That was great! Musical family or just hoarders. Beautiful building tho. Shame it’s left to fall into disrepair. Nice one Alex. Done us proud again. Thanks 💜🤗
What a cracking find and not trashed by louts which makes such a change. Ah Ed trying to keep people quiet when it’s normally him making the noise. 😂🤣😂🤣 Great work Alex.
I discovered your videos a few weeks ago and have seen most now. Really enjoy them. What a fun thing to do exploring! I’m in Australia so we’re a bit short on really old buildings here, love seeing the English ones full of history though. Cheers
Absolutely loved that house guys, what a great find 😎 Bet that house was so beautiful back in the day, what a waste eh ! I love all the old stuff you find, those TVs were amazing. I've never seen a wine bottle wall 😃 I reckon looking at all that booze and music paraphernalia that this was a *big* party house 🥳 and many a good weekend was had in there. Thanks Alex, great explore, already looking forward to next week, cya then xx 🫡
12:31 Old flask would be my thinking because of the cork stopper. Thank you for the great tour Alex. With a bit of cleaning, it would be move in ready.😁 I would live here if my nearest neighbor were a few miles away then I could truly go off grid!
Such a lovely building with so much potential looks like it was an older couple .bet they had loads of joyful moments in that home .a lill bit of everything in their bet that home could tell a few stories .I wonder what happened to them bless them .just to be left such ashame
Whenever i see a vinyl record in an urbex video and i can read songntitles and artists i ALWAYS look them up and im never dissapointed! Jerome Kern-the way you look tonight....absolute classic and im happy to have it stuck in my head lol Killer explore!!!
Fascinating! The utensil that you picked up in the cutlery box was used as a table crumb pan. It comes with a little brush. Ones maid would keep the dining table cloth crumb free and clean at ones meals 😌😁
Such a lovely house with so many treasures left inside including all those wine bottles 🤣 I do hope someone is able to take on and restore the house - just needs a good sweep and clearing out! Sad it’s all been left untouched for so long but thank you for showing us round. Great video Alex 👍👍
Great place.. thank you .. the thing you thought was a dryer in the kitchen was a twin tub (wash clothes one side and spin them at the other), The "pipe" under the stairs is actually a tourist thing from Spain. You put wine in it, lift it to a great height (arms length) and try to aim into your gob, maybe that was why they had so many wine bottles, as in they spilt most of it ! ;) The silver coloured thing in the bedroom with a handle and scooped tray is a crumb tray... you sweep your crumbs off your table into the tray and then bin' em. God, I'm old !! ;) x
Your explores are the best, love them all, can't understand why such a beautiful house has been left for so long. Exterior is really nice, interior not so but keep going guys, your finds are really interesting.
Any history on these? I do enjoy watching your videos my daughter does exploring for her photography course in college! I enjoy the history on these places
All I know is they were an elderly couple, it was part of that bigger mansion at the end we saw. Sadly that owner died last year. Very hard to actually find the history other than what we find. I suspect they liked a drink 😉 Cheers for watching and good luck for your daughter 😁👍
When I saw that house and outbuildings, i thought it looked like it had been built for an estate manager back in the day. The amount of work gone into constructing an outbuilding like that, very impressive.👍 Forgot to add, the wine bottles made me chuckle, they had a bloody good time.
GEC was the General Electric Company also my initials lol. What a great find in that house and its contents. Think they must of been into wine, music and cars lol. Great video Alex thanks. GEC xxxx
Brilliant explore, got my imagination going. Some interesting stuff there. GEC was big once, General Electric Company I think. Great video, you never disappoint 💖💖
As always a great explore the clock tower outbuilding was I'm sure stunning in its day! Will never understand how these places just get left unless they were that pissed on the wine they forgot where they lived 🤣🤣
That big spoon with the flat like ng side is a pharmacy pill separator counter Well whoever owned this place was a cool person with all the music. Must've been a lively place! Fun! ❤
Well it is a real shame to see this house left empty to decay. I really think that local councils need to be allowed to take charge of properties left empty like this because otherwise they are just wasted. If people die there should be a maximum of five years allowed for lawyers to find relatives. Then the local council should be allowed to repair & use the place for the benefit of the local community. If some sort of distant relative entitled to inherit eventually turns up then they can reclaim the property by paying the cost of the repairs. But after 12 years if no-one makes a valid claim then the property should be deemed to belong to the local community. It is not perfect but better then places just being left to fall down.
Great video' guys all them bottles crazy man. But the one's at the back looked pretty neat 👍love the under ground stuff now that im interested in. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Hello only been following a few months AMAZING viewing...some one has already stated about the old Tv GEC general electric company which was founded in 1886 it then over time ended up has BEA systems but since then I think it's been sold again ....i am a great grandmother and really enjoy seeing old things from.the past items I once had 😅 my favourite the one with the hobbit house at the bottom of the garden I do hope they kept it thankyou love the videos ❤
Where did Matt get those trousers from 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 seriously good explore, what a waste of so much and so many great items. I would love the job of sifting through that lot xxx
I watch a lot of these channels like this one. I have a question. If these places are completly abandoned by the owners, who's paying the property taxes on them over all those years?
Just binge watching your videos and came across this. The wall of glass bottles may have been used for thermal insulation, water proofing and energy conservation. Building with bottles is quite an old technique. In 1905 Tom Kelly built a house in Rhyolite, Nevada (now a ghost town), using 30,000 beer bottles.
With all those bottles and newspapers today's athourity's would probably label that a molotov cocktail fire bomb factory.Drinking all that wine, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.I think that TV was General Electric Corporation,at that time they owned the field, they were U.S.based.
Well Alex just learned you got twin Ned thought you both look same brilliant I got two twin grandchildren to but not identical you both doing well on here both good looking guys to well are twins lol

Cheers for the superchat tonight Nanny glad you enjoyed!
I really hope the house itself will be saved, but as we know it's the land they want!
Hi Alex, that was pretty cool, there was a lot of old stuff in there, the best find was those old tv's. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🥰
Sad and fascinating in equal measure. Would love to see a time-lapse of how the stuff built up and the deterioration. Amazing 👍
What a cracking find and not trashed by louts which makes such a change. Ah Ed trying to keep people quiet when it’s normally him making the noise. 😂🤣😂🤣 Great work Alex.
Its so endearing yet saddening to experience a glimpse into the window of time of these lovely people. May they rest in peace.

The organ/keyboard in the cupboard is the exact same one i got for my christmas in 1973. 😊
It must have been Party Central, back in it's heyday! Great explore, once again! Thanks!

Thumbs up again. I think the silver thing with handle near tea strainer may be a dust pan for crumbs on a posh dinner table.

I think the first place is the stables & staff accommodation for the larger house. Or was at one time.
I subbed you early last year :)
Thank you and much appreciate it Blythe 😁👍👍
Never seen so many neatly arranged empty bottles of wine 😂

Mad how you find these houses
Whilst you were exploring the old cottage, didn't you come across their old living room?
GEC on the tellys up in the loft stands for General Electric corporation.
The Pigeons can watch Pigeon Street in the loft 🤣
I wonder how much would a house like this cost..
I'm curious why do they keep the bottle
Back in the day lots of people were probably hanging out here lots of partying
If you know horse boxes, you know Rice.
Gloves , mask 😷

If there is no next of kin or friends the council can apply to the courts to take it over & either sell it or do it up then sell it
