You could improve the performance even more by tuning the gearbox. It should ideally be on a downward slope at the end, so you don't have a lot of performance at the red. That's why you get the weird gearing. Love the channel
Great video as always brother 👍🏻I got the nissan dlc pack yesterday and bought a GTR (R35) at auction and spent all last night getting every part to 100% and added all performance mods to the engine and as a result I'm running 850HP and the car tops out at 230mph! But I'm now thinking I might do 3* on all mods as I have 7k scrap and I've never done it and the car is currently worth 200k 😱 If you want make a lot a profit get a lambo from a barn I've sold 2 plus all my other builds I have nearly 1 million in credits 😅
The stars are only worth it, in my opinion, if you are making some special car for yourself. Like right niow I'm making myself a 3 ☆ souped up Firebird. As a personal project, it's fun to do .... Once in a long while 🤪
Gotta admit, the scrap parts are hard to get. Havent managed to get myself to just grind them :p Money isnt too hard and neither are levels but mad props to ya for doing these videos on upgraded parts :)
Ive cleaned out the junk yard 4 or 5 times now cost me anywhere from 16k to 20k and i end up somewhere around 1800 to 2100 scrap currently building a full 3 star nissan Silvia s15

I am loving the new car mechanic simulator 2021 I am, but the scrap feature is pure trash. Literally adds next to nothing to the game, its kinda hard to come up with a reason to do it. It only makes sense if you are going to keep the car it seems, or if you just have a bit of scrap at hand for a ("few") extra bucks. Nonetheless great episode and a classic piece of filming greatness. Thanks Diesel I really appreciate the effort you put in to show what value scraping adds. It was obviously a major migraine, so thanks again and have a great day! FYI: If you ever need more parts or scraps for the DeLorean, I think there was a few parts lying around the towns railroad tracks ;-)

Heh, I threw one of these together and its an absolute mishmash of parts. Widebody carbon body panels, except the bumper is the RP1 movie version, tinted windows, BTTF II body parts otherwise, super big slick tyres, it came with a V8 since the chassis is the "Widebody" one, so I swapped the AXK to the Supercharged one with all the 3-star performance parts (its entirely 3-star and of course I was in creative mode I ain't spending 20 hours to get scrap and money for that XD) and it made just over 1500 herspers. I hit _388 mph,_ that's like... going through time 3 times in a row!
Do you think they need to come out with apholstery DLC. For Seats, and steering wheels. You buy seats, glass, headlights, tail lights and steering wheels. But you can't do anything with, but Scrap them. Other then putting them in someone's car. Usually it has to be new. This defeat's not having apholstery for Seats and steering wheels. In the Real world they restore headlights and tail lights. You should be able to restore them. With everything needing to be Scrapped at below 15%.
Yes I agree you see on the restoration shows that is a big deal the interiors as well silly just buying the parts and using the welder to improve it and the frame. Plus I wish they had the choice to upgrade rear drums to disc brakes and had vehicles with drums all the way around and can paint the drums.
I'm on ps and I see all the cool mod cars you can fix makes me just not want to play the console game,they even took away the 68 charger which was my favorite car in the game.
So a quick question for the achievement on steam to flip cars is this how you do that to get it. I just started and haven't bought any yet so Im just wondering.
Honestly just seems like upgrading with scrap is so garbage that there's no point to ever do it unless you just have enough scrap to max it out in one go due to passive gain of just doing other shit
They need to let us open the petrol station so we can earn a little more money what's the point of having it if you can't use it for you customers by filling the tank up as well
Why dont you put the game in console mode. THen you dont need to move the curser to every bolt. It just selects the bolt and you just hold the screw button.
They need to give us a way to display the cars we decide to keep. Otherwise whats the point. Especially the DLC. Why bother wasting $ on it if all youre doing is fixing peoples cars and sending them on their way, or fixing one and putting it in a storage bay. Just dont see the point. Otherwise the game is okay.
I agree, it would be cool if this was an extended mode in an open world game where you could rescue cars,restore them and driving them in a gta kind of atmosphere!

they need to release an update so we can scrap groups of 10 or 20 parts to make it a lot easier and less tedious, doing it part by part is so annoying

Maybe they will come in form of a dlc. I play on ps4 and with cms2018 they also come in form of a dlc.
That was from the Dodge DLC tho, you'll need to wait for the devs to release some dlcs for this game

I’m using a mod so I can change the amount of scrap per part and it rebalances the scrapping so much it’s worth it now
