I like the new touches but I don't see the reason to run out and upgrade from my RX-3 just yet. For someone who is looking to upgrade from a bow a few years back this would be a good choice. Although now the RX-3s will probably be cheaper now that these are out. I am however looking to buy the new Hoyt Invicta target bow. I have my RX-3 for hunting. I want a target setup now and that Invicta seems to be the bow to get.
Rusty Shackleford yeah i hear ya. I spent $2400 on my RX3 build. I’m gonna run it more than 5 years hopefully. My buddy still hunts with his Hyperforce. That’s still a great bow.
Bought a new Hoyt. Would make a loud snapping noise at almost full draw. Randomly. Had four tecs at bow shop look at this bow they took it apart said different things each time and was fixed. Was not. Finally took it back and exchanged for a bow Tec. Beautiful. Returned to comment on great bow Tec. They had called Hoyt. They said there were two washers on limbs missing and they didn’t know how many were shipped out that way. WOW. Just a small heads up.

As a LIFELONG Hoyt shooter. I was really disappointed in the release other than the alpha being 29.5 ata. My wife has been shooting the RX3 turbo and myself thr RX3 ultra. And the alpha will be just the perfect size bow for her and with staying with the Carbon series which is what we shoot.
Colt Medinger all Manufacturers use technology from other bow company’s. If they didn’t bows would be so much different that people wouldn’t be happy with anything they put out. However I’m a lifelong Hoyt shooter. And not biased to brand. I will say Matthews are so loud they sound like a dry fire when they’re shot vs a Hoyt which isn’t even close. Everyone kept bitching last year as Hoyt released the RX3 (WHY DONT YOU BUILD A SMALLER ATA) (WHY DONT YOU INTEGRATE THE QAD) so they do that and people still bitch. I do feel that the RX3 and RX4 differences are so minute that they could have just stuck with the RX3 for 2020 and released the upgraded aluminum risers. I did a comparison video of the RX3 and RX4 ultras today ( coming this weekend sometime on my channel) and my RX3 actually Outperformed the RX4 not to mention. Side by side you can’t even tell which one is which other than the decals.

Antler Assassins TV- Bowhunting Television good points- I just don’t like that the year following the Triax, Hoyt now has a “new” front bottom end dampener. Or the QAD dove tail mount, the small axel to axel, ect. I will give them full credit on the carbon riser, but I feel like that was their last true innovation. Since then, I feel like they have been chasing Mathew’s tails.
@@AntlerAssassinTakovich dude. Pretty damn sure u have ur assessment of the two backwards. The Hoyt sounds like a fucking rifle being shot. The Mathews u can't even hear fire u just hear the arrows hitting money shots all day long bud. Good luck with ur rifle!
To all the Matthews guys crying about the rest integration, if it's not patented it's fair game. How do you know that QAD didn't create the idea and sell it to the manufacturers?
How's the hand shock? That's the reason I'm thinking vertix over the new carbon Hoyt's i found the Hoyt had alot of kick in your hand with the bottom of the bow almost jumping the vertix was dead.
Because of the weight differences the carbon riser will have more shock.but if you're gonna run up and down mountains, you'll want that lightweight bow.the other alternative, the farmers carry with kettlebells.
Sadly, I feel hoyt is the apple of the archery industry. Nothing really different than last year. Just great marketing with the new tweek. And continually taking ideas from other companies and acting like it there brand new never before seen tech. *cough cough* mathews *cough cough*. That being said I love Hoyt. love my hyperforce. But, yea.
Agreed around the board, I have a hyperforce as well but overall I think Mathews has better engineering and are more innovative, I just got the hyperforce for super cheap and I love it
JcDorinski I’ve been waiting eight years for them to come out with a substantially faster bow still shooting Mathews Z7 magnum IBU of 340 with more brace height than these new bows, Plus I have shot the new bows and accuracy seems the same.
When does Hoyt plan on using new tech?? I'm gonna stick with my Mathews ! They keep getting better and better even when u think it can't happen lol. Good luck Hoyt!!
Austin Songer I keep waiting for Mathews to come out with something new it’s always the same thing only different😂I’m still shooting my eight-year-old Z7 magnum IBO of 340 and 6 3/8 brace height. I had a good laugh when they came out with the slow no cam design. NO Mathews is marketing even more than Hoyt. I would definitely buy a Hoyt over Mathews at this point but both haven’t changed enough to warrant buying a new bow at this point.

Dre Sted ugly and the advertising is obnoxious. Just giving every RUclips celeb a free bow doesn’t sell me on your product. If anything it makes me leery of what u r trying to achieve with all of the smoke and mirrors
The Brotherhood of Freedom I wouldn’t agree that Mathews is the best but it comes down to preference. I do agree that hoyts draw cycle is the crappiest by far of the big 4 manufacturers. I also agree that the Hoyt fanboys will die on their hill. Hoyt can do no wrong for them. We will soon be hearing why 29” is the perfect axle to axle.
I own 2 Mathews right now. Maybe another in my future but I don’t think they’re really ahead of Hoyt by much. So far I feel the innovation award is going to belong to Elite. If they come out with a 35” version of that s.e.t. tech I’m going with them. I used to really anticipate the Hoyt release and even collected their catalogs for years. Hope they get back to being a leader soon.
They both look great! Been shooting my 2019 Helix but was about to ourchAse the RX3. Think I’ll do the RX4. See you at Lancaster in March!
