I like the entire concert, I go every year-sometimes twice. Having said that this song is my favorite and I would go to the concert if this was the only song they played.

If you notice at the end they bow in humility to the Lord Jesus, and then lift up their heads to the sky in praise to God.

The choreography and movement of the singers in the piece is very powerful and meaningful to me.

I like the kids version but I also like the woman. It's gives the song a rocking edge and that's ok. Furthermore, I like the boots and the hair flinging. I can relate to the fierceness of the woman. There's a place for that interpretation as well.

I really like your reply. This has been my favorite TSO song since I first got “hooked” on their Christmas Concert 11 or 12 years ago. I’m captivated about everything about these women, their unified powerful entry, their purposeful turn to the audience, the grace and power of their movements-heads, hair, arms and legs - it’s all awesome to me. And of course their voices, They sing with such power and conviction. Jennifer Cella was my favorite but all of these women are incredibly talented. For what it’s worth I also like the kid’s version.

@@BarryL713 I'm guessing that you know that Jennifer Cella is the one to thank for the Hair Flip. The story behind the Hair Flip will always have me laughing.

@@mustangsally5144 I did not know that but I’m eternally grateful for that hair-flip. Tell me the story.

@@BarryL713 it's really kind of silly is why I laugh. She's also has a rock band or use to and during performances and in-between verses during a song she never can just stand there so of course she'll be moving to the music and swinging her head back n forth to it. Well when she auditioned for TSO of course between verses of this song she was swinging her head back n forth and moving to the music and damned of the director didn't like that move of hers so much that he added it to the show. And no, I'm not kidding. Though I read the interview with her and could not see or hear here I swear I could hear her baffled laugh. It was just a fluke and has absolutely nothing to do with the Christmas Story or song but the Hair Flip has become a bit famous and expected during this song. I have to admit that even I prefer the version where the Hair Flip is involved. Lol. Told you it's really silly but it's hers and it's become famous. Lol.

I'm sorry but I should of looked his name first. It was actually the producer Paul O'Neil who unfortunately is now deseased, not the director.
