Shelton, just admit with Keller I taught you my Football Slider in 2018 and this bad twilight zone karma will end... Glasnow was stuck in the Pirates bullpen with a great fastball, good curve and very little command, I taught him my football slider, the Rays noticed June 19 2018 vs Brewers and Glasnow messaged me on twitter 3 hours after the game. I taught my football slider, to Musgrove in May 2018, he just got released from Houston who didn't want him. I taught Taillon who didn't have a slider in May 2018. I taught Clay Holmes my football slider along with Kuhl, Crick and Trevor Williams. See a pattern?
Every year Derek Shelton begins the season with a short, classic styled beard. What most people either don't know or fail to realize is that whenever he makes a terrible coaching decision his beard gets slighty pointier. At this point in the season (no pun intended), he has to be able to cut glass with that thing.
Is it me or there's been an unusual amount of ejections lately lol :P

Mariners, Phillies, Pirates manager all got tossed today. The other two managers had a fair gripe but Shelton arguing a ball 4 way high outta the zone was just dumb.
The whole season has a lot of ejections. This was ejections 197,198 and 199. Normally that would be a total for a whole season.
Watch Brian Reynolds previous at bat. The strike zone expands when the Pirates are batting. Reynolds was called out on a pitch that was near a foot above the strike zone!

From what I’ve heard from pirates fans, they said that same pitch an inning earlier was called a strike so that’s why they were so upset
@@TheGamingRepublic Of course they didn't mention that the pitch to Reynolds was just barely out of the zone and one of those that could have been called either way but yes more likely a ball. What this video doesn't show is a couple of pitches before this was a similarly high pitch called a ball that Sheldon for some reason yelled something and the ump warned him to stop which he did. That pitch and this one in the video are both way high and not close to the Reynolds pitch. Kelly may or may not have said anything to be ejected but after he came out when realizing he was tossed he stayed out arguing over 5 minutes instead of leaving in a timely manner. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a game suspension.
I watched the metered game. Pirates coaches were mad bc that same pitch had been called a strike almost the entire game
Was at the game. Context matters here. Pirates were being called on strikes on all those pitches all night.
I don’t think the argument had anything to with the last pitch. It was clear the ump threw someone out right away.

It was a strike so the ump made a bad call. You can’t blame a coach for sticking up for his player against a cheating ump accident or not. It’s common sense guys. A strike in between the knees and shoulders and inside the box. That was clearly a strike. Fine the dirty ump or maybe even fire him.
