Hey Sam, thanks to your lydd track guide that you uploaded onto the channel, I’ve raced there a couple times and used the video to help with braking as that’s what I mainly struggle with and slowing the kart down due to my driving style. I finished 2nd, 4th and 9th in my heats and qualified 16th, for my first ever A final!

@@joecraddock6542 Hi Joe!, i was observing the sprints for the lightweights (on back straight) and I saw you led a lot of the first heat you raced in. Till Miles caught you near the end! Well done for the first A Final (apart from the finish I guess!)
I’m glad you think my guide has helped you. I need to make one for Llandow but I go on Holiday next week so I may not get a chance!

@@Wolemid it was a great first heat I thought I managed it really well and really enjoyed it. Yeah the A final didn’t turn out great but to be honest it was my fault and I apologised to Dave after the race, he was struggling with his kart and I was behind him for a couple laps and got desperate. Probably shouldn’t have but my dad said he would’ve rather I went for it than stayed behind, not sure on your opinions about it?

I regularly say to my son that id rather watch him crash trying to overtake than sit behind a slower driver for the race

The driver who spun out- that’s a genuine mistake. A lot of newbies do that. As someone who’s actually showing us the rights and wrongs of karting, you could have been understanding of that and be more patient instead of berating him over and again with your hand gestures.

Had the same issue. A guy saw me and spun out trying to get flat out the corner, ended up completely blocking the pass and I hit him at full speed in the front...

@@Zack_knifed thanks for the comment. The original hand movement during the spin process was actually me trying to signal I was slowing down. I then hold wheel again cause I have to change directions quickly. The other hand gestures were actually me being surprised by what I had seen, reactions as ‘How, Why? Did you see that?’ I understand it may be portrayed on how you described, but it genuinely wasn’t. I actually did mention on how the driver could of saved what was happening. But it wasn’t me ribbing the driver. If the driver is yourself, or whoever else who may read this, then contact me privately and I’ll sort something out as an apology.

I was in that test session and the speed you two pulled away from me when you went past was unreal. Do you know of anywhere I can get tuition/review telemetry to work out where the time is missing please because I feel like I'm plateauing?

Most of us Club100 Test drivers do Tuition, so it would be a case of choosing who’s the most suitable.
I am the only one who offers data feedback via the Alfano
