Let me one up you here 1. Cooling: 2 Bastigor. Max Condensed w/souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) (Only one needs to be like this they both need nocturnal) 2. Planting/Gathering/Medicine: 1 Lyleen Max Condense w/ souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) She reaches higher levels than Prunelia = more productivity 1 Prunelia Max Condense w/ souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Serious) 1 Lullu (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) or you take a second Lyleen Maxed. With max research it doesn't matter TBH. You can also skip a third planter as well. It's not needed if you do research. 3. Watering: 2 Faleris Aqua Max Condense w/ Souls(Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire). Leave them to help transport they will prioritize watering jobs. 4. Electricity: 2 Azuremane Max Condense w/ Souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire). If the base above is the example w/ four oil pumps running plus everything else. You should be using R5 Electricity with increases or you will lose power at times during heavy work loads. You can turn off their harvesting if you like. 5. Kindling/Mining: 3 Blazamut Ryu Max Condense w/ Souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) There are R5 Kindling and R5 mining. 2 Knocklem Max Condense w/ Souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) 6. Transporting and Handiwork: 5 Anubis Max Condense w/ Souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) 7. Lumber: 1 Celesdir Max Condense w/ Souls (Remarkable Craft, Artisan, Work Slave, Nocturnal/Vampire) That's 20 pals. You will be so over filled with resources you will have to add extra storage or start spam crafting components to keep up with the income you will have. All of those pals above will have a disgusting amount of work speed even at regular speeds. If you are playing at 25-30 pals you can add extra transport, mining, NPC traders at base. Which allows you to make more ingots for coin profit. You don't have to jump around to 3 different bases. It's all in one. Other than breeding and the raid base etc. etc. Obviously the pals are missing a bit of work speed due to Nocturnal/Vampire. However the need to not sleep increases productivity.
Would recommend breeding Anubis and Silvegis at your breeding base for passive large souls, tech points, and Chromite by sending them through the pal shredder.
Im so glad Im not the only one who prefers the human sized transport pals even if they have lesser work levels so that they don't get stuck. Im working on some Katress Ignis for this exact reason and as my kindling team
Very nice guide for a most-in-one base. Lunaris is also a good size, but unfortunately her work stats aren't as good. Improvable with the books now, though. Splatterina doesn't have good mining like Anubis, but she can Handy and Gather at night with micromanaging or using one slot all-around. Can't wait to see if some top pals get typemorphs, like Anubis Aqua, Lunaris Noct, Blazamut Cryst, etc.
I enjoy having Splatterina around the base, current just have artisan on them but do got a Chillet with the Remarkable Craftsman I plan to breed over. I know most will still stick it Anubis but you need Nocturnal which would take up 1 of your 4 passives if you are still sticking to him. Splatterina being a dark type doesn’t need Nocturnal which allows her to run Remarkable Craftsman, Artisan, Lucky, and Serious and she’ll go to town on any items you need such as the new Exotic Spheres. I see the new deer (Celisdeer if I remember correctly) has lvl 4 lumber so I can see having Nocturnal on them with the best work speed passives so it can head bang against the trees as fast it can without breaking its neck.
Work slave is better than lucky, max work speed is just Craftmenship instead of lucky now, if you still want lucky then put it in for serious since Lucky is 15%, serious 20%, workslave and Artisan is 30% and craftsmanship 75%
Anubis will still out perform as a base pal just based off their movement speed alone and slapping nocturnal on it with some crafting speed increases still better imo. If you want a tree pal get one of the R4 lumbers and max it out with nocturnal gg.
Not that you need it. You can add two more oil machines in your base if placed correctly. Would also recommend pushing your base pals to max condense for performance. Use Blazamut Ryu max condensed w/ the best work passives. It will have 5 mining and 5 in kindling. It won't get stuck like Jormuntide Ignis either. They will be mining so fast your base resource nodes will be over filled. Then when they need to do a smelt or cook they will run from their other jobs. This free's you up from having to have 1-2 Jormuntide Ignis in your base with miners as well. If you have 2 Blazamut Ryu's maxed out. Your other base pals are superb choices.
i recommend to replace all pals that have same or close to same base skills to dark pals and try to find the base skill pall books to make them better because all dark pals have nocturnal
kind of odd lineup in a few cases. I mean, I for one would definietly slap 4 Jormuntide Ignises on a base with that many pal slots, if I want proper ingot production and/or cooking. Also, if you're going to assign those 2 Knocklems to 1-1 mining sites respectively, might as well use an astegon instead. Those can work all day and night, without needing a specific vampiric/nocturnal passive for it.
@rainmanthegoat indeed, but to max condense it, I'd need both a male and female to start mass producing them. Also, to get any good passives on them, I'd have to rely on random passive gains, as they can't be bred by any other means. The ones I mentioned however can be bred by multiple combinations, or through at least 1 combination where at least 1 parent can be bred through multiple ways, allowing to pass certain passives down to them more easily. For example, I have a nice lineup of 8 perfect passive astegons in a base just mining away at mining sites, most without being specifically assigned to any, just having the rest of their suitabilities turned off. They mine a crapton of stuff really fast, even without max condensation levels. If I were to max them out, they'd be level 5 too. Jormuntide ignises are mostly needed so I can turn those ores into ingots as fast as possible. Than there are a bunch of anubises to turn them into gold coins and whatnot. There's also a celesdir to gather wood which the jormuntide ignises can turn into charcoal, that the anubises can turn into gunpowder using the sulfur the astegons also mine, meaning I have access a shitloads of ammo from them as well. Having so many base pal slots is really handy. Tons of mining pals, 4-4 for kindling and handywork, a merchant or 2 when needed, and really, I'm set for days. Food production is also included, using 2 Lyleens, a few faleris aquas, and I do believe I also set a Frostallion Noct on gathering duty there. The only real chokepoint is, that even with the anubises/faleris aquas transporting, they prioritize specific farms, and due to that, a ton of drops just stay on the ground uncollected for some reason. That I'll still have to fix someday. By putting a bunch of extra transporting pals in that base or something.
Don't gathering pals get more with higher level skills? I think you're missing out on a bunch of crops by not having a Frostallion Noct doing gathering.
Curious to hear about Anubis being the pick for transporting. Though I do see the reason. IMO Vanwyrm Cryst is a better option. Transporting 3 innate, is a bird so getting stuck is not as big a concern, almost as fast, being able to breed for size (since birds don’t get stuck as easily) means they have noticeably longer reach (less travel time), Dark typing means innately nocturnal. At that point you decide if you want to dedicate to transporting (speed passives) or have one or two do your Cooling duties as well (Cooling 2 innate isn’t too bad and with work speed passives it’ll get up there)
think its also cuz anubis has one of the highest base move speeds as well from what i remember reading he was like second fastest behind vanwyrm cryst but his super small stature just really helps... plus he naruto runs everywhere which is derpy cute imo :Di got like 8 zooming around one of my bases atm and sometimes i just stop and watching them :D freaking love anubis
