I start my first day at Amazon in a couple of days. Does Amazon only offer the relocation assistance program to previous employees, or can I just apply to one near Houston? I checked the website and noticed there are currently openings available. If so do I have to be employed with them for at least 6 months-year in order to get qualified for it? Heyyyy!!! I am not sure what Tier level employee you are but they only offer relocation assistance to management level employees (L4 and up) if the site they are placing you at is greater than a 60 mile radius from your home address (it could be less). You would have to stay in that site for 2 years before you can relocate again if they offer you assistance! If you are Tier 1 or 3 you can apply for a transfer, as long as you are a blue badge employee, but you would have to cover the cost of relocation. I hope that answers your question ☺

@@simplysummer7777 No problem. The Graebel relocation agent connected me with an apartment locator/real estate agent in Houston who was able to give me a list of places that were in close proximity to my job and verified if the places I was interested in were also a good fit.

Katy , Jersey village, cypress , sugar land and Pearland are good areas also downtown and galleria area
