I just had my second baby 6 months ago and let me tell you since then I barely have a spare minute for myself! It's a constant struggle to just think about self care but I know how important it is. You can't give with an empty glass. Some moms make it look so easy taking time for them selves, I just wish I could do more! I have no family around and I'm the primary caretaker because my husband works 6 days a week 9 hours a day to provide. So no breaks for us in between!
Just wanted you to know that you’re not alone! My husband went back to work when our babe was only 9 days old, now that tiny babe is nearly 9 months old and my husband still works 6 days a week and is gone for about 10 hours a day. Around the 6 month pp mark, I finally started adding in a workout, and slowly I’ve built in time for myself. I hope you can do the same 💜💜💜☺️ we are strong mamas!
I am currently 39 weeks pregnant. and your video gives me so much hope and motivation to keep remaining my good habits and taking care of myself. Thankyou!
I do the same thing with my goals for the day! Especially being a stay at home mom it keeps my house clean and organized and I feel so accomplished after
Ive been watching you for over three years now I think and I honestly learn something new almost every vid! Love you!! I think reading when you usually are on your phone is such a good tip. Like going to the bathroom! Why not have a book in there rather than scrolling all the time! I know that's a known one but having the reminder is sooo good. My healthy habit is journaling every morning and at night. I get my thoughts out before starting the day and do a journal prompt and doing it before bed is life changing for me with my anxiety.
My 6 year old learned to make your "cottage eggs" on her own now - she used to sit on the island or stand n the "learning tower" when she was smaller but now she is big enough to stand next to the stove (induction and I'm right next to her keeping an eye on her of course) She is also making pancakes on her own. It's so lovely when they see you cook and "help" from an early age they grow up loving to cook as well. She is now teaching the 3 year old.🤓
Eat at the same time each day. And my body tells me automaticly when it is time for food. Try to go to bed earlier, much more during the winter. Sage is wonderful.
I saw you highly recommended the accupressure mat, so I got one. I'm 18 weeks, and this mat is the only thing that helps with headache relief. And back pain. Absolutely love it!
Just want to thank you for posting these videos I had my first baby in October and being home and breastfeeding I found I was eating everything all the time, and looking for convenient snacks which don't tend to be healthy ones. So I decided I needed to fined some healthy alternatives which you've given me! Also reminded me of how yummy smoothies can be and some new ideas of what to put in them! Will definitely be ordering your cook book! Thanks again! 😊❤
with oral care, i keep forgetting to put on my retainers. I got braces yeaaaars ago but have not been great at remembering to put the retainers on before going to bed
I know it's part of your description of your channel, but I believe these types of videos are so helpful for many people and they really do appreciate this! It's amazing for you to share your tips and advice that works for you with other people because it may be useful and beneficial for others too. Does the diffuser, you use, help with environmental allergies, like dust? Also, could you do a video on "Baby names you loved, but didn't use to name Sage?" I feel it would be a nice and interesting video.
It's also good to brush before you eat anything because the plaque that accumulates on your teeth overnight can get absorbed into your blood stream if swallowed and can contribute to heart disease. As well as the bacteria on your tongue that gives you morning breath can disrupt your gut microbiome.
Love your videos. Because of the pandemic I make sure I get out--even for a short walk. It makes me feel much better mentally and physically. P.S. Sage is an absolute angel. So grateful for your videos. Thank you.
I make sure I don't answer messages or deal with the stressful side of my social media til after 11:30 at the earliest. And then I block them the rest of the day at 3pm, 7pm, and a quick sweep around 9, I start my mornings taking care of me and doing what makes me happy
Love all of your healthy habits will be including most of them with mine, I already do some of these😀 Sage is Beautiful, your family is so precious, Bless you all🙏❤️💒💞🦋
Oohhh love these types of videos!! Just one question... you only take a smoothie for breakfast?? I get hungry if i dont eat something else 🤷🏻♀️🥺 just to know 🤔 oohh by the way Sage is sooo adorable!! ❤️❤️❤️
I am currently 3 and half weeks postpartum, and I can’t wait to get the green light to start my workouts again!😂 but I must wait must let my body recover, but it’s so hard 😂 Great video, thank you!
Great tips! Just curious of the Lululemon leggings you were wearing, which ones are those? I love the color. I'm sure they don't have that color anymore, but curious which leggings they are.
Hi from a dental assistant!! If you have sensitive teeth I highly suggest NOT using any charcoal toothpaste as it is very abrasive, which in turn causes more sensitivity :) tip of the day!
Hi Nicole! Love this video 🙂👌 Just was wondering. I haven't seen you use an electric toothbrush in sometime. Is there a reason why you switched? Are there benefits to only manual brushing? (anyone can answer) Thanks!
Most of these influencers work from home... I work 40+ hours a week in retail so my schedule is all over the place. It’s hard to have these routines I see all of these RUclipsrs rave about.
Nikole I really adore and admire you and your channel, but please do not advice people to use toothpaste without fluoride in it unless you have evidence that shows that it has the same effect as traditional toothpaste including fluoride.. I'm a dentist student myself, and the chances of getting cavities are proven to be much higher if you use a toothpaste without Flouride in it. The fluoride ions stabilize the ions (like calcium and phosphate) that our teeth are primarily made out of (Hydroxi appatit crystals). The fluoride stabilizes the pH-levels, which is necessary when we eat and drink acidic and food and drinks :) There are still many options for more natural toothpastes, that still has fluoride in it
Good tips 😛🥳but my head didn’t like all the extra stuff. 😣Too long of a video for me. It’s my preference🤷🏻♀️. I do really like the tips though. 💁🏻♀️☑️🎧
I'm a little concerned about the hype of "clean beauty," and especially preservative-free hygiene items. Preservative-free items are marketed as "safer," "cleaner," "natural" etc, but they actually are the opposite. Preservatives like parabens are used to keep our products safe by preventing the development of harmful bacteria. Think about how much bacteria gets in your toothpaste every time you open it and expose it to air, or place it on your bacteria-filled toothbrush when squeezing on toothpaste. Parabens are proven to be extremely safe for humans - there are many doctors and science-based videos proving this on RUclips, and many articles written on this subject as well.
I enjoyed the work a lot! I have been trying to find for a RUclips vid like yours that teaches the topics in this RUclips vid. 👌Your video is like the vids of Dr. Ethan. My Gran is 100yrs young this year and she always says have a plan, if you have a plan your day will flow without worry. 🙂

I found a lot of information about that you should not use the acupressure mat during pregnancy, because it can cause labour pains
I make sure I don't answer messages or deal with the stressful side of my social media til after 11:30 at the earliest. And then I block them the rest of the day at 3pm, 7pm, and a quick sweep around 9, I start my mornings taking care of me and doing what makes me happy

Hi from a dental assistant!! If you have sensitive teeth I highly suggest NOT using any charcoal toothpaste as it is very abrasive, which in turn causes more sensitivity :) tip of the day!

Hi I would like to know how do you manage expressing and breastfeeding?
Love reading and breastfeeding at a same time😆Your baby doing great job in front of the camera💕
Look into flouride free toothpastes. There's plenty of reason why you probably don't want flouride in your toothpaste too.
The charcoal one is fluoride free! That’s the one I use and love
Most of these influencers work from home... I work 40+ hours a week in retail so my schedule is all over the place. It’s hard to have these routines I see all of these RUclipsrs rave about.
Awwww I miss those grabby baby hands and little coos as they breastfeed 😭😭🥰🥰

Hi great video but the only thing is your mouth does not blend with the words it's slower like it's buffering or something it doesn't match up
I love you

charcoal is so bad for ur teeth i will never trust a company that does that
