I am a ptv school teacher working since the age of 21... Now m 30... Though I don't earn much but m satisfied cz teaching is such job which gives you respect plus tym for ur family... 9 to 3 job is best for someone who has to manage the household work as well..

Though started as a good video, I would like to differ, that if the girl gets married early in her carrier, before settling her foot into the career, and earning too else getting married to a high salaried guy, it is very likely that the money she brings into the family would mean nothing, and they would show her the pros to leave the job, once she has left the job, there are chances that she gets exploited at every level. There is an age to set your foundation in your career that is between 24-30, once this age is gone it never comes back. You cannot do the same do that at the age of 35 or 40 once you realize your mistake or life take an untoward turn. In technology-oriented jobs you need to update yourself technologically everyday, out of the market even for a year means you cannot go back there again it can be very very difficult and you would be exploited to the fullest if at all anyone gives a chance

Lately, we had PhD entrance exams in our university. There were a lot of female candidates of age 40 and higher willing to do PhD and do better salaried jobs in the future. The problem was that they spent last 10-15 years raising up kids. They could not answer a single technical question. Honestly, we had to reject all of them. Not a single female was selected. My heart ached for them. They really were interested and travelled from long distances but technology is advancing so quickly that it takes only a little time to become outdated. They had done their BTechs 10-15 years back and then became busy with the family, settling with a low income job. Wouldn't it be better if they spent some more time right after their BTech/MTech, got a fulfilling job sustainable for lifetime and then marry. Particularly, if any child want to be a doctor/doctorate, it will take a significant time of their youth. That is a discussion for debate whether we need more doctors and scientists. If yes, and if we want female doctors and scientists, I guess marrying at 23/24 ain't going to happen.

Yes, it is happening, though in rare cases. I know 2 friends of mine who moved abroad for their higher education and their husbands relocated for them and searched a job there. I am not in touch with them so can't comment if they are happy or not. But both the girls are publishing world class papers. After completing my education and looking for a partner, this was the biggest issue for me. My community is quite conventional and I was clearly told that no boy will relocate for me. By God's grace, I married in another caste with an old friend, with same educational qualification. We both left our jobs and searched a new job together in a new city. Males are changing for better and are taking lead for their wives. The world is changing.

Har ladki to apna carrer decide karne ka pura haq hai. Hume shadi karni hai baccha karna hai ye soch kar carrer compromise nahi kar sakte.

U picked very relevant social issue, related to every family. Pls throw more light, by making more videos on this issue. My daughter is all set to become excellent PGT (in a Natural Science subject). But it is very painful to see that even reputed schools are offering start of just Rs.35K, to brilliant Freshers, who have undergone 7 year study after schooling. However, she may expect good alliance proposals, as High School Teacher is a preferred category.

Doctors have a different life altogether. They are exceptional. Being a full fledged doctor including MBBS and a PG degree will take 10 years of your life that too needing full focus and effort. My elder brother is MS in ENT. Even being a male, his journey has been full of struggles. Doctors sacrifice their sleep, hunger, leisure time & sometimes life [COVID time] everything for their patients. Being a female doctor, in my opinion is one of the toughest profession. I think that the prospects being discussed in the videos are in general and not applicable to a few outstanding individuals who are way too firm about who they want to be.

More I watch the marriage series videos... more the risk/reward of getting invested into the idea of a traditional family is becoming clear to me... and sadly my conclusions are going more against the thesis of a traditional marriage and family than I previously had... I guess you would need to up the fomo quotient and turn down the clarity quotient a bit... Too much clarity is becoming a bit counterproductive, atleast for me... This comment is on the marriage series and not just this video.

    - Girls who were earning 20k to 30k had an attitude of a celebrity.
    - Girls who were only earning 50-70k had an attitude of princess with feminist values.
    - Girls with 1lac+ package were talking like they're rare species or some kind of angels.
