  • UAW President Shawn Fain made himself famous as the defender of the working class and, in particular, temporary workers. He said the Detroit three companies abused. But tonight, many are wondering what happened as hundreds are not making that historic union wage. But are on the unemployment line.

This is the ugly side of strikes. As I have said in the past there really are no winners in a strike on either side and this just reinforces that statement. I even predicted this would happen during the strike.
We all need to keep in mind that striking in today's economy is not like the old days and this is because companies more than ever are tied so closely to the current economics of today and it shows in this UAW strike and now lay offs keep in mind that if your strike package is 1 billion in pay raises and benefits then that money will need to come from some place and now your getting a 1st hand look at how these auto makers are cutting back on day to day operations and overhead
ANY STRIKE WILL BE BAD FOR BOTH SIDES ALWAYS // AND THERE ARE NO WINNERS
