It seems like you are the only barber on RUclips that gives an honest review, all the other barber channels automatically trash any product that threatens they income,
Can you review the fadify 2.0 clippers👍
I have one for about a month now and it's really good if you want a home haircut that's free by your Mrs, but nothing beats a skilled barber.
I bought this to cut my son's hair , it's ok but yes does not completely blend the line . I really wanted it to work because haircuts are so expensive. But I agree does not even compare to a skilled barber . Might use during summer break and back to the barber during school or special events.
Thanks for the review. Definitely helpful. Might consider getting to help me blend quicker and easier on my boys hair. I’m definitely no pro 😅. But I live in a rural area where a pro isn’t really an option.
I don’t know why barber trying to make this product about themselves lol it’s clearly for at home haircut, you think we going to be paying y’all 100 bucks or whatever ridiculous price some of y’all claiming for you to use this LMFAO this is clearly so people don’t have to pay your prices
Donde cobran 100 dólares, jajaja en Texas se cobra 25 y la gente lo considera caro
@@gafiga4985aquí en Chicago cobran 50 dollars
Orita estoy haciendo en la casa y ahorro dinero y tiempo
Maybe they want use it to cut down time (fading) for their customers. And idk where you’re getting 100$ haircuts😂
@@ModestCube100$100 is believable, I have to pay $50 for a BASIC cut.
Cara qual é problema não vejo nada nada de mais em ter um ferramenta que vai facilitar o serviço do cara aí não quer pagar pelo serviço compra uma e corta vc msm
I'll tell you what I bought this together with the fade guide band and I gotta tell you I cut my own and my son's and we loke dope AF and we don't go pay them high price cuts now I love it.
Is the band you have a blue one off Amazon that says “Fade Guide” on it? I was looking at some online and trying to figure out which one is best.
@@SJ-qf4mj that's the one
Are you one of those that shave sh!tty looking hairlines on the forehead too?
How do you cut your own hair using this? Is there a video?
@@gyte718 I use the mirror it's very easy to use
finally an honest barber, pros and con's 🤝
surely it can blend down to a bald fade
use a 1 1/2 guard to set the guideline for the blend frend and then drop down to a 1 just under that guideline and then drop down to a 0.5 then eventually bald underneath that using lever play inbetween that right?
Nah. Too Gimicky. And what if you have to blend lower than a 1? I think its more for people that want to try and do they're own hair. Maybe if it was adjustable? But Nah, Im old school, give me flat comb, and Ill clipper over comb it all day! (Lol, I just watched your final thoughts and you said pretty much the same things) 💯
im a barber from TX and i heard about this comb so i wanted to try it out and see what the hype was all about its ok i guess tbh i still use it but only to get people out the dooor quicker just like you said time is money. but dont think i leave my clients looking like a blendfrend themselves so after im done using the blend i go in a polish all the imperfections overall it cut down my time to cut to about 15-20 mins depending on how much hair they got and what the client wants. i rate this product a crisp 6/10
Some clients will walk out immediately if they see you using that lol
Great for at home or if haircuts are too expensive for the individual.
i read somewhere you have to do a 1 1/2 instead of 1 to set the first guideline.
Excellent review. I had this fade comb for over a year, and I agree with ALL of your pros and cons.
Do they make a right handed version?
It works great with a no1 guard first to set the line
Does it with black hair texture?
It works It just takes practice,if your really good with clipper over comb, this just gets the majority of the work done without the need for using 2 and 3
this product is great if used properly. its more of a detailing tool for fading. i wouldn't try to start and end the fade with it. it gets heavy use on my end. start with guards then detail with blend friend
They should make one which starts with a longer length, so not a number one but like a 2 or 3
I do self cuts and can do a #0-2 fade. I just struggle with blending the #2 to a #10 on top with clipper over comb so I'll definitely give this a try.
Have you tried it?
@@t0nyT I'll be trying it tomorrow, did take a while to ship
@@itzcrazy8273 please let me know. I also do skin to #2 but to number 12 (combover fade). I already bought it but still waiting.
@@t0nyT So after my first time using it I would say that it can definitely replace the scissor over comb. However there is definitely a learning curve. Being right handed, it was pretty simple tackling the right side of my head and the back. (Holding comb w/ left and clipper w/ right) The fade came out pretty good given that its my first time using it.
The hard part is using cutting the left side of my head since the comb is for holding with left hand(the left side came out not so great unfortunately). I was holding it by the guard part with my right hand when working on the left side, so that will definitely take like 2/3 tries to get used to.
Need to be patient with it since the teeth are wiggly and not applied even pressure w/clipper can leave it uneven-ish fade(if it were stiff it would be easier to use). I taped off the area that starts at #2 so i wouldn't accidentally cut it shorter. It can maybe sometimes leave a soft line(depending on angle) but its easy to get rid of with scissor/shears since its not a hard line. Overall it seems to do the job, just need practice with it.
@@itzcrazy8273 cool thanks for the detailed response.
You gave him a Norris Packard haircut.😂
I just got one bc I cut my own hair, it's hard to do clipper over comb on myself. I will also use this for my son since he is only 2 and he moves alot. With this comb it will be nice to set it against his head and blend
I also hate doing clipper over comb on myself 😂, did the product help?
Facts bro sometimes I fuck up my hair 😆
I think it works only for certain length of hair. Not for my short hair.
It' s 2$ on aliexpress..
Youre meant to go around the head first and set your guideline with a #1 and then use it to blend from there. It does come with instructions ya know
I have a few questions..
How short is the bottom half of the hair ?
Are you cutting it with the clippers open or closed ?
Good video but I honestly would like to see it on 4c type hair or textured hair. It just goes to show this product wouldn't work for black hair.
Try the taper king clipper guide, comb guard. #0 - #3. I’m really intrigued with that guard.
I think it is great for new barbers
I’m a mom, looking for reviews, this is my first, I already had the blendfrend in my hands🤣 I swear I sweat when hear you say trashy 🤧🤣🤣🤣 but, I’ll work for me cuz no se nada de cortar cabelloooo🤧🤣
😂how did it go
This is more for home cuts for the kids in my eyes
Honest opinion if your not comfortable with cutting your own hair, this tool will not give u a good fade you still have to know how to blend your line.
But does this work on nappier hair? Every tutorial or video is always with ppl with straight hair
I noticed you did not comb down after blending each time. Perhaps that would change your opinion.
Of course skilled barbers wouldn't need this. I really think this is aimed at DIY hair cutting market.
That boxing that it came in cost more to produce than the comb itself.
Hmmm.... We get many hairdressers & barber posting comments here so l cannot make a fair opinion FR.
Can you try the the fading comb?
Every negative video about this product was by Barbers literally!!…. I’ve seen this used in person on 3 people and it literally works wonders… it fades nice… and if you want a skin fade… All you do is use a 1 guard clippers closed.. then a half guard to blend then your all done in less then 15 min
These barbers don't do it correctly then give a shit review. They don't establish a guide line to go all the way around
Usa amazon has these 2 combs for 20 i will be using this tool to remove bulk hair only
Cmon folks this is the 5th video from a barber that spoke negative about a 2 dollar product on Temu … it’s obvious they feel threatened by it because they’ll lose customers…. Tbh it’s the barbers fault for charging high prices nowadays
Amen!
I agree for home use only
Can you do a video using the spodify cliper
Maybe it's good to just set the tone and you can free hand clean it up.
I like it to quickly clear the hair to get the fade going, then going back into blend the line in with the clippers alone. It did save me time.
Please can you try this on afro hair. I've got 3 sons and i need to learn how to cut their hair as they need a quiet atmosphere😊
Thanks👍
You can only use right hand if you lefty it’s trash
well sure this is for home use, nothing else
For a 2 dollar product that’s on Temu seems like all barbers are threatened by it because it’s about to sabotage their livelihood and money
Its fake on temu it's not flexible
The blend friend is exact same material as temu one. 2$
Fadify 2. Review please!
Scam.
Ciao amico! Ho acquistato il pettine blend frend....volevo chiederti il pettine va appoggiato completamente alla testa? Oppure la parte superiore del pettine va staccato leggermente dalla testa? Helphhh amico!!!
It's ideal for self fading, this way you don't need to switch blade lengths
Er--bin linkshänder-geht gar nicht.oder gibt es den auch für linkshänder
I love how all of the professional barbers immediately use this thing improperly. Like the very first step in the rules, are avoided. It's like those infomercials where people don't even know how to crack an egg without getting eggshells. Lol! Flop.
WONT WORK ON ADAM OR MOSES TYPE HAIR.
Definitely pass on this.
Yeah I’m not feeling that’s comb it’s a trash for me
You're using wrong. Please watch the tutorial first and try again.
Combpal
No Sir. Easy Errors
It could have been a nice cash grab during the pandemic
Time is money but this thing is a waste of money ain’t no way a barber is using that 😂
Barbers are on a different planet. They really think what they do is up there with the skills and pricing of lawyers, engineers, surgeons. lmfao why do we have to reimburse your poor career choice ?
It's not a poor career choice.
Vere bad after seen your video i say very bad item
Obviously this product is not intended to replace a skilled barber that will give you a really polished look. This product is either to speed up the process and later do the barber magic or for people like me who likes to cut my child’s hair.
His right , I would get this to give myself haircut but if my barber is using this not worth my $50 plus tips lol
