My mother and I did the tutorial together with her on my old ipad.
Great fun and I'm really proud of how we did. She's excited to try another one.
Aw that’s fantastic 😊 well done to both of you
watch the whole thing. i'm simply amazed at how "simply" this is but how effective it is, its a whole class i loved it thx
Thanks, James. Loved all the tutorials that I've watched thus far and you're a great teacher. This is the first tutorial that I attempted to paint after having been watching a lot of your great tutorials. I was blown away by how the result turned out. I've never thought I could paint anything like this till now.
It’s insane how realistic each of your digital paintings are!!! Amazing job 🤩 🌊🏝️
Thank you so much 😊
The best. Do more beach and tropical paintings! 😁

Thank you I will
Ouuu, I have already spent four days on the other wave. I don´t know yet if I should dare to try this one too. Although this one is really wonderful too 🥰 Your art is stunning and you explain the steps perfectly. I love painting with you. Thanks for that.
Think you’ll find this one refreshingly straight forward compared to the first 😊
Love the new intro! The waves motion on this painting is everything❤ love it
Thank you so much 😊
@JamesJulier-Artist. Did you animate the intro as well 🧐
Thank you so much for your clear tutorial(s)! Tried this one too. The flow of my waves are not as ‘natural’ as yours, but I am happy to succeed at some level!❤
Doubting myself lately. Thank YOU for reminding me what can be done if one stops thinking and just does it!
You are so welcome!
Great tutorial. I loved how it turned out as oceans and waves are always a struggle point for me
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for making videos like this, as someone who wants to learn how to draw my realistic drawings this is very helpful!
You're very welcome!
I can't believe I just drew that, AND IT LOOKS GREAT! Thank you for these tutorials.
Ha fantastic to hear
I like your new intro, even with the remastered theme
Thank you 😊
Excellent mate, it looks like a real picture. I liked to much detail, easy and helpful.
Thanks for the vid james great as always ❤️
Thank you 😊
Cool new intro! I just got back from the beach so I’m feeling really inspired to do this one!
Lucky you and thanks 😊
Amazing! fabulous as always.
Ah thank you 😊
Another great video. Thank you so much for the tutorials. I am learning a lot n love the way they are turning out.
You are so welcome!
Love it! 🤩 Great work James
Ah thanks man much appreciated 😊
Always love your videos with clear explanation😊
Thank you for this! I used a different app so it was challenging to look for suitable brushes, but I was pretty happy with the end result. 😊
Glad to hear you could still follow along 😊
Just finished it! It turned out very nice! I like how you split such a hard drawing in little steps and details. Absolutely love your work. Keep going!:)
Oh that's brilliant. Thanks so much. It will help me.
Glad it helped!
Superb that James, as always, making life as an artist seem easy for us noobs!
Nice new animation too!
Thank you so much 😊
It was a good try for me but maybe because I’m very beginner I could not draw the waves well I need to try again 😅 thank you.. I follow you from Turkiye 🇹🇷
It is beautiful I love this
Love the video. Thank you so much. Question: how should I go about learning these techniques to apply to scenes I see in real life? It is a lot to memorize the brushes and stuff so how do you go about learning what is the best way to be able to recall it all to apply? Thanks so much.
It’s just a case of building up experience, not to use the specific brushes or colours every time, but learning how the effects can be built up. Over time you will begin to intuit it, no short cuts though, just building experience and knowledge
Thanks for a great tutorial.
Glad it was helpful!
Just great! I learn a lot! Thanks
My pleasure
Love this!!
Thank you 😊
Thank you, great video tutorial! Cheers Dave
Very welcome
Hey! Great work. Can i ask: which is the reason for choosing that particular color profile?
I just checked and I did the similar one in February 2022 and I like this one a bit better I think! I need to try to see if I can improve and be happier than the former one. Thanks, James!!
Please do! I think this one is actually easier
Please draw waterfall for next tutorial 😊
Awesome!!
Thank you 🙏
Sweet 🌊
Thank you
Hi! How can we make the soft brush STOP clinging and being sticky?
I’ve turned down stabilization entirely, but the lines cling to the pencil tip and do now following the drawing path like in your video.
I'm in process of completing my painting. I wanted to see how well I could do using Photoshop. A lot of the brushes are similar but also very different. So it's not exactly the same....which I suppose is key. I do have a question though...I've been wanting to do more pieces, landscapes as well as more fanciful pieces to sell as prints. Would I be allowed to make my own piece available as a print? And if so, what would I need to change?
Go for it, sell them as they are if you can
@@JamesJulier-Artist Thank you! I wanted to ask first. 🥰
Sir, what types of equipment you using (pad -pen- software)?
Can’t wait to try this!!!
Great 😊 look forward to seeing it
The new intro looks amazing.... the wave looks quite amazing. 😊👋
Thank you so much 😊
Hello James, I just found your channel and everything you do is stunning. I'm trying to use these colors that I entered manually with the Hex codes, but the colors appear a bit different than yours. When I try to change the Procreate color profile to your recommended setting of "sRBG IE61966-2.1", Procreate always changes it to "EPSON sRGB" which could explain way the colors might be slightly different. (BTW, I've imported your colors, as well, with the same results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
It could just be my camera that oversaturate the colours
Thank you for your reply. But, do you have any idea why Procreate color profile to your recommended setting of "sRBG IE61966-2.1", Procreate always changes it to "EPSON sRGB" or doesn't it matter?
Sir which iPad using....
You always amaze us. Cannot wait to try this one. 🙏
Thank you 🙏
What is you're paper size?
Hey mate! Sorry I haven’t been watching your posts as much I’ve been really busy w/ school lol, but now it’s summer so I have a lot of catching up to do ❤❤❤
Ah fantastic, this is a good place to start!
I do not see the option for physical width and height 🤔
It's there when you click to make a new canvas. Instead of choosing one already there, you click the plus icon on the top right to choose your own dimensions
@@fatimaalmoumen1221 thank you!
@@evonchristie2549 your welcome :)
Amazing as always!
Thank you 😊
