    I have one for about a month now and it's really good if you want a home haircut that's free by your Mrs, but nothing beats a skilled barber.

    I bought this to cut my son's hair , it's ok but yes does not completely blend the line . I really wanted it to work because haircuts are so expensive. But I agree does not even compare to a skilled barber . Might use during summer break and back to the barber during school or special events.

    surely it can blend down to a bald fade
    use a 1 1/2 guard to set the guideline for the blend frend and then drop down to a 1 just under that guideline and then drop down to a 0.5 then eventually bald underneath that using lever play inbetween that right?

  • @BeautyAndHerBeasts
    @BeautyAndHerBeasts Год назад +9

    Nah. Too Gimicky. And what if you have to blend lower than a 1? I think its more for people that want to try and do they're own hair. Maybe if it was adjustable? But Nah, Im old school, give me flat comb, and Ill clipper over comb it all day! (Lol, I just watched your final thoughts and you said pretty much the same things) 💯

    im a barber from TX and i heard about this comb so i wanted to try it out and see what the hype was all about its ok i guess tbh i still use it but only to get people out the dooor quicker just like you said time is money. but dont think i leave my clients looking like a blendfrend themselves so after im done using the blend i go in a polish all the imperfections overall it cut down my time to cut to about 15-20 mins depending on how much hair they got and what the client wants. i rate this product a crisp 6/10

      @@t0nyT So after my first time using it I would say that it can definitely replace the scissor over comb. However there is definitely a learning curve. Being right handed, it was pretty simple tackling the right side of my head and the back. (Holding comb w/ left and clipper w/ right) The fade came out pretty good given that its my first time using it.
      The hard part is using cutting the left side of my head since the comb is for holding with left hand(the left side came out not so great unfortunately). I was holding it by the guard part with my right hand when working on the left side, so that will definitely take like 2/3 tries to get used to.
      Need to be patient with it since the teeth are wiggly and not applied even pressure w/clipper can leave it uneven-ish fade(if it were stiff it would be easier to use). I taped off the area that starts at #2 so i wouldn't accidentally cut it shorter. It can maybe sometimes leave a soft line(depending on angle) but its easy to get rid of with scissor/shears since its not a hard line. Overall it seems to do the job, just need practice with it.
