How to SOLO 6 Star Raids EASILY in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
#pokemonscarlet #pokemonviolet #pokemonguide
This method will work for most 5 star and 6 star raids! Remember to Nasty plot first before debuffing the enemy.
Metal sound for some reason is not working on any of the raid battles I'm doing on any of the terror types it doesn't work at all it just says it fails
you cant use metal sound when the shield goes up as said in the video - metal sound can also miss
@@PanFro okay
i just tried this method on a 5 star ditto and failed cause the ditto transformed into my gholdengo but aprt from that great guide
Trying to beat a 6 star gardevoir not able to beat him what would be a good build
I think I prefer hex to metal sound, maybe I'm unlucky, but almost every boss I've faced resets their stats constantly, like by the time I get up nasty plot, metal sound and likely have to recover, the shield is up and they'll most likely reset their stats.
What does hex do?
@@MacStatic 65 base power move that does double damage if the opponent has a status condition. A lot of the time the opponent will get some kind of status so you can just nasty plot up and spam hex without lowering your stats, usually gets more damage than goong for metal sound and hoping they don't reset all stats before you can even attack them.
@@mismismism does your gholdengo have a status move or just depend on the other team members? Im kinda new at this Lol so I apologize for being a noob
Does Hex 1HITKO with 3 Nasty Plot and the boss with status condition?
You actually don't even have to close the game to reset your raids/outbreaks.
Yeah anyone who's played the game has seen raids reset when you wake it up from sleep mode the following day, should've been super obvious.
You could use hex instead of recover because most of the time in solo the bots use moves to burn, poison or paralyzed the raid pokemon. If you need health use the cheer mechanic
I tried a 6 star espeon solo with my maxed out annihilape but the espeon kept bouncing back screech
Having a hard time finding this to work at all.... Always get de buffed midway through my stacks and then gotta start all over again.
This is happening to me every time. I’ve never had a raid with Gholdengo where he worked.
@@Auctarius23 Been using Iron Hands and it works like a charm. Only 1 buff and then attack
@@AA-kr6cx 100% agree. Iron Hands is fantastic. I wanted a special attacker who could work against the raids Hands couldn’t handle, and everybody said Gholdengo, but now that he’s all trained up…he takes way, way too long to set up.
Very nice! I suppose there's a few pokemon that can pull this off but none with status immune, I need to get some coins!
Ya there’s a couple of mons that can do this to cover the weakness of gholdengo like Koraidon/Miraidon and ya the ability is insanely good!
My first gimmighoul caught was modest nature :D thanks for reaching me something new I never understood stats til now!
@@mailboxxy Took me about 16
Isn't it 26 of each vitamin and not 25? Great guide btw!
25 vitamins = 250 evs, buying an extra vitamin is not really worth it unless your lazy like me lol
for a perfect distribution you have to do 25 vitamin each then 2 feathers each then 1 vitamin on another stat. Like, you want to make a perfect garchomp. You make sure he has 0 EVs then you give him 25 protein, 25 carbos, then 2 muscle feathers, 2 swift feathers and 1 hp-up. That's because 1 feather give 1 EV and 1 vitamin give 10 EV. In this case perfect distribution means 252 on attack, 252 on speed and 6 EVs on HP (because the limit is 510 total)
@@VoidXXV what is PS?
@@masonroche1 omg I am so sorry, I have the game in italian so I forgot to translate… it’s HP (Healt Point) in italian is PS (Punti Salute)
@@VoidXXV perfect, thank you :)
Im kinda late, but why can i not put calcium or the other one on gholdengo? Is it a bug
That stat is maxed out. That's why. You can probably still hyper train it
Even tho i go +6 Sp. Att
And the enemy - 6 Sp. Def
Iron coat item
380 Sp attack
Steel beam
It never one hits, am i doing something wrong
No I think these RUclipsrs are capping and I actually have been reporting every videos that I've been posted saying this guy actually works because it does not work
Did you get right nature and EV's?
@@jvs3457 yes
If your really reporting vids over something as idiotic as that, that's pretty pathetic. Especially since it does work, not 100% of the time but ALOT of the time.
Random player here - this does work but rng gets the best of some. Make sure you are maxing iv and ev.
Tinkaton mold breaker let's her target gholdengo through his passive and with helping hand 3 tinkatons = about 230% extra damage on an ability. She can use fake tears to help lower sp atk.
Easy one shot in about 2-4 turns depending on rng with mechanics cc and such.
I don't think this will woek on mirror armor corviknight will it?
What is the optimal EV spread for him?
252 sp atk / 252 spe / 6 on whathever you want
252 HP and Special Attack. Speed is usually useless in tera raids. Go for the bulk to survive more
The modest mint didn't change his nature?
Correct, it only changes the stats to what they would be if it was modest. Technically the nature itself can't be changed.
You can’t breed down minted natures, so it won’t change their summary.
Hi..if I do not have enough candy to level him to lvl 100, can I bring him to level by putting him on the team? Does that affect his EV?
I believe leveling normal actually is even better than candies at leas tit was that way in eveyr other game so at the very least its either better or the same in this game so yes you can level him normally and u will be fine but it will just take forever I recommend just doing bunch of raids with whatever pokemon to get large candies and then use them on him if u do one sweep of all your raids on the map it will give u enough to get him from 50 to 100
@@commanderludwig6009 That used to be the case in previous games because we couldn't alter the IVs of Pokémon. Now we can and we get to remember forgotten moves its even safe to catch a Pokémon at the highest level possible and when formally minted, bottle capped anf ev trained it'll be as strong as a low level counterpart that was leveled all the way up.
You can always EV train first. Just farm some money, get him trained, then you can level him using Chaney or whatever method.
Yeah and be sure to EV train first!! If you try and level first then you might screw up your EV training if you don't know what kind of EVs the pokemons you battle will improve. Ie. Chansey training will give you also HP EVs. If you don't want those then be sure to max out EV before going to the Chansey area.
You can eat certain berries to.fix your EVs
omg i traded my 1st gholdengo for koraidon 😂 luckily i managed to get another
I would’ve cried. It took me a decent amount of time getting all the coins
@@JustIrony fr, it took me like an hour and a half
@@akey_9655 You're the lucky one, I used every XP candy I found trying to evolve Gimmighoul, not knowing I needed 999 coins. It took me 2 hours and 40 minutes to find the chests
Why hp though? I did 25 special attack 15 special defense and 11 on defense. He’s got tanky hp with it hyper trained
He said it doesn't always work why you all hating
do you have to have a good gimmighoul before evolving it? because I wonder if the coins used for evolution will be lost 🤔
yes they will be gone, though you can always farm them since they respawn after sometime so just set you switch time to the next day and you should be able to farm them again
@@djenjoi6436 thx
Even if you start with bad ivs you can always hyper train to max them out
How do you get metal sound
Gholdengo learns it at level 28. If you're past that leval and don't have the move go into his moves and remember Metal Sound
I'm stuck on a 6 star gengar tera steel type
Fire flash Ceruledge with fire tera. Run bitter blade/sunny day and any other moves.
Cool so I'll try this in a year when I finish collecting all the coins 🙃 /s
Check out the guide for gimmighoul chest locations 😊
takes only 30 mins max
Look for ruins on the map and go to every watchtower. It's best to look for the gimmighoul in chests.
:::Duplication Glitch Patched:::
This Pokémon looks weird and a lil ridiculous but damn is it strong and hits like a truck.
I don’t think I found steel beam in that cave, I believe it was hydro pump, I’ll have to double check but I don’t remember steel beam being in my inventory
Wouldn’t hex be better to have as many npcs do status conditions on the raid pokemon?
Not working at all for me doing 6 star raids in groups of four.
It’s a solo method
@@gold21josh Still very bad
@@gold21josh he’s saying that’s why he’s here 💀 because group of 4 isn’t working
@@ragingstorm_ bro the reason it does not work in teams of 4 players is because the shield is probably upp before he can Steel beam did you not listen to the vid or something?
@@Notion13 some people want the methods and skip over the basics
Bruh there ant no metal claw in the store
you don't have to turn off your game 8n this one to advance the clock. works without the game shut-down.
Where can I find the make it rain tm?
How do I get make it rain
where can i find nasty plot ??? that's an insane strategy !
Gholdengo will learn nasty plot at like level 63 I believe
There is a tm on the 2nd floor in the science thing
Yo thank you so much for this breakdown! I'm not like huge into the competitive scene so a lot of stuff about stats goes right over my head. Really wanted to tackle a 6 star Dondozo I found and of course couldn't use Steel Beam on it since it was water tera, but with the proper nature, hyper training, and the calciums and hp ups, plus Nasty Plot and Metal Sound was able to tackle it with Shadow Ball instead! :D
How can I find the tm recover and metal sound??
learns by level up
@@PanFro welp I screwed up, I got mine level 50, I have to restart now 😭
@@kurt163 you can remember moves from previous levels without using a TM from the check summary menu
@@wyvern8681 I just saw it, thank you
6 star raids will appear when you finish the game? or beat the elite 4?
beat main story, elite 4, all gym rematches, and school tournament then prof. jacq will call you and tell you about 6 star raids
@@jacktoms7633 Almost. After the tournament, Mr. Jacq calls to tell you more powerful raids are appearing, but they won't be 6 star yet. You have to host a few 5 star raids (and probably win them), and then he calls to tell you 6 star raids will be available.
Close. The raids you do don’t need to be 5-star, you just need to complete 15 total.
