I get that with these boats like the Sonicwake 36 and BJ 42 they are built to a price point, but these small things for a little extra expense clearly makes a huge difference. Good work.
I had to leave one more comment damn wish I lived back there where you are I'm out in Cali unfortunately how great it would be especially in the video of this lake to have some awesome boat races
WoW man!! Great to see the BJ42 on the water! Great job on the upgrade, happy to see it came back to shore with its prop this time. That was a good example guys of “50 knots and no smoke yeeaaahhhh! “ Love your work mate!
Thanks brother. Yea it was a tough mod. LG strut needed a lot of work but I'd say it turned out right. Some tuning and a different prop she should haul the mail. Lol.
I tried everything including the strut and 1/4 drive shaft . To get to 70mph and beyond it’s trim tabs unfortunately at least on my BJ42 couldn’t get there any other way . Great info !
Please post the detailed strut upgrade video! I'm about to start my journey with my White BJ 42. Your awesome videos are a huge help! Youe enthusiasm is infectious and I really appreciate it. I'd like to get your logo file as I have something I'd like to do for you, with it.
Wish I could upload the strut upgrade, unfortunately I no longed have the footage.. I apologize for any inconvenience.. shoot me an email at ironcladedout@gmail.com I can give you the specs there
Mate that thing is just a monster , looks like the hard work paid off. I don't like the stock strut and cable. This is a great setup and the boat runs perfect. Nice work mate.
Thanks brother. Yea it was alot of work in the stock configuration the turn is much better, with the Rudder kicked out it wants to swing the rear of the boat out quite a bit
Putting shaft in rubber tube probably made it sound more quiet. Kind of sucks that it's "necassery" to put all the effort in the boat, but also nice to see it worked out and you really improved something. Keep up the video's.
Boat looks good and running good.I’m still trying to figure out how I’m still on my first flex shaft🤔Have not had any trouble with my Blackjack 42 other than boat flex and twist from a composite boat.Dam great job on the flat bottom strut upgrade👍❤️
Stupidity for this guy or anyone to spend extra money. The price point is on for what comes in the boat. I have had my boat for 4 months and run it almost every day sometimes all day on 8cell. All I have done was add the extra cooling line. No problems. It's all in the maintenance. This doof wants 100 likes lmfao listen towards the end I'll move the batteries further forward lol that's where you have them when you run a cat
Unfortunately I've lost the install footage it's been a while since I uploaded the video, the video just recently hit the mark for the install. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for watching
Another great video. 👌 I have a Rockstar 48 but no electric boats of this size (yet) What would be an average run time on something this big and on which batteries. Thanks.
Your videos are absolutely excellent and you're diagnostics and your tricks but tell me if I'm wrong where you doing a compromise to run against the wind who cares you want to set this thing up for the maximum speed run and if you're going with the wind that's great if you have a crosswind in either direction you're not going to get those same speeds you're going to flip the boat just curious if I'm wrong in your mind with my thinking...
In my opinion every speed run guy out there runs with the wind (car truck boat) if I were setting the. Oat up for ovals then yes I'd want to get the bow of the boat lower so she don't flip into the wind on a straight stretch, ya know. 😉
Id like to see it. I have a 17 inch cat with 120 esc and motor that came out of my pro UL 19. I KNOW ITS TOO MUCH for the boat but I'm like you can't leave anything alone. I'm having problems with the bow bouncing and too much TQ roll. Thinking about using trim tabs. Think it would help? I've lowered my strut as far as it will go raised it's far up no change moved battery all the way to the front no help. Any help would be kinda of you. Your Awesome man. Thanks for all your videos, they help out alot
36506 pole on a 17 inch boat lol. 120esc. Hahaha. That may be your problem. I'm running a 2440 and 30 a esc in mine. Catamaran/ boats like to be light more predictable. But I'd like to see that bad boy run.
@@IRONCLADRC no worries I realy injoy your videos. I have had the boat for awhile iam hopeing to use it this summer on my local lake. I had to put a esc in it because it didn't have one so I put a seaking 180amp in it. Was wonder were to start with batteries
I bought the blackjack 42 and have had noat this point I'm saving for a rescue boat is there something I'm doing wrongthing but problems the coupler comes loose everytime I run it o have had to swim for it twice
I recommend RCBB trim tab set, with some larger capacity lipos 7600 smc hcl-hp 4s twins (8s) pushed as far forward as possible to keep the bow down... oxidean marine 5016 is a good prop to prevent flipping
Pretty cool ! Don't see a thing wrong with that👍💪👍💪

Great job🤘 Based on your work someone (m2c😎) should have released an upgrade kit for blackjack42! Maybe this is a small business idea for you 😉
I wish, IRONCLAD UPGRADE PARTS, sounds good.
@@IRONCLADRC ...and of course the IC PARTS sticker 😎🤣
I would like to see that video of the strut install
Unfortunately I've lost the install footage it's been a while since I uploaded the video, the video just recently hit the mark for the install. I apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks for watching
Salut. Ce bateau nécessite absolument une modification, ou d'origine ça fonctionne sans casse ?
Dude I delt with having to thin out the strut yesterday it happens lol
Another great video. 👌

What would be an average run time on something this big and on which batteries. Thanks.
6000mah 100c zee power battery's I get about 12 min of hard running. The video was shot with 1 set of packs and I edited out maybe 3min of run time.

How many props have you tried? You can change to ride of a.boat with a prop. Octura 430 works well on my miss geico 17

What a big strut you have ironclad
It's definitely Beef cake
Just curious if you have ever messed with the genesis boat that close to this one. Thanks
No sir I've never owned a genesis sorry wish I could help
