We definitely need a Jomboy breakdown and lip reading of this!!! 0:32 look at how this second ump just eases right in between them with that smug "you're done talking to him" grin😂
What on earth is up with that broadcast strike zone? Its bottom is below his knees and top is just above his waist once he assumes his hitting position. I wonder what the actual computer position is, because it sure looks close (just ignore the displayed box).
Watch Brian Reynolds previous at bat. The strike zone expands when the Pirates are batting. Reynolds was called out on a pitch that was near a foot above the strike zone!
Shelton, just admit with Keller I taught you my Football Slider in 2018 and this bad twilight zone karma will end... Glasnow was stuck in the Pirates bullpen with a great fastball, good curve and very little command, I taught him my football slider, the Rays noticed June 19 2018 vs Brewers and Glasnow messaged me on twitter 3 hours after the game. I taught my football slider, to Musgrove in May 2018, he just got released from Houston who didn't want him. I taught Taillon who didn't have a slider in May 2018. I taught Clay Holmes my football slider along with Kuhl, Crick and Trevor Williams. See a pattern?
Every year Derek Shelton begins the season with a short, classic styled beard. What most people either don't know or fail to realize is that whenever he makes a terrible coaching decision his beard gets slighty pointier. At this point in the season (no pun intended), he has to be able to cut glass with that thing.
Mariners, Phillies, Pirates manager all got tossed today. The other two managers had a fair gripe but Shelton arguing a ball 4 way high outta the zone was just dumb.
Yes. Yes Sir I'm wearing my contact lenses. They're brand new to me in fact. All clean and clear and everything. No Sir that strike zone is not fluctuating with each passing at bat for your team.
@@TheGamingRepublic Of course they didn't mention that the pitch to Reynolds was just barely out of the zone and one of those that could have been called either way but yes more likely a ball. What this video doesn't show is a couple of pitches before this was a similarly high pitch called a ball that Sheldon for some reason yelled something and the ump warned him to stop which he did. That pitch and this one in the video are both way high and not close to the Reynolds pitch. Kelly may or may not have said anything to be ejected but after he came out when realizing he was tossed he stayed out arguing over 5 minutes instead of leaving in a timely manner. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets a game suspension.
I don't mind that the ones that aggravate me is the one umpire who wants to stand in coaches faces like he's a tough guy bc he knows the manager can't just deck him one good time
It was a strike so the ump made a bad call. You can’t blame a coach for sticking up for his player against a cheating ump accident or not. It’s common sense guys. A strike in between the knees and shoulders and inside the box. That was clearly a strike. Fine the dirty ump or maybe even fire him.
@@user-ye7el2hh5git was a pitch getting called a strike to other batters, the issue was not with just this pitch, but rather the inconsistency of the call
how can they argue a call like that? they have a 3 sec delay monitor that they can see where the pitch was!? am I wrong? if I am, my bad... but that was clearly up for ball 4! Really dumb to argue that.

Jomboy is going to be all over this
SO IS YOUR MOMMA
😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
I can't wait😂
Close call sports probably had one up before th egame finished :D
Pitch was clearly a ball.
He was mad because Bryan reynolds was called out on strikes on a pitch higher

Is it me or there's been an unusual amount of ejections lately lol :P
IT'S JUST YOU
Mariners, Phillies, Pirates manager all got tossed today. The other two managers had a fair gripe but Shelton arguing a ball 4 way high outta the zone was just dumb.
The whole season has a lot of ejections. This was ejections 197,198 and 199. Normally that would be a total for a whole season.
Adult men acting like 6 year olds
Grays?? Is that a new franchise?
Sorry, I’ve been so out of touch with baseball over the years.
Not sure thought I was watching wrong video😅
I like to skip the regular season and fast forward to the playoffs.
Regular season is soooo 😴💤.
So are the playoffs
This only shows manager and one coach tossed
It's More Fun To Compute: Managers will really have nothing to do when the home plate umpire becomes automated.
They'll still yell at the human and get thrown out.
The boy's look like F.B.I tonight 😂in all black
That ball was obviously a ball 😂😂😂
And Reynolds got rung up on the same pitch the inning before. Stick to football 😂😂😂😂😂

I don’t think the argument had anything to with the last pitch. It was clear the ump threw someone out right away.
don kelly will be our next coach
I may not know a lot of baseball but that was clearly a ball . 😂 he throw it way up not even close to the central mark haha 😆
From what I’ve heard from pirates fans, they said that same pitch an inning earlier was called a strike so that’s why they were so upset

I watched the metered game. Pirates coaches were mad bc that same pitch had been called a strike almost the entire game
Was at the game. Context matters here. Pirates were being called on strikes on all those pitches all night.
This is nothing new 😭😭
I dont get why he lost it over that call.... high and tight, ball 4....
He was calling that pitch a strike all night and it was strike 3 on a pirate the inning before this
the umpires been bsn all day they did this to the phillies too
Go Reds
Umps are out of control
Coaches and players are out of control. That was a ball. Nothing worth arguing over.
Umps getting crazy with the ejections
I don't mind that the ones that aggravate me is the one umpire who wants to stand in coaches faces like he's a tough guy bc he knows the manager can't just deck him one good time
Players, Coaches, Managers being STUPID
Ummm not sure what there bitching about that’s clearly a ball
He called a few pirates out on that exact same pitch all game. Then it's suddenly a ball
It is a ball. Prob was it had been called a strike almost all game
Crybabies. They hold up the game for nothing
Ah, Derek Shelton being Derek Shelton - whiny pissy and wrong - what else is not new?
Umps will be gone in 5 years
No. The home plate one’s ball strike duties will
Umps in majors and LLWS are both garbage right now sad day for baseball😢
Right now? They have always been garbage. In all and any sport they suck
Baseball is lame

That was a ball weirdo…. It was high .

That pitch is clearly a ball but he had been calling that a strike most of the game. That was the issue
What the heck
this sport is a joke
Umps got this one right. Not like in Philly.
Not even close to the full story was shown in this video
Lol y’all need to wake up. The bad calls are all because of gambling
Who cares. Pirates and Shelton irrelevant
Baseball is boring
Especially in Pittsburgh

Bryan reynolds and a couple other pirates were called out in the same pitch. The problem is the owner
