      @@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO Totally agree. 🍻 You did that 1,2,3.. You might have to help me to do mine. 😆Forgot to tell you about my rig when you ask before. It’s a 08 Xterra with a 2.5 inch rear shackle and front springs (All Dogs Off-road) lift. Bilstein 5100 shocks, and just 2 inch wheel spacers on stock 16 wheels with BFG tires. For now.. ✌🏻

    Just did the same 2" kit on my Frontier. I loosened the steering like you did, but now it steers funny. Do I need a steering extender? Did your friend complain about the same thing?

    • @DIY_AUTO_PHOTO
      @DIY_AUTO_PHOTO  2 месяца назад

      hey congrats on the body lift ! as for the extender no not really needed for 2 inch body lift its only needed if you do higher body lift . and yes he told me that it felt funny.. so what he did.. he loosen that bolt up again and then one more under the dash.. and moved steering wheel few times full turn right to left and then tighten everything up and it fixed it.
      Let me know if that helps you

      Yes. After doing research, I did this same thing and it worked. I'm a little concerned though because there is now not much connection where it connected under the dash. Hopefully it won't slip off while I'm driving. Lol. It also slipped off while it was loose and I was turning the wheel which cause my steering wheel to spin and I broke my clock spring. Lol. Oh well. Ordered new one on ebay. Thank you

      @@derekhorvath874 oh thats unfortunate... sorry to hear that... was it because loosen too much or something ?

    • @derekhorvath874
      @derekhorvath874 Месяц назад +1

      Yes. I loosened both sides too much and then turned steering wheel back and forth too many times and it just fell off

    Did you have to trim the black piece on the lower bumper? Like cut some of it off to get everything to fit or does it all go back together and just stretch around the crash bar like they say. DId it all bolt right back up like its supposed to. Any modifications needed. Thanks

      Hello sir ! No we did not had to do anything to it.. that was left untouched . Now we do have to work more in the future to relocate rear bumper as now its separated from the bed and there is 2 inch gap lol
