I love restoring old things myself and I absolutely love the idea of restoring something unpractical just for the fun of it, it’s the experience and the practice that make it so much fun.
I think the regeneration of something old into something once again practical is what the future should look like. Yes it takes more time and effort to rebuild but you’re at least using old materials that would’ve otherwise been discarded. Not only that, to then replace it calls for the need of new materials which as we all know have their own environmental impacts. I’ve seen old metalwork machinery been refurbished and there’s something about that old to new look that just looks way more futuristic than if you had built it from straight up new metals. Things like this I think are quite misunderstood currently but hopefully will become important in the future 😊
Was in the comments typing out a question about the bees queen, and you answered it, so I quickly made a new queen question, and you answered it to! Love the video man
Absolutely brilliant work! I can't believe how genuinely intuitive some people are and how they can turn a rotted relic into a brand new thing! Right nice job there! And also 3:20 NO ROOT BEER. NOOOO
Quick question! Is there any way this box has lead paint or anything like that on it? Considering it is probably vintage, it could be dangerous to consume honey in the box if there is lead in it no?
Solid work! Ive been wanting to try beekeeping myself, but can’t as i live in a student home nowadays. After watching your vid i want to do it Even more! Such cool little creatures

they're super cool, I learn some crazy new thing about them every week. Hopefully you get the opportunity to keep them one day soon
Great video!
hey dude, just got into beekeeping, thanks for this video! I now know the minimum condition of a beehive that bees will accept!
Such an underrated creator, keep up the good work man!
Cheers man appreciate that :)
It'd be nice if the hive was re-painted white as it still has some previous white paint on it, other than that the hive looks fantastic!
You’re right that would work nicely and probably seal the wood a bit better too. Plus the white would prevent the sun from heating up the box too much
beautiful
“I’m not a bee expert” can’t say that anymore bud, you’re much farther along than 99% of the population. Good job.
Any tips on how to help bees living in our front porch light?
