@@lwolfe2122exactly. Had my 4 chikipis without nocturnal breed against 4 with nocturnal. 546 eggs vs 845 eggs after a set time so going full workspeed aint it 😂

But I guess there's also the medicine rack now which trivializes it, so Nocturnal is probably better than Serious. Thanks for pointing that out!
@@shaftinc8739 The whole point of breeding is to achieve the perfect traits, not to wait an ungodly and, frankly, unnecessarily long time to incubate an egg. So no, you wouldn’t really be cheating to get the perfect pal; you would still need to find and breed the pals enough to get the traits you want.
Before you start doing any of this, it's a pretty good idea to breed "perfect" Yakumo's (the little white dog in Feybreak) and get it to rank 4. Especially if you're going to try for perfect traits on multiple pals. Yakumo's trait makes it much more likely for pals you catch to have whatever passives it has. So having a Yakumo with Remarkable Craftsman make it wayyy more likely to get it on ANY pal you want.
i also want to say i would personally drop serious for either nocturnal or vampiric as then they will never need to sleep and always be working. im currently working on making most of my pals vampiric as i got one early my current best Anubis. i have a set of artisan, remarkable craftsmanship, vampiric and heart of the eternal king. Edit: also i want to make an honorable mention to getting a perfect pal and breeding it with a philanthropist even though that bumps the number to 5 traits it doubles the egg making speed so it can really help because it lowers the chance of a perfect but you make double the eggs.
For Anubis specifically, I would definitely use Swift over serious. Anubis is a great multipurpose pal and especially excels in transporting, considering it's already high movement speed and smaller size. I like to keep a fast Anubis in every one of my bases just to move items around and occasionally help build something. It's also a top tier pal for mining bases and production lines
nope, relax is huge eggs same w anubis but even w trash anubis you still got decent handworker/ mining or better quality drop with anubis when you butcher them.
Use Yakumo to make finding passives easier. Mass catching your chosen pal for passives also can be a quicker option for condensing your main pal afterwards than breeding. At least that's how I got sorted with my Chikipi and Mozzerina for cake farm.
I made a new world, and literally the first pal I caught was a lamball with remarkable craftsmanship. Carried my playthrough hard. Jormuntide and Anubis are used in so many breeding combos its worth breeding a good one of those even if you dont want to use them. I don't even use them on my base since Felaris Aqua and Splatterina are just straight upgrades, but it's still worth having them for breeding other stuff.
i have a question is there a pal that does it the same way anubis did to transform his work speed passives to mining kindling and watering but this time this pal transform maybe damage passives to most combat pals?
These new passives can they only be obtained by stronger pals like Anubis? I would really like a video explaining exactly what the best way of obtaining them is and if their are any limitations.
They're just rarer afaik. I caught a lamball with Eternal Engine at the very beginning of the game, so they it's definitely not locked to specific Pals. Some are more common on specific pals though, like "Invader" on the Invader pals. Like Relaxourus and Glutton.
@@Tigery760ok yes your right thank you. I just caught 368 lamballs and got swift. And 210 chikipi and got demon god and remarkable craftsmanship. And 13 cremis and got heart of the immovable king which is insane. I’ve only be at it for 2hrs and this going well!
Could you please tell me which pal is the best for each trait? Handiwork, etc? Is there also something like the best pal set up? Also what's the best way to get milk and eggs for the cakes?
nice short guide. cheers. any guide on a base for making cakes and breeding all in one, my server has 3 bases per person so i can't dedicate multiple bases to it.
Cakes are easy. Berry farm, ranch (mozzarina, chikipi, beegarde). That covers all of the ingredients and you can build a base for that anywhere. You might want to breed for a beegarde since they like to self-destruct when fighting them.
You definitely can put some ranches and farms on a breeding base, I had 3-4 ranches producing eggs, milk and honey but at a certain point I was breeding way too slow and turned to just using 2 ranches with only the bees for honey (since you can't buy it) and bought the milk and eggs from a merchant cause you can get 1000 for like 50k gold
So what are the 4 skills they should have? Also why does it matter if its a dark pal or not? Can someone give examples that explain this? Like what would be a perfect Anubis?
Or replace Serious with Nocturnal and now they work 24/7! Losing 20% work speed in exchange for they also working at night is worth it imo (at least for mining pal). I just randomly get lucky and got Remarkable Craftsmanship on my Anubis just a couple egg in when I just trying to breed them to be ... "disassembled" .... for pal soul. So I breed the full Artisan + Remarkable + Nocturnal + Work Slave. He's such a good boyy made so many rockets and gatling ammo for many of my "peaceful negotiation" with the local and tower boss.
One of those passive skills should be nocturnal for most pals. All except the dark type. It literally doubles their productivity by allowing them to keep working at night hours
On the topic of breeding, not sure if this was ever confirmed or if my luck is just god awful, but I've noticed that when breeding two pals with the same trait (example: both the male and female have Serious) the odds of getting that trait to pass on seems to go down and the odds of getting a random trait seems to go up. Again, could just be bad luck on my part, but it's happened so many times I'm starting to think it's not a coincidence any more.
If I recall it use to work if they have the same skill it would pass but since both can have 4 skill is like 1 to 8 and think of it like this is best to have 2 skill on one of the parents soo always try to have 3 and 1 or 2 and 2
That's the thing: even when both parents were 2 and 2 (Serious and Impatient w/ Serious and Work Slave for example) there was always such a terrible chance for it pass on Serious. Again, could just be bad luck on my end, but these days it seems like the exact opposite, where both of them having it is an awful idea.
@invertedghostgames9899 so far i notice this bad passive passing once the Sakujima update happen but that just means I had to spend extra cakes for the passive I want
I tried this as well and noticed that the child rarely had the trait, you would think that both parents having the trait would make it more likely to show up lol
You would think so, yes. Though it's possible that the devs wanted to give a subtle nod that with traits being tied to pal genetics, having two of them with the same traits could imply... y'know. Could also be some kind of coding quirk where if the trait would be passed down from one, it ticks the flag for yes, and then getting a second ticked yes from the other parent ticks the flag back off, like hitting the same switch twice. Either those, or they wanted the breeding mechanics to stray further away from the way Pokemon does it. Or both!
theres also a 3rd one with handiwork 4 base: splatterina. and she has super many combinations like anubis does. but she cant be bred into pals like jormuntide/ignis so you have to breed here with nitewing to get anubis to get the other. + shes also a dark pal (dont know why that is better than a normal one)
@@herrkevin7 Dark type pals don't have to sleep so they can be working 24/7 which gets you more resources. Thanks for pointing that out, I thought anubis and selyne were the only 2 with handiwork 4.

I was lucky and had a grizzbolt w/ no traits so I just bred a relaxaurus and got orserk that way
I dont remember where i saw it but someone said if the parents triats are 3 and 1 then its much harder to get all 4 compared to if they had 2 each. Idk how much difference it makes though
Is remarkable craftmanship easier to get then lucky i had to start all over cause my game kept crashing and messing up my save i had perfect so many perfect anubis with lucky, serious, workslave and artisan
Both honestly. I got remarkable craftsmanship from a breeding mutation, but I've also found it on wild pals. Depending on what level you are and how much gold you have though, catching a bunch is a good way to farm for it
Hey! Great video! I’m trying to breed for perfect IVS and already have 2 parents with the 4 passives that I want. Is it better to have 2 passives each parent or both parents with the 4 passives that I want?
Y’all got some tips for meh cus I have nocturnal Anubis and one with Artisan and plus Diet and I never get any one so I need a lil tip so I can get an Anubis with those to produce them into more Nocturnal Diet and Artisan Anubis
ive managed to get a work slave, serious, artisan, and craftsmanship and even ranked anubus up to level 5 his work speed is only 269, im not sure how you got that high % on work speed
No that shouldn't matter, you 60% from using pal souls on the statue of power, 30% from food buff (pizza, salad, etc), 50% from super hard work mode, and I have the research tree fully maxed out (not sure if that applies in the calculation though)
Just go for a pal with Serious, artisan, lucky, work slave for 150 work speed it’s still insanely good, remarkable craftsmanship is so unbelievably rare it’s not even worth waiting for, if you get it happy days and breed it in switching it for lucky
It's definitely an option, but the chance of the Yakumo passing down all 4 traits was like 0.8% (I think?) and either way you have to do a ton of catching/breeding, but it may be more worth it in the long run
@sentful yea thinking about it further I realize there's also some pals you can't even catch, especially not en masse so it probably wouldn't be worth it
@@sentful I had thought that Digtoise was special but I now have looked at other videos comparing the two so now I know Digtoise is good for nodes in the wild but Astegon for sites in the base. Sorry! I am still new to Palworld.
Do you know what's interesting. As an experiment I have the trait on my pal that allows you to breed faster for both male and female and apparently they have a huge chance to have only that trait. Initially I did it so I could have pals that I could use to empower other Pals through totally not ritual sacrifice 😳. I haven't tested you having two pals with the same traits in all four categories if it does the same thing.
Tbf wouldn’t selyne or splatterina be better for handiwork now. Unlike Anubis they’re dark types which means you can go full workspeed instead of needing nocturnal for them
Splatterina is probably the best pick now, I knew that selyne was handiwork 4 but hard to breed and I was in the middle of making the guide when the update came out with splatterina lol.
FTW ppl are saying Splatterina best for Handicraft now, as the pal is Nocturnal by Nature so will never stop working. Also only has a feeding need of 2 vs Anubis 6
i have no idea how people are getting some of these rare traits i have been mass taming chickens so i can turn them into yakumos and condense the best stuff but im over 3500 chickens and have only seen 2 of the rare traits swift and demon lord. I desperately want a pal added to the game similar to yakumo but it just increases the chance at a random rarer trait.
Actually I dont want pals that look like this since I want to keep my bases running during the night, which is why all my workers are made with nocturnal instead of more workspeed, which nets me more resources rather than them having to sleep 😏🤙
Nocturnal is def very good, I didn't go with swift because if pals can't reach a work station after like 2 seconds they'll just start doing it in place, so movement speed (can be) somewhat obsolete especially for big pals
i perfer nocturnal passive over serious yes it does not give work speed but it does let the pals work in night as well making 100percent more useful my anubis has nocturnal, artisan, remarkable craftsmen, work slave
Well, this is the same kind of videos like every other breeding video out there, the only difference is that you added one of the new passive traits on your anubis and the same old procedure as to how to easiest get anubis early on. I thought that you would at least go into details regarding the IV's and inheritance system with a title like this on your video, you didn't even mention the new "Large Scale Electric Egg Incubator" (level 60) for those more advanced than level 19 nor about the "Ability Glasses" (Level 33) that you can unlock with ancient points. Rather than godlike production, this is just the same as those old breeding video guides that have been out for months, just with one better trait in it. You just got lucky and found the one better trait that everyone wants, and then made a video that made it look easy for beginners. I can only imagine new players cursing for ages before finally getting that Diamond trait so they can finally do the same, but I doubt that they will be level 19 when they finally get that Anubis. :/
Valid but you don't really need good IVs on working pals, I just wanted to show more how to breed for traits you want, and I watched other guides and they were either 20 minutes long and full of nothing or they didn't explain things well, so I decided to just make my own :)
How to easily Breed Godlike?? In single player, just set maximum pals to 50 per base and set up 10 BREEDING FARMS. Definitely faster than anyone else 😅😅
I would suggest breeding to the pal type you want asap and then breed two of these until you get good passives. You can already use them even with useless passives and you can later condense the not perfect ones. With your method you end up with a bunch of probably useless parents.
I just got remarkable craftsmanship, demon god, and diamond body on chikipi in about 200 catches. Randomly got eternal engine on an alpha bushi noct from a dungeon. Maybe try a mass catching session rather than relying on mutations
@@RicardoVandeZand no problem.. of course you’ll be at the mercy of rng still, but I think you’ll spend less time on average catching since the chance for a mutation when breeding is only 40%
Yeah the rainbow passives are super rare, I've only got them from mutations like once each. But they are definitely worth it in the end as you only really need to get lucky getting them once.
Noting about this was useful 🤣 homie said get a female & a male no shit Sherlock if anyones wanting a higher chance of getting a good perk catch & abuse Dr brown this guys a bozo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right now pals don't need to have lvl 4 to be the best for certain task. You can use books to increase lvl of e.g. handiwork of any pal with this skill. So the best option would be to use small dark (nocturnal) pals. Of course this will require a lot of grinding but yeah :D
What i'm wondering about is: My work pals (Jormuntide + Ignis / Anubis / Knocklem (mining & Transport) have perfect Passive talents (remark. Craft./Artisan/Serous/Work Slave), they are 4* and +10 in Souls for Work Speed. Mostly I got ~350ish Work Speed. With blue food they go ~400-500. My question: Is this the best possible? Wondering because of the thumbnail with 850 Work Speed..... Requesting explanation. And Happy new Year 2025!
Fully condensed, maxed out work speed enhancement, passive skills, food (I think pizza or salad, not sure which), and super hard work mode makes it go that high. I also have the handiwork speed research in the lab, not sure if that applies to the calculation though

Is remarkable craftmanship easier to get then lucky i had to start all over cause my game kept crashing and messing up my save i had perfect so many perfect anubis with lucky, serious, workslave and artisan
should I just catch as many different Pals as possible for [Remarkable Craftsmanship], or is breeding a better option?
Both honestly. I got remarkable craftsmanship from a breeding mutation, but I've also found it on wild pals. Depending on what level you are and how much gold you have though, catching a bunch is a good way to farm for it
@@sentful currently at Lv 50 with ~120k. What exacly do you mean by breeding mutation?
@@StarforceSF Just that pals can sometimes hatch with traits that aren't on either parent
@@sentful Ah, gotcha. Thanks!
Bruh thx alot. I on my dayz 987 in game I what you just explained was 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey! Great video!
I’m trying to breed for perfect IVS and already have 2 parents with the 4 passives that I want.
Is it better to have 2 passives each parent or both parents with the 4 passives that I want?
If they both have the exact same passives, then you can breed those just fine.
what if both pals have 4 traits each that I want, either the same or mixmatch of traits desired?
that works as well, it just needs to be 4 unique traits. I should have specified in the vid
Now does this guide work for combat pals and travel pals
Similar story yes, but for combat pals you could also be going for high IV's, this video was just for getting the traits you want really.
Y’all got some tips for meh cus I have nocturnal Anubis and one with Artisan and plus Diet and I never get any one so I need a lil tip so I can get an Anubis with those to produce them into more Nocturnal Diet and Artisan Anubis
The best way of getting a good relaxasaurus is to breed to make one. That way you can have one without that negative in the Pal.
True. I just caught them and didn't want to breed any more lol
ive managed to get a work slave, serious, artisan, and craftsmanship and even ranked anubus up to level 5 his work speed is only 269, im not sure how you got that high % on work speed
does it matter where the passive skills are at on the bars? to get higher % ?
No that shouldn't matter, you 60% from using pal souls on the statue of power, 30% from food buff (pizza, salad, etc), 50% from super hard work mode, and I have the research tree fully maxed out (not sure if that applies in the calculation though)
so is remarkable craftmanship random
Yes, but it's one of the new 'rainbow' tier of passives which means its super rare
Just go for a pal with Serious, artisan, lucky, work slave for 150 work speed it’s still insanely good, remarkable craftsmanship is so unbelievably rare it’s not even worth waiting for, if you get it happy days and breed it in switching it for lucky
What about breeding Yakumos with the passives you want and catching pals that you need? Would that work as well? Or is that more tedious?
It's definitely an option, but the chance of the Yakumo passing down all 4 traits was like 0.8% (I think?) and either way you have to do a ton of catching/breeding, but it may be more worth it in the long run
@sentful yea thinking about it further I realize there's also some pals you can't even catch, especially not en masse so it probably wouldn't be worth it
But I did have to just check and make sure, because of Yakumo's ability felt good, but it is probably worth using for single passives
changes serious to nocturnal so your pal work day and night
perfect video
I thought Digtoise was faster at mining than Astagon?
Digtoise has base level 3 mining and astegon has 4, and astegon is a dark type which will continue to work throughout the night
@@sentful I had thought that Digtoise was special but I now have looked at other videos comparing the two so now I know Digtoise is good for nodes in the wild but Astegon for sites in the base. Sorry! I am still new to Palworld.
After getting Anubis 4 passive . How do we get all those passive to another pal ? Parent 1 Anubis with all 4 passive and parent 2 must be blank ?
Yeah, blank or parent 2 only has traits on the other parent, either way
Do you know what's interesting. As an experiment I have the trait on my pal that allows you to breed faster for both male and female and apparently they have a huge chance to have only that trait. Initially I did it so I could have pals that I could use to empower other Pals through totally not ritual sacrifice 😳. I haven't tested you having two pals with the same traits in all four categories if it does the same thing.
if your on a server or just don't sleep i would replace serous with nocturnal/vampiric
No no holy 4 are artisan workoholic remarkable craftsmanship and (get this) nocturnal.
Splatterina is a better pal for crafting than anubis, she is a dark type so has nocturnal by default.
You can breed relaxsaurus to not have glutton
If you want Relaxaurus without glutton you need to breed him down. I did that when i wanted to breed for Orserk 😏
And then there was Mrs. SplaterinA
Thank you so much
Im going to go nuts, i deadass just breeded 14 Astegons, 12 Anubises, 3 Jormuntides, 4-5 Lullus and 3 Verdashes for max Work speed
this is not fair
worst is splaterinna looks so much cooler than anubis, I'm in tears
i have no idea how people are getting some of these rare traits i have been mass taming chickens so i can turn them into yakumos and condense the best stuff but im over 3500 chickens and have only seen 2 of the rare traits swift and demon lord. I desperately want a pal added to the game similar to yakumo but it just increases the chance at a random rarer trait.
I can’t pick up lucky pals
They're quite rare, fortunately lucky isn't that great of a trait anymore so you don't need it
You can breed glutton out of the Lazy boy.
Actually I dont want pals that look like this since I want to keep my bases running during the night, which is why all my workers are made with nocturnal instead of more workspeed, which nets me more resources rather than them having to sleep 😏🤙
True!
Swift/Nocturnal > Work slave and Serious
Nocturnal is def very good, I didn't go with swift because if pals can't reach a work station after like 2 seconds they'll just start doing it in place, so movement speed (can be) somewhat obsolete especially for big pals
How did your anubis get 5 handiwork ?
i perfer nocturnal passive over serious yes it does not give work speed but it does let the pals work in night as well making 100percent more useful my anubis has nocturnal, artisan, remarkable craftsmen, work slave
No nocturnal? Hard to take this vid seriously...
I got demon god and vampiric pretty strong
if only they would change the breeding mechanic a little bit so it would be less RNG dependent
Very true but it does feel nice when you get that perfect pal!
With your method you end up with a bunch of probably useless parents.
banger
well you are lucky that you got the passive Remarkable craftmanship im breeding for like 3 days straight non got it on it..
I just got remarkable craftsmanship, demon god, and diamond body on chikipi in about 200 catches. Randomly got eternal engine on an alpha bushi noct from a dungeon. Maybe try a mass catching session rather than relying on mutations
@@lwolfe2122 Solid strat. Chikipi + Mossanda Lux for Yakumo and you're set from there
@lwolfe2122 thanks for the advice i'll give that a try
@@RicardoVandeZand no problem.. of course you’ll be at the mercy of rng still, but I think you’ll spend less time on average catching since the chance for a mutation when breeding is only 40%
Yeah the rainbow passives are super rare, I've only got them from mutations like once each. But they are definitely worth it in the end as you only really need to get lucky getting them once.
i like cake
Noting about this was useful 🤣 homie said get a female & a male no shit Sherlock if anyones wanting a higher chance of getting a good perk catch & abuse Dr brown this guys a bozo 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right now pals don't need to have lvl 4 to be the best for certain task. You can use books to increase lvl of e.g. handiwork of any pal with this skill. So the best option would be to use small dark (nocturnal) pals. Of course this will require a lot of grinding but yeah :D
True, the books are super rare though I've only found one for planting and mining so getting multiple of each would take forever lol
I like the part where you just casually skip the most time consuming task, getting the remarkable craftmanship trait...
I'm sure you also having changed the spawn rate to 3x or w/e helped too. trash video
Spawn rates were normal, I never claimed it was easy lol
What i'm wondering about is:
My work pals (Jormuntide + Ignis / Anubis / Knocklem (mining & Transport) have perfect Passive talents (remark.
@@sentfulthanks for the reply!
the hard work mode and research could be what i'm missing.
How do you keep your pals sane? Even with normal work mode my pals have ~70ish SAN. With perfect beds (large), one high quality "pool" and the beta/alpha wave.
@@legendaer05 It's really hard without having sanity decreasing traits on them, you could put a few of the Shroomer pals in your base to help with sanity
