Hey Terry, Trailb1azer here. I have had her for about 2 years and she's an awesome ship. I generally go with HE on battleships from afar (she's a decent fire starter) and AP everything else. I bow tank for first half of the match and also her turrets rarely get shotdown.
The damage record for Azuma did not break 100K in NA server for a couple Years, think it sat at 65K for a year then 80 something K for another year ...
Nice video! i think this ship is kind of having gameplay like french in which depending on your matchmaking you can do or can't do something all depending upon bb players who allow you to play however you want to
The title is very reasonable😂 I would say the whole big cruiser thing is a chain of cause and effect. The origin of every thing goes back to the Graf Spee Class 😂 Then the French build the Dunkerque Class, then the Scharnhorst was built against her. After that, almost every country has a plan for big cruisers, but the American did finish the Alaska😂 and the whole loop started again. Come on guys! 😅It’s just a Spee, don’t be so over panic😂
I was considering getting her from the ranked shop until one day I crossed paths with her with my Mainz and I was able to get a whole lot of citadels into her, with my Mainz....That's Tier VIII 150 MM shells. if Mainz was able to put that much of a dent into her I don't want to imagine what proper tier X battleships can do to her.
She's decently manoeuvrable, but still a cruiser. She's sort of like the French supercruisers, but with better reload. Still meh, not utterly terrible, but also not really good
i got this hip when the budget crate came along and had 300 gold and i said why not and 300 gold later this comes up in my opinion it ok because it fits my playstyle even tho i prefer my agir for the large cruiser role
Hey, Terry! Nice video and it basically confirmed all my thoughts about this ship. I got it for free from a budget crate and I thought I was blessed, only to struggle with the difficulty this ship poses. This makes me think of something else, So recently, I got the legendary JP commander Togo Heihachiro. It's for the JP cruiser line, I guess. What if I put the premium camo along with this commander on Azuma? (I've never touched any cruiser tech tree so Azuma is the only CA I have lol) Would appreciate it if you could make a short video of the maxed-out Azuma if possible. Thanks for the always informative and helpful clips!
togo is op for ijn cruiser, but azuma without the yoshino torps rly is just too big a target for anyone, tho might shine in tierVIII games. and for me camo is not worth it, definitely helps but does not fundamentally change the ship.

Since your video on yoshino it got a reduction in concealment and with camo can stealth torp. Check it out again. Do a maxes. 😊
