What a beautiful place. When first built it had a prominent guest list. During WW11 it was taken over for its use of the gardens and building. It was then a girls boarding school of 15 pupils and closed in 2012 but still used as a wedding venue. The full history of this place is fascinating. The original house on this land ling before this one was built by a Frenchman and his wealthy wife. Thank you for this look inside today. 💕🇦🇺
Amazing to stumble across I would say Excellent find, Glad you were able to entre, Paintings, furniture, Interior Stunning along with the Surroundings, Thanks for the Tour Simply Gorgeous
I've recently stumbled across your channel. I live in Australia. I can't believe the abandoned places in the UK. I see some are obviously being renovated but some of those old abandoned places with everything left, including clothes, paperwork etc are so sad yet so interesting. How I would love to live in the UK and go exploring with you guys....love your work and your respect for the buildings and their contents. Cheers from Oz, Vicki.
Thank you Vicki, very kind kind! Yeah it always baffles me when we come across a place full of personal belongings, everyone has a story to tell from their time here. Hope you can get over here some day and start up the exploring 😁👍
@@VacantHaven thanks so much. I once visited my brother who lives in Western Australia and he took me to a remote area (lot's of it there) with huge trees close together. He took me into an old cottage, the dinner table was set, there were children's clothes and other clothes hanging on coathangers, a very old style babies bassinet, even an old WW 2 pilot's log book, some airforce uniforms etc. It was like the family had just walked out. My dad told me a similar story of when he was a kid living in the outback and him and some friends found an old house in the bush and the dinner table was still set with plates with dried up food on them.Very strange, but these places are few and far between in Australia and would be almost not around anymore, so many people now go 4 wheel driving and camping every weekend now out into the bush that I don't think any places would have escaped. Plus we don't have the buildings as old as you do over there. I can only dream...one day!!! cheers
Hi Alex, that was so ballsy going in there alone, it looked immaculate though, not hugely pretty on the outside but very nice on the inside. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🥰
Another beautiful house going to ruin what a shame scary going on your own my heart was beating as fast as yours was 😂 great find love the viue from the outside nice bit of filming.

The furniture just left to gather dust .I can imagine you couldn't even get furniture like that again with so much detail.everything seems so fresh beautifully laid out in such a beautifully surroundings ding only something that myself and others can simply dream about and it's just left amaziees me loved this
At least someone is making an effort to upkeep the building. Though I would imagine that it is in the process of being turned into either upscale flats or a country hotel.
Omg Alex. What a place! Well impressed too, you seem surrounded by some extremely expensive looking properties. Lucky you! Yes. Taken into yet another world. Amazing Alex. Thank you 😁💜🤗👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow 🤩 what an amazing place ... well done for creeping in and showing us some of the rooms. I would love to see more - looks in great condition - I’m guessing with all those paintings and antique furniture left in situ the owners must be around! Good on you for exploring this alone Alex - you did well! 👍👍
The way those keys looked on that piano it looks like it was used like a good rare piano was used way back, everything from the bar to the church!Be careful Alex or you'll get hooked on this type of approach, and you know better! We got to feed our habit to.🤫
What an absolute fabulous property to explore, but the very fact that it is in such good condition and has sensors everywhere tells you someone somewhere must still have an interest in holding on to it and with the power still on as well says it all.
Hello from Iowa! I've only recently started following you and I'm enjoying all your videos. I live surrounded by corn and bean fields, so all that history you have around you is fascinating to me. I'll never get to see any of it in person, so I'm glad I can see all of this through you. One question, is that a brother of yours that has been in a few of your explores? Looking forward to your next explore. Stay safe!
I enjoyed that video very much and the drone. Lovely old Jane Austin, type of place. I'm looking forward to catching up now with your new videos. 💖💖 Last six weeks have been hard. Alex do you know this place , Still and West, Bath Square, Old Portsmouth, PO1 2JL ? My youngest sister's wake will be there. My neices and nephews have rented a boat to take her ashes out to sea.😢 Just mentioning this cause Wendy, me and you are the best kind of Hampshire Hogs 😊🐷
Thank you Jackie, firstly sorry for your loss, send you my condolences. I know the Still and West well, I've eaten in there many times. The Boat ride sounds a beautiful idea, resting in the Solent. I hope the weather will be kind. My newest video will make you happy, it's an unreal mansion in mint condition, enjoy and take care Jackie 😊😊
Great find. A very interesting place, but slightly unsettling at the same time, as if it had been suddenly abandoned. I wonder what the backstory is. I'd have bricked it if I heard footsteps. Good work 👍

Amazing place but obviously not abandoned nor derelict. Looks like some renovations or repairs being finished before school is back in session. Be Careful!
Nice! A prime dust free location. It’s shocking, actually. Beautiful all around. After watching this I come to the conclusion that I live in a dump. I wish my house was ass nice as this one 🤷♂️
You could move right into this place , pity you couldn't find the kitchen I bet that looked so nice and big . I wonder if anyone lives in the other wing since it was alarmed.

I was a bit worried you were going to get caught in this place as it looks more like the residents were out for the day as opposed to it being abandoned. Only discovered your channel last week, been going through your back catalogue. Let me know if you want any music for your channel, would be happy to give you access to my catalogue for free. It's definitely had an adjoining building, but I was purely interested in this very old part which is Georgian. I will be keeping an eye on this place though 😉👍
