@@jjrotogeek thanks :) I’ve spent the last 20 mins looking online haha. Do you have a recommended prop size for my boat? I have heard 60mm (2.36”) diameter but finding it very hard to get anything even close to that large!

@@jjrotogeek a little update :) I found a prop shaft, stinger (?) and rudder as well as a flex shaft setup on eBay. I also brought some trim tabs, those turning fins that go on the back of the transom too. Then brought a 78mm prop as that seemed what was suggested for my setup. Who the hell knows lol. I’m considering getting this radio too as it has a fail safe and seems cheap. Do you have any thoughts on it? It’s called an FS-GT2B controller and receiver?

Enjoy your videos. I’m building my first boats, both ZipKits. I’ve never built one and I’m over 70. Sometimes you are a little fast but it could be that I’m very slow. Thanks for all the info.

Hello I’m redoing a vee hull that has a stinger, first boat with a stinger. when I removed it I noticed the hole was drilled a few mm to the right, I read this was to help with prop walk. So my question is, if the stinger is offset and square on the transom, engine is centered in the rails, wouldn’t that mean my stuffing tube will have to be curved and have a slight S bend to meet the stinger?

Are all the zenoah engines thr same where the collet will attach to the motor? Ive seen a few different things on the market, but every video i see the collet is attached to the motor shaft. Ive seen clutches, ones with a belt pulley. And ones with just the collet. Whsts the best approach? Im not sure i want to use a clutch.

    Hello bro.
    1 doubt regarding flex shaft.
My nitro engine rotates in CCW direction.
Then what type of flexible shaft should I select.
    1)Left/Positive
    Or
    2)Right/Negative

Correction, could be standard metric or that imperial threads.
Even the zenoah uses metric bolts.
