- For all my NVX guys and gals, I'm VERY impressed so far with everything other than the fact that my gain is MAXED out, I KNOW HOW TO SET GAIN, I UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS AND I NEVER JUST CRANK THE GAIN, BUT, IF U READ MY PREVIOUS POST, I EXPLAIN HOW I SETUP MY VOLUMES/GAINS/CROSSOVERS ETC, SO AN AMP THAT EASILY PUSHES 3K RMS ALL DAY IS PUSHING CRAZY POWER, ITS CRYSTAL CLEAR AND THE GAIN IS MAXED, I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY RADIO OR ITS DIFFERENT SETTING THAT IS NOT GIVING FULL SIGNAL OR SOMETHING.
DO THESE SUBS EAT 3K WATTS ON SPL COMPETITION MUSIC THIS EASILY?
U GUYS TELL ME, IS THIS THEM EATINF 1500RMS EACH N NO SMELL NO DISTORTION AND CRYSTAL CLEAR FOR MINUTES OF MUSIC??? IF SO... WOW THEYRE UNDER RATED!!

Your rca voltage is low. That amp at half gain should be hittin. Full gain gives you nothing but distortion . Just in my opinion.
Hey man I love nvx subs. I have 2 dvc at 4 ohms wired to 1 ohm and I have a pioneer head unit, hifonics crossover, massive audio E4 2000rms. And these things can take a beating. No distortion; however, check your crossover filters in your head unit. Make sure your lows are on 80z. I'm not sure if you can slope on your head unit but I have mine at 12 or 8. If you have speakers level in your head unit you can also put it on 10 for all of your speakers. I was wondering about that 2700. I had the first jad 1200 wired to 1 ohm on 1 dvc 4ohm vcw 12 and it slammed also. I will show you my set up
I had a similar problem like what you are having.the problem was the radio.you have to adjust the level of the source outputs.bring them up.
For example the radio should give you the option to adjust the level output for radio,Bluetooth and so on.if set too low it will put out too low of voltage to the rca.bring them up to get the 4 Volts from the source you want.
My man had the pink panther slappp. They look healthy. Any more x max and I’d worry about all day slap without the coils getting hot as fuck. K-9 unit!!!

Bro first off you have CCA power wires so you want to swap that out for OFC and you will likely gain a few hundred more watts of clean power...

i have 10 10" nvx vcw's on 2 VAD 2700.1s , it gets down
What is the amp tuned to ? I have the same amp and it's crazy at 2 ohms. my alt only gets up to 14 volts never over (240 amp). I may post a video when I get out to the car.
