under the crown and honestly maybe the cover artist hated this book just as much as everyone else will 😭😂
It feels like a lot of traditional fantasy covers. It gives nothing of the story, and could easily apply to any book. I'd love to see covers reflect the books again.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hated it. I wrote a whole 3000 word goodreads review because I'm so annoyed at the author for making virtually no improvements from lightlark. It's too bad nobody is talking about it on RUclips because I think people need to know the consequences of giving a new author an ego boost with TikTok cause her comments are always hyping her up. This video was super fun to watch, I cackled the whole time!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. She improved a bit. My review this time actually had a like section.
@talexratcliffe I'll say the writing improved (how she didn't try to make egg metaphors) and how you said the transitions improved but I definitely found it to be more hollow than lightlark. Lightlark had a concept (a bad one), but I'd argue that this one unfortunately barely did.

@@talexratcliffe sometimes I get so mad that books with such obvious problems get trad pub'd. Then, I remember, publishing companies are in the business of selling books, not making art. From what I've heard, the author has some talent, it's a shame they have not been given the opportunity or advice to grow.
