This is an excellent medley of songs Dio did with Rainbow, prior to his time in Black Sabbath and his solo career: A Light in the Black, Tarot Woman, Stargazer and Kill the King
My whole career of being a lover of hard rock has Dio woven through its whole fabric. The very first band on the bill of my very first concert was Elf with Ronnie at the helm, shortly before Blackmore turned them into Rainbow. When I was working all over southeast Asia in the mid 80's Holy Diver was one of the few cassettes that was always with me and my 1st generation Sony Walkman. I still have vivid memories of parasailing in Thailand listening to Rainbow In The Dark on the old Walkman hammered on gooey thaistick. And then much later, I got to see him one last time shortly before the end when Heaven and Hell played Merriweather Post Pavillion with Machinehead and Megadeth. If I'm being truthful, I really went to see Megadeth but Ronnie still sounded great. Metallica did a nice tribute here. Even Lars. RIP Ronnie.
A one dimensional band with a one dimensional vocalist, totally bereft of ideas, doing yet more covers. Just copy the song of someone else, with a heavy riff and boring vocals and kerching!!! No integrity or class whatsoever. As for Dio, he just makes every band he's ever been with sound exactly the same.

You’ve been to some shows Chaz!
Cool tribute cover.
Check out the original version of Stargazer.
Epic Ritchie Blackmore guitar and the most sublime vocals from Dio.\m/\m/
James sings his own harmonies when recording ;)
Sounds so beautiful!
Best Dio style singer Melody Cristea of Liliac. Speaking of Heaven and Hell, they just covered that song.
These were Rainbow songs. Nothing by Sabbath. Probably all from the album Rainbow Rising hence the name.
Oh wow, thanks for the info; we thought it was solo work.
Would you guys react to some W.A.S.P? a certain song in particular?
Maybe as a bonus pick in the new year. Which song?
Jars is weak....count on Hatfield's.........and kirks his .. shizzit

Did you just call Metallica one dimensional? The delusion.
And slamming them for doing a tribute to a personal friend? The heck is wrong with you?
@@ianwakers They've done so many tributes lol...can't write for themselves!!
Just a covers band now 🤣🤣🤣
@@paulfenwick8767They've released 4 albums of original music since they last did a covers record..
@@ianwakers Yes, but who would know! lol
@@paulfenwick8767Everyone apart from you, apparently.
