Im having trouble doing the combo #8 for vanguard and striker. For vanguard, after the third jump, you have to double hit by pressing A in xbox or X for PS. The first strike hits, but for the second, the dummy "evades" it, like is reseting the stand. For the striker, I have a problem with Mana, for the last hit Im out of mana and cant do the last ability before using the "ult". Please help meee
@@eliasdailey3911 (unfortunately) glad to see I'm not the only one struggling on this, I've completed a few trials so far, but that step is destroying me. Either I don't move at all, or I accidentally dash forward with the side special. ;-;
The main characters I'm interested in are inquisitor, hitman, and troubleshooter. But everyone looks like fun in this game so it's hard to pick who I'll focus on
It's surprising how fun each character is! I didn't expect myself to enjoy using launcher & Grappler but I'm seriously considering making them my secondary mains now!
In order to do that much damage your health bat needs to be low. Low health means a bigger MP bar. You need MP for these combos like you would need EX meter in order games. and your health needs to be below 30% to be able to do you awakening move with that flashy animation. You can't do this at the start of battle. Realistically by the time you can do this, your enemy most likely won't have 90% health left except for some special cases with a one sided battle and a major comeback.
funny thing is, if Striker is Awakened and got the opponent guard her slide kick, and the opponent has low MP (not enough for Guard Cancel), it is pretty much a win for Striker.
I can't seem to finish Grappler's seventh combo. The enemy always wakes up before I can land the charged magnumsault out of the aerial breakdown. The timing seems super tight. Any tips?
Watch the opponent's arc after aerial breakdown, the charged magnumsault should be started (i.e. press button) when they're falling down but before they reach the ground. I find about halfway down or a little closer usually works. The timing is weird but watch your opponent's arc and it will help a lot, it makes the combo pretty consistent and very satisfying.
@@mattstringfellow9353 I've been practicing it over and over for a bit this morning and can comfortably nail combo 7 now, so ty very much again. Your advice was a huge help! But I seem to have fallen into the same rut with 8. Does the height at which I use the aerial breakdown there matter at all when it comes to how fast the opponent recovers? I've been able to hit it when I break combo 8 into two halves, with the latter half starting with the aerial breakdown, but doing the whole thing I always drop it at the magnumsault again.
Wait I am confused I had to rewatch it a few times...Is Berserker trial 8 a TOD? Or is it cus his Awakening is so long you dont see what the actual damage output is?
It's not a TOD, though it does quite a bit of damage. There are more optimal combos that utilize MP conversion that myself and others are now using, that will lead to TOD on certain characters such as Swift Master & Striker
@@RBKeyz Its berserker so I can Imagine lol. He is literally a character that has everything and even considered to be quite the difficult one to play precision wise.
By the time you can usually do them, your opponent should be nearly dead anyway, or you’ve been getting kurb stomped, in which case it won’t matter anyway.
I was worried at first too, but it hasn't happened to me as of yet (I'm currently Diamond Rank Online) & the scenario for some characters TOD is hard to pull off in a real match
@@RBKeyz Dragon Knight > in-game description: has the easiest moves! > launching trials > holy sh... idk why, but my pet dragon fails to breath fire in corner uppercut loop combo
idk if it's easy, I'm just not sold on the gameplay philosophy of the game. Haven't gotten a chance to play it, but from what I've heard and seen the movement looks really "sticky" and slow, plus a lot of normals reach half or full screen. Each of these individually make me a bit hesitant to pick it up, but combined together that feels like it's definitely not up my alley. Either way, I'm gonna wait for the game to develop and for it to inevitably go on sale before I pick it up. Don't really wanna invest 50 bucks when there's so many good fighting games already out as well as sf6 right around the corner.
Who do you think has the SPICIEST looking combo in DNF Duel? Let me know!
lost warrior has them stuck on the wall like in guilty gear lol
Vanguard was continuing his combo from like the other side of the screen
*Dante from the Devil May Cry series.*
crusader has literally two different loops in his combo and bonks you over the head 4 times in a row at the end. definitely gotta be him

0:51 they knew what they were doing with the way the chain was wrapped around striker xd
Thats what im saying bruh. they knew what was happening

0:41 I fail to get a step forward so that the 1st hit punishment connects, right after the flask throw.
That is my exact same problem I have no idea how to remedy that

I mained Vanguard and Hitman during the beta but now I'm really interested in swift master
Combo 7 is a lot harder than 8 for Lost Warrior. Might be that way for some other characters to.
Can't wait to get this amazing game I pick ghostblade
That's my main too! Love the design & move set so far
With a game with easy inputs, im about to try everyone out
Huh, the striker combo damage was almost 90%
Striker does good damage anyways, and her Awakened ability is to do more normal and special attack damage across the board.

Kunoichi's #7 should be her #8. It's so much harder.
Ggs earlier I was the dragon knight
Serious Hiei dark tournament vibes at 3:46
Most definitely “Dragon of the darkness flame”
Always no energy for the last hit on striker anyone knows why?
Try using proper motion inputs. Your mp recharges faster allowing you to get it.

strker is lit Karin i found my main
She's really fun to use, I like her too! Incredibly versatile as you can make your own custom combos on the fly to suit the situation!
All very good to see but I'm not a big fan of the fact basically everyone have a comeback touch of death combo

Most characters awakened ability isn’t straight damage, and a lot of these combos are pretty finicky.
Poor striker
Ok so it isn't just me
Ranger cheating he has infinite ammo on.
