsar Telos, where NETD is probably the main technical point of difference.):

Personally, after brand, pixel count would be the next most important factor for me (best image quality for the most likely conditions I'm out in, and reduced loss of clarity when zooming)
