@PolePositionF1P1 I think its bonkers. But there's no denying the money he brings to the team. And that's the only reason he is still there. I think he will last the next four races, and then they'll slot Lawson into the RBs so they can secure him and put Daniel in with Max apparently Max wants Daniel back in the team so that then keeps everyone happy till the end of the year and then the next dilemma begins. That's my tip and it should all happen just before the end of Sep.

I think over the summer break they will bin Perez then Danny Rick to RedBull which will open the door for Liam Lawson to go to RB. Lets see.
"Riccardo has consistently outperformed Yuki in 5 of last 6 races" i guess you meant in qualifying. And even then, it's 4 times per 6 races, not 5. And I don't believe that this metric gives a real picture of RICs performance, which wasn't that stellar given the huge difference I experience between him and Yuki. With his experience he should be anihilating Youki in the time table every single time, and it's not the case. Yes, he seemed A BIT on top lately but I would expect a lot more given his experience and hype behind him.
You ignore the fact that Yuki is quick, because the general racist attitude blows him off... He's not respected enough

I heard the 'test day' or 'filming day' taking place on Wednesday with Lawson and Riccardo is going to be in the 2022 Alpha Tauri not the 2024 RB20...
Ricciardo should not have left RB in a huff. He never performed well after that.

If its a choice between Perez and Ricardo only I think its better to keep Perez although he isn’t exactly shining but on the other hand Ricardo has not shown anything special since years

Does anyone truthfully believe Daniel has set a driving standard to deserve this promotion? Sadly Dan is not the driver that sulked off to Renault.

Hang on so what is your suggestion then? put Liam Lawson in there with no experience in that team up against the best driver in Formula One at the moment. What do you think that would do to Lawsons career. At least Daniel Ricardo has been in that team. He knows most of the engineers he can play the role that is required of him for the constructors title which in turn gives everybody in that team a payday. I don't have any skin in the game here one way or the other, but what you're suggesting just hasn't considered all of the circumstances in making that decision.
Ok so the RBR car is actually suited to DR driving style which is why he is soo keen to get back there. He would hardly want to put himself in a bigger stage if he thought he would not perform. Checo is not happy in the RBR as it does not suit his driving style. Also Liam Lawson, this guy seems to get a lot of press but he has not performed anywhere yet. He did not win one race in F2 and only scored 2 points. If DR is to be replaced there are lots of other young drivers who are much better than Lawson.
