Although I don't posses your materials or skill I enjoyed this post and appreciate your taking the time to share your technique and and thoughts. Thank you. I liked and subbed.
Amazing work dear Paul. Absolutely inspiring! Thanks for your fine craft art and humbleness to share your knowledge. Greetings from Chile.
You are an artist and a paradigm of patience, Paul. Average modelers such as myself groan at the thought of filling and sanding, but you seem to genuinely relish it. The Invader is a favorite, so this series has been a treat. Many thanks!
Very good explanations! You do a very nice job! Also nice to see the A-26 "Hard to get". I flew it from the USA to Holland as a technician in 1999. Great plane!
Excellent video!
Your attention to detail is inspiring.
Great video and a lot of help
Excellent video ! So many tips.... thank you for sharing your knowledge
Fantastic build video! I love the how-to coupled with the why-to.
Your work is truly amazing. I love all your videos and just saw this one. Thank you for taking the time to share your methods
Thank you so much for sharing those very useful techniques, Paul. Excellent explanations throughout!
Very well done video. I will reference it when I build my A-26!
REALLY helpful and informative - thank you!
Some great observations. Glad I found your channel. Subscribed!
Awesome intro! Love the vid. Keep 'em coming!
I like this format.
Hi, Paul!Excellent tutorial, once again (and your voice's so soothing). Will try out the CA+Dental Acrylic technique, as well as the Apoxie Clay.Have a great New Year's Eve, my mate!Cheers
So enjoyed it brother. Seriously thinking about picking up my scalpel and cyano again!
Simply amazing!
I always look forward to your videos as there is usually some technique to latch on to. The construction of the fillet is absolutely something I'm going to be using. I've been doing these with thin styrene sheet to mediocre results, this is much more effective.
Maestro! Amazing work!
Nice to see you paying homage here. I have your channel, and this one and David's Plasmo fantasyland as inspiration. Each of you are nice to watch, but I have to say that what I've learned is that that there's no such thing as overkill. Even if you can't really see how much work you have done. I wish you all well, and hope you all make models - and make videos of your builds - for a long time to come. God bless you all.
Rewelacyjny materiał! Pozdrowienia z Polski!
And Hello from the US!
hi I just came along your channel and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
man those were the days building models they used to be so cheap i used to buy more than one at a time
Yeah
Pretty sweet!
Thank. Keep up the posts.
Fantástico!!
My monograms were B25 and B26, but were balsa except for plastic canopy , engine nacelle fronts, props, wheels, geaar struts . I believe they were called Monogram Speede Built. There were also a series of fighters, F86, F6F, F4U all basically the same.
I lived in Westchester, Ill and around 1954 four F86D`s flew over at around 500 feet in V formation. They probably were based at O Hare Field which was nearly all USAF and little commercial at the time. How things change.
Fantastic video! The skill and thoughtfulness you bring to your modeling projects is incredible. Equally impressive and enjoyable is the production quality of your videos. It would be wonderful if you did a "behind the scenes" video summarizing the production of one of your videos ... the design process, equipment used, video editing software used, etc. May I ask which video editing program you use?
Thank you Rick ... I really appreciate you noticing those elements ... while I like seeing the results, it takes a pretty good amount of time and effort. The software that I'm using using is Adobe Premiere Pro .
Great video. Love the detail. How did you cut the fuselage?
Pauly B! Another great video mate. Probably one of your best to be honest. One thing I would love more instruction on is your dental acrylic and CA mixture. I have some of it at home as I was inspired by your other video. How long are you waiting before you start sanding and filing? Also when do you remove the tape? Before it hardens?
Thanks again!
Also I have been trying for the life of me to get a hold of the clear orthodontic powder you use in your hawker typhoon canopy video. But every place denies the purchase saying I am not qualified? I guess I have to walk into an orthodontists office and get them to order it for me?
Another thing is that your reply to my comment doesn't show up here underneath the video.
Oh and yet another thing...the only terrible thing about your videos is that we all have to wait so bloody long for the next one! Its like bloody Game of Thrones! ;)
cheers!
this will be very interesting build
hi paul, what happen with your channel before? so many great tips & information you remove (deleted). that video is very good and usefull for newbie like me :(
will you upload it again?
Galactus ... I am redoing most of them ... a lot of them needed revision... they will be back as I get each one done ... if you are subscribed to the new channel you should get notified... Thank you for checking.
Jan. 12, 2021----Okay guys....how many of us have said the same thing: been wanting to build this kit since I bought it a long time ago? Me? How about starting in 1974 when I started building models.
Paul Budzik you could have scratch built a better model quicker than messing with those worthless kits. Its obviously you have the talents to do so!
But building something from scratch is not as accessible for most modelers and this is a good way to introduce some of the techniques and approaches necessary for more advanced modeling projects.
Too bad the solid nose version is goofed up. Needs a lot of putty to get it right.
It's always better if they get it right, but I don't think what I've done is that involved ... It certainly wouldn't keep me away from building it.
Just between us, where did you get that print of the sailing vessel positioned behind you. They had one on the wall at a local Long John Silvers restaurant. Is there a name for it. Would like to find one for myself. bill.
