This is a pure HE boat with highest fires per minute at this teer. Since its so thin and has such amazing arcs you can point all guns to the target when you are almost bow or aft in. This boat wants to be perpendicular to the target and set everything on fire while laughing madly at the splashes all around it. It's really hard to kill when played correctly. And since you are firing all of your guns at all times your real DPM is astounding enemies just melt.

Not sure if it's worth mentioning but the Oda Mori Commander that comes in the bonus blitz pass has Battlefield Support + giving him an extra Radar use... no use for the Tokachi but I thought it may indicate some better utility skills on the IJN light cruiser line when it comes out.

Well, we did have a storm warning out, my wife was away, my son was gaming (and hence not to be expected to do anything else), so rescuing the clothes from being soaked saved me from a stern talking to later, and you get a chuckle out of it on top. I'll call that a win.
Have you ever done the math on those percentage bonuses? They are just above nothing. +3% to health and -2% this that are number that are extremely meager. Especially on the mobile version. Cammo is pointless and only if your adding several bonuses together, like concealment does it matter.
This ship clicked with me pretty easily. I set it up as a gunboat. It has a decent reload, so long range HE spam it was. I thought the same thing about the AP, since it was a Japanese ship, I just assumed the AP was garbage, and the HE was pretty good, so yea. Torpedoes are a bit of an afterthought. Small caliber AA is pretty atrocious, but I did some math on the large caliber (fairly easy) and the large caliber does 442 damage. Don't go alone, as the AA is trash, and the carrier will still harass you, so it's best to group up with another ship/s. It has been a very fun ship imo.
Yeah, I've discarded the AP at first as well, but it actually works pretty well against DDs. Can hurt CLs, especially the ones without armour - T6, PAs, Atlantas etc. at close range, and the gun arcs are pretty good, too. Reminds me of an oversized Aki with reduced torpedo power at T7. Punishes bad positioning or showing broadside with extreme prejudice. I had a Sinop catch me in a turn and one-shot me.
@@FunandGameswithTerry I’ll be using the AP now that I know it’s potential. Gun arcs are very good so more to use as an advantage with this ship. Yea this ship is very lightly armored (well it has enough armor to literally arm an AP shell. The other day I got citadel crisised by a Bayern😂
The AP dpm is pretty good - I’ve dumpstered a Prinz Eugen at 7km by landing penetrations on its deck though the return fire took uncomfortable chunks off my health
If you like playing Shchors, Atlanta or Flint, and want an almost 100% HE-spam-focused ship that is better at burning down things than hunting DDs, but can hurt them if they're careless and stumble into its range, then it's not a bad choice.
Thanks for the reply 😊 and the Atlanta is my favorite ship in the game so that helps. I'm only up to budyonny on the Russian cruiser but I have Mikhail Kutuzov and love her as well

Oh, interesting! That's indeed an indicator, since that wouldn't really be useful elsewhere.
I was wondering about his abilities because they aren't useful on any current IJN ships.

This is a completely different ship. More niche than the USN allrounders, but still fun.

Really like a Soviet CL. Long range HE spam most of the time, the utility with the defAA is deceptive. It's only marginally useful.

Did the blitz pass drop rates change? The rates for resources seem much less than before.
I like the german cruisers, they do a lot of AP damage and have a lot of torpedo launchers.

16:33 so in world of tanks Blitz, premiums get better match making. Perhaps world of warships blitz is the same 😅
Sometimes you fought hard but one or two of your team mates most of the time struggling with their own skill issues.😅

I'd say I'm a CL main, but it's not for everyone, which is good - otherwise there wouldn't be any BBs to farm damage on 😉
