What a lovely documentary of their lives. These intentional trans communities are found all over the world, people grouping together for companionship and survival from a hostile society. Here's to hoping the lives of trans people improve everywhere with a greater social understanding and acceptance of their lives and that trans people can form these communities just because they want to, not because they have to for their own survival. Know hope.
i love this so much. i love their work. i love their relationship with each other. they are beautiful. being trans myself, i find the pursuit of happiness to be the ultimate goal. for me, that incorporates passing- but there are so many other aspects to that. even though im ftm, i want to be comfortable expressing my femininity. im happy theyve found ways for their self expression to thrive, and i hope someday the world allows itself to see these amazing people without hate

Wish these young women had more love support and acceptance in their lives from their biological families, it’s so sad how many get pregnant but when their children aren’t who they want them to be they leave them like trash, as a mother I will never ever understand this. I love these babies and I am so grateful for their house mama!
the lengths i had to go to find any of these people and their art (the song at the end for example) is ridiculous. the @'s should be featured everytime you show a new person. this is just complicating it, taking away from the actual people with talent and stories and just profiting. it limits the number of people engaging and can drastically cut donations (where that is fit). so like? get better, because the point should only be to uplift and boost the people's stories being shared, and possibly increase contributions for a cause. it's not about "brut" lmao
