blue shell dodges at the end of the race are such a good feeling
ong even tho its muscle memory, it hits EVERY time

Sometimes when I bag on a bagging track I get REALLY far behind, and I start to doubt. Then I end up making the comeback and getting first place, and I tell myself to trust the process. And then I go and doubt the process again next time. It’s a neverending cycle

On some tracks it's ok to be behind 10 or 20 seconds just make sure you don't take way to long
Knowing the acceptable distance is a key skill, since being farther back gives better items!

baby park is one of the strongest baggers because a shock is almost garunteed after lap 4!

You cant wait too long in the same position. If you go backwards for coins, you have to be pretty fast. Its perfectly fine to go forward for coins as well, i just think its funnier to go backwards

tbh bagging being broken is just a feature at this point...
bagging is only really broken on a select few tracks (cheese land being the obvious example)
Otherwise its a fine strategy that varies heavily from "very strong" to "extremely weak" based on the track
How to be better at bagging?
Do what he does in his wiggler Inkstriker video and bag on every track you get

Hey are there any tracks where you do not want to bag? Bagging is very strong, but normal racing must be good sometimes.
Bagging has varying effectiveness. Tracks without huge shortcuts are not good for bagging, such as waluigi pinball, sunshine airport, mount wario, and honestly most tracks in the game favor running over bagging.

I’m a bit confused, how did he dodge the blue shell?
If you boost with a mushroom at the same time as you get hit with a blue shell, you dodge it.
The timing is pretty close, but a good way to dodge it is to use a mushroom as the blue shell is going down

Yeah. Using a well timed mushroom you can dodge it. Or an easier way is using the horn which you can rarely get in first place. You could also use a star or boo to become invincible but that's difficult to get in first place.
How did you know that someone has a shock?
He saw it in their hand. One of those things you have to be paying really close attention to see.

This doesn't look like bagging, it looks like you're just using your items effectively.
That's the secret. It's just getting good items in a low spot, and then knowing how to best use them to make a comeback. Sometimes that's easy, and sometimes that's hard.

He dropped from a 2nd place starting position to last at the very start of the race, explicitly to bag. It's why he's in 10th in this very clip. So don't throw out baseless accusations about clickbait and misleading viewers.

You gotta get op items in last and use them strategically you cant just spam and hope it works

Item pulls by being farther back and using Buu, u can literally bag on any track and it can be produced way better results than just front running
@@t.o.a.s.t.e.r the Items you get are entirely luck based you could get a shock and just pass everyone up with a single Shock like not much strategy needed people use stars alike mushrooms and use boo to steal more Op Items that's why u see a group of people all with OP items like most skill bagging needs is taking shortcuts to make it up the difference if the leading person doesn't also take the shortcuts so separating the actual driving skills needed for both Bagging takes no skill.
