The most crucial information they need to reveal to have a snowball's chance in hell of survival are release dates (or at the very least rough timeframes) for the system overhaul and Spectre. Yet, they consistently fail to even address it. I LOVED this game at launch. Now there is no one left, and I've moved on to Street Fighter 6 with Mortal Kombat on the horizon and DB FighterZ to scratch the anime itch
This is what happens when everybody and their mother wants ArcSys to make all their fighting games. Inevitably, some of them are gonna take longer than others.
The problem is, they didn‘t play on DLC in the first place. Since tehy saw the game dying, they had to announce something. The game is really fun, but sad that they didn‘t want to support it with DLC in the first place. Such a shame.
@@BeTheTv Neople just wanted Duel to pull in an even larger audience for their mmo, and it worked, but they didn't plan to give it a bigger budget or post-launch content. So this sub-division is doing their best with what little they have.
Honestly with the way you guys are going about this, you might as well scrap the season pass and just release the characters for free or you'll probably have to end up like Rumbleverse and KO City

At this point, you’d make the characters free with how badly the game has been handled. Imagine all this trouble to get Spectre out and then imagine charging 7-8 bucks per character. That’d be the final nail in the coffin of this game. Melty blood gives away free dlc characters and they’re doing fine.
ight Melty blood is a terrible comparison because FGO makes infinite money for Type Moon. But yeah, their handling of the game has been really bad and at this point charging $8 for any dlc characters is a spit in the face

Soooo their goals were trying to meet everyone's expectations but they damn well know they needed longer. They have the design but to make all the moves work and fit well into the game I'm sure take way longer to adjust. I'm not defending them because I've already moved on, but this game in a year or two might be a really good one to come back to. With GBFVR, MK1, Tekken, GGS Season 4 and SF6 I'm pretty satisfied with them doing what they need to do. Plenty of other great games to play rn.

At first the game was really good with the beta but now the game is starting to get neglected at the same time who wants to throw money on a game that is slowly starting to die. They could have reduced the price of the game for some to have access and directly swing the characters, at this rate DNF DUEL will find Rumbleverse over a cup of tea.

The way that we still don't have a date for the **first** post launch character gives me an impression similar to The Day Before in DLC form

The number of loops must be reduced, otherwise this game is doomed. Combos go from exciting to boring really fast.
