I have a Dodge Dart GT and nothing special. Don't get me wrong I like it but I would never consider it fast or waste my money to make it faster. If I wanted a fast car I would just save my money and buy a fast car. I bought the Dart because it's stylish and gets good gas mileage.
Welcome to data HP and not ass to seat HP……… every one always thinks they got more power than they do Your boi right you want real numbers hit the dyno and get it tuned better
Never heard some one ever say that fwd cars don't loose a lot of power just because they are fwd. And it's the other way around. The dart with a 1.4 makes only a 186. And less too the wheels.
spencer matthews well no matter what car it is whp is always going to be less. But compare the percentage loss between a fwd and rwd. Rwd the power created needs to travel from the front of the car down the drive shaft and differential until it reaches the rear wheels. A stock hellcat makes 707 crank but on a dyno you'll see it makes about 613 wheels. Almost 100hp loss. I'm saying fwd isn't loosing that much.
Save the dyno money and buy a car that has an actual engine 😂 for real though you cracked me up. “Put it on the dyno.....I ain’t gonna put it on a dyno....that don’t make no sense” truer words have never been spoken bruh. 👊👍
There are darts with turbos and other mods that are making some pretty awesome numbers. I generally agree though, unless you have a turbo setup or something of that nature, no point in a dyno
I have the Dart GT. The car I owned before this one was a PT Cruiser Turbo 220 hp. That Cruiser was much faster and (in my opinion) more Stylish than the Dart. I would have bought it again if they didn't discontinue it. Yeah, the Dart is all show and no go, but it sounded good when it started up. Now both cars are history.
I've got a 2013 2ltr turbo aftermarket and it has 1 million hp! Well, actually around 260hp...

Well that’s exactly what I did

What engine would fit in place of the inline 4 2.4 turbocharged??
Its gonna cost you more than just buying a better car, been reading the forums for a while cuz I was wondering this for myself
Where did you get your hood?
Dealership
@@LamboDEB1 Good thing Google is always more help then RUclips.

My 2013 dart 1.4 ltr does o to 60 in 4.8. I bought it used and haven’t figured out what chip the previous owner used.
What’s the set up my g
230hp at the crank. They tell you hp at the wheels. I have the 2.4 so i get 184. We don't lose alot of horse since we're FWD
Patrick Martinez never heard that before
spencer matthews never heard what

It's true fwd losses less hp to wheels he's right it's simple physics the energy has to travel a way shorter distance in fwd.
Are you in Charleston,SC? Looks like your shoot/ meet was in mt. pleasant
Yeah
Lmao! Why you laughing, your cars not even running 😂 gottem.
Daayum!! 🤙😍
Where’d you get your hood from or the scoop?
+Quinton Lee scoop? It’s just the hood. Order through a friend through the dealership
LamboDEB I’m just now starting to mod my dart, and that hood is something I really want and the same exact spoiler you have(flexible)
+Quinton Lee mine is starting to come off. Im probably going to get a new one soon
Dodge says power to the wheels the obd scanner tool says power the engines making.
ron paul2069 it’s to the wheels. There’s a couple of stock darts on here making Ryno runs and getting a couple hp over the stated numbers
@@theronzonie the Ford ST models make more power than Ford says and put down to wheels almost their rated crank horse power
Man your Dart sounds beautiful how did you get it to sound like that?
It just did. Straight piped and CAI
@@LamboDEB1 CAI??
Cold air intake?
So I went back slow and it has 237 hp so ya sweet
LamboDEB whats that music
+DV Studios which one?
That first
DV Studios made for me forget who it’s by
dash commando is not very accurate.

I never heard of a turbo dart making over 220 without taking a shit
LamboDEB the stock dart 2.4 l makes 184 hp. I would assume with the right exhaust, cold air intake, headers alone might put it just over 200.
I’m talking about 1.4s
Music is repeatedly annoying lol

ResinRat2 you think a pt cruiser is stylish...
Pt's haven't aged well- they're silly looking; they're right up there with Hummer H2's in their absurdity. Don't get me started on their interiors....
@@Alan-tr5uj I’m not saying I like the design of the PT, but just like an expensive brew, the PT is an acquired taste, mostly loved by old souls.
My dart will smoke that cruiser all day
