Fiato sospeso e brividi assicurati. .

Done a similar thing with bigger following sea, about the same width under the water before keel impact, but a couple of feet of water on top of the rock on each side so you can't even see properly where it is, full throttle and working the wheel like a drift kiddie, and unlike that one, right angle 90 left after the entrance, off the throttle at JUST the right moment and full lock, then straighten and relax :-D fun, but nerves of steel definitely required :-D

For a number of years, I wintered in a port with a narrow entrance channel like this, though I never had to cope with quite the swells and current as this one. On a sailboat, one has to come in at full power at max speed or you're done. 1:52 Looks a bit like PIO's (pilot induced oscillations). A tiller is so much easier in this situation (which I had on my 30-footer).

If you close this part to "widen it" for even a day, hell would break loose and knowing how our state takes their sweet time for even most urgent fixes, it'd mean cutting all transportation of people and food for at least six months.
Thank you, your comment was a brilliant idea.
