Almost died 20yrs ago on My Z570 the night I studded the track, was ripping down a familiar trail, was going way faster than usual because of the studs, hit a 3 level barbed wire fence at close to 40mph, lower line caught the skis, mid line went over the windshield and caught the handlebars, top line scraped across the top of my helmet as I laid back on the seat... I seriously thought I was gonna die. The line that hooked on the handlebars tore the wires to the lights, heated grips, and thumb warmer. I pulled the fence like 30' past the stakes that held it up. Took me 20 minutes to get my sled untangled from the wire.. I was drinking while installing the studs and decided to go for a rip on a trail I knew very well, less than 3 miles from my home.. Don't Drink And Ride, I Got So Lucky!!!
Wow that’s crazy, definitely a lot worse than what has happened to me. I’ve had a few close calls my self but nothing like that. Glad you’re alright and still here 👍🏼.
