Hello and good job on the review. I've been cutting my own hair for the last 25 or more years at home and thought hmm this would be a nice addition to my setup. I just got the product today and to be honest with you I'm not too impressed. 1) If you were to drop it or it happen to fall down your going to have a safety issue with all the glass all over the place. 2) doesn't fit on door and 3) it doesn't hang on to your bathroom vanity and 4 lol! You still need a mirror to see the back of your complete head and not just a section. I've been using a 2 dollar mirror from the dollar store and it works cherry lol. Also how I over came the bathroom vanity issue is I got a half inch by half inch by 7 inch piece of wood. I put on Velcro on one side and laid a piece of Velcro on bathroom vanity and walllla! Doesn't move and stays in place... Till next time😊
All fair points. My biggest gripe is not truly having a perfect view of the back of my head. But I haven't been able to get that with any setup. Also if I could rig mine to hang on the vanity like you're saying it would make the lighting situation a lot more pleasant so maybe I'll think about that. Thanks for the idea!
Solid review. He mentions things I noticed but didnt mind at first. Its pretty hard to close the door when you hang it, as well as the telescoping door hook could be made sturdier. Overall, it proved to be useful as I gave myself a decent haircut. Will get better next time and so on..
Yeah I was totally imagining being able to close the door when I bought it so it's a small let down. Doesn't ruin the product but it's slightly annoying. Thanks for watching :)
Nice video! So, my current setup is not turrible, been using it for years. The main bathroom mirror, then I have one of those cheap long $7 mirrors I place on like a small table on the opposite wall, and turn it as I need. With this setup, I can see the back of my head fine, just need to adjust the angle occasionally. My issue (and reason I'm watching all these types of videos) is that my secondary mirror is very far away, like 5ft bathroom distance away. It works, but its just hard to see. I like that these 360 mirrors are close together, and I could see better. You mention it in your video, but just wondering if you can clearly see the back of your head. Or is it basically that you can only see like almost the back of your head at an angle? Thanks.
I would say I'm like 99% satisfied with what I can see, but I wouldn't call it perfect. I don't know how you would get a totally square view of the back of your head without a camera pointed at it and displayed on a screen or something. I think it's a closer up view than if the second mirror were 5 feet away which is an advantage of this setup. My main issue is the lighting in my bathroom is asymmetrical so when I turn my head one direction I can see much better than the other. The built in mirror lighting is decent but not as good as my overhead lights. If anything I might invest in another light so I can really see what I'm doing. I think that would help if you're doing really fine fades.
Thank you so much 😂this is me planing to get it so I could braid my hair myself lol. And decided to check on how to used it first 😅 I'm convinced to buy it but leaving my door open while using it 😂😂😂 i mean everyone is gonna know I'm braiding my hair 😩😩😩😩😂 great video. I was born to subscribe 🤣 ok in case there's another way help us mannn😅
There's slots in the back of the mirror that I think you would mount on the hooks. As far as getting the hooks in your wall... if memory serves there were metal pins that look like they would slide right in your dry wall. Although the mirror is a bit heavy so I'd be careful when mounting. If you really wanted it on a stud good luck, because the hooks won't be spaced far enough apart to each get one. I hope that helps, thanks for watching :)
I think the metal pins are meant to be hammered into the wall. So what's left is a plastic hook on the wall for you to mount the mirrors to. Just my guess, I haven't used them.
I know, this is a really hard problem to solve. I think the only real solution is a camera behind you and a video-feed to a screen in front of you... A bit contrived at that point and you start to wonder if you should just go to the barber... :) Maybe there's a market for a new product there!
IDK could just be a defective unit. I've had many hours of LED time over the many months I've used this thing. If you can try to return/exchange the product! Thanks for watching!

Wow that is some *crispy* audio quality
Lol I hope that's a good thing. Thanks for watching and have a great day!
@@TyDollarive learned over the years that the audio is more important than the video. Good review.
Thankyou for the honest review 🤜🤛
You're very welcome, thanks for watching! :)
I threw on some clear Velcro on back of door strips on back of door!
Oooooo great idea thanks for sharing!
Great vid. Its definitely implied that u can close the door; similar products have thinner hooks

@@TyDollar Nice, ok, thanks! This is helping me greatly in my decision.

What’s with the extra wall hooks and how would you attach them? Thx dude!

Good video bro!
Thanks I appreciate it! Have a good one!
Min 1:35 what are those white hooks for?

it doesnt show the back of your head it seems - why is there nothing that shows full back of head and symmetric

They use to be like $150 now they are down to $40
Is that so? Honestly I'd never pay that high a price for this thing...
@TyDollar Me either that's why I never bought it but now that it's only $40 I got my 1
I have the no led it was $25 but used a Braun 750 lumen magnetic light that I stuck on the door hinge.
It’s a pos. The led went out on men after a week
IDK could just be a defective unit. I've had many hours of LED time over the many months I've used this thing. If you can try to return/exchange the product! Thanks for watching!
How can I turn off the led?
You tap the power symbol with your finger. It’s not really a button but it senses your finger. Thanks for watching (:
@@TyDollar thank u so much, just one more question If I can, do you know how I can use hooks to attach the mirror to the wall?
@@flack9254 The hooks come with pins so you can nail them to the wall!
I just buy one of this mirror, in the instruction sais he have a LED but there is nothing in there 🥲
Oh no that's not good... maybe they mistakenly sent the wrong version. The LED version probably costs more. Did you double check what you ordered?
@TyDollar i think there are a mistake
