An Amazing find 😮 This place was sold at £1.6000. It is believed to be part of an estate, built in 1860’s for Alfred Lord Tennyson. If I won the lottery that would be my final resting place. Thank you for a wonderful trip. ❤
Your reactions to the Hobbit house was so fun to watch. Ed got there and went straight into telling a story 😊 absolutely hoping you all decide to go back and spend a night there. Thanks for sharing your explores with us. Watching you all from S. Dakota U.S.A.
Oh my goodness, I could watch you guys all day. I watch heaps of abandoned stuff but it’s always so serious, I absolutely love watching you guys, so comical ✌🏼💚
The house was a great explore without the hobbit house, together they make a terrific explore! Thank you so much for this one! Also Edd’s excitement over the hobbit house is the best! 😁
Bilbo and Froto Baggins would be proud of the take on their hobbit house! My favorite part of this explore! Great content guys! ❤️🇺🇸❤️💙🇬🇧❤️ #ALEX, It never gets old. I've watched it several times and it warms my heart everytime! 💜🫶🏼💜
The 'Mouseman' was Robert Thompson, a furniture maker from up north somewhere, end of the 1800s, early 1900s - carved a mouse as a trademark on a lot of his pieces (especially church work - 'poor as a church mouse'). So many people seem to assume 'Lord' is Tennyson's middle name and omit the comma in speech and in writing. Queen Victoria, in 1884, created Alfred Tennyson "Baron Tennyson, of Aldworth in the County of Sussex and of Freshwater in the Isle of Wight" - so, thereafter he was otherwise referred to as Lord Tennyson, to keep it short, or Alfred, Lord Tennyson, to keep it short but specific to the poet!
I didn't get to watch this all Sunday. But this had got to be one of my faves so far. The house was a great explore, then the shear joy of finding that amazing Hobbit house and you guys all together with your hilarious banter 😂 Thank you Alex, brilliant 👏
What an absolute treasure you discovered ❤. Wow. What I wouldn’t give to live in a location like that. The beauty. The hobbit house was just to cool, now I want one😂. Thanks for the explore guys, awesome ♥️🇨🇦
WOW!!! Double WOW! The Hobbit house was so cool. The work that went into it was just the best. The house was amazing too. I loved the quirkiness of it. As always, another awesome find. Have a great week 🍻
I have just come across your video with the hobbit little house I loved it so much what a fined. Loved it all the Hobbits house with the sound of running water over looking the pond a place to just chill magic. Thank you to you all. X
What a cool place! It really doesn't look like it would take a whole lot to fix it up. I'd live there! It looks quite new, for the most part. I love the wet bathroom. You don't find those in the US. I'm too old to buy or build another house, but if I did, I'd have a wet bathroom and even a floor drain in the the kitchen to make cleaning easy! Someone is definitely very creative and quite the woodworker! I love this so much! Thanks for sharing!!!
A magical, mystical home in the woods! How happy I am that it has an owner now. I hope they are as happy as I would have been. The little Hobbit house is a perfect playhouse for the kiddies. That attic nursery is a wonderful, thoughtful addition to the rest of this charming, amazing house. I haven't seen one thing I do not absolutely love. It has been furnished so carefully and thoughtfully! Just because the house is now owned by someone else doesn't mean that I can't copy it here in America. I know of a well-shaded glen filled with beautifully scented, waist high wildflowers and watered by a crystal clear laughing brook with a brightly pebbled bottom. It is just the perfect setting for an intriguing little house like this. Thank you for the most delightful house explore I have ever seen! I will have happy dreams tonight, wandering in my sleep through the rooms of this house, following the paths through the forest and splashing in the stream. Thank you very much, Alex and crew, for the best explore I have ever seen! Smiles all round from Tennessee!
Thank you very much for your kind comment! Really enjoyed reading that, and I'm glad you enjoyed the explore. Such a mystical place this, surrounded by nature and vistas as far as the eye can see! Cheers for watching 😁👍
This was such a treat, especially the hobbit house of course 😍 One of the best explores so far. But guys, seriously, you should have put that boat back how you found it. Needed to get that off my chest. It's about respect. Other than that, thanks for the adventure 🤍👍🤍
Someone spent a lot of time building that wee hobbit house and finding all the interesting bits n pieces to put in it. Love it and I'm sure the new owners will appreciate it as much as the people who had to leave it behind 😊 great house and land to explore
When you guys visit places like this you should always finish the video with a little chat about, if it was up for sale/auction would you each buy it and how much. Thank you
you guys are mint, the way you all get around these places and try to explain things is quite interesting, so respectful too no matter what state some of these abandond properties are in, keep it up lads im right there with you...J..
I just loved the whole place. Especially the hobbit house ❤. What a very unique person who lived there. Would have loved to have met him. Just loved your find.Very well done again 😊. Keep up the great videos 👍❤
That certainly was the best one yet , the house was great but the hobbit house was out of this world . having its own little boating pond set it apart from everything . Thank you guys , I will set this one aside to watch over and over . Stuart in Canada ..
Guys, you've really smashed it with this one, just can't get any better than this, strange and wonderful house in the most picturesque setting but that hermit house was fantastic. That was a Mexican, one-person hammock, we used to have a two person one in the 80's when we went travelling in Mexico, deciding to ditch the tent and just sleep in the hammock which is surprisingly comfortable after you get used to it. Ed was right about Mouseman Thompson who carved mice into all his Oak furniture which sells for large sums of money and is highly collectable. Anyway loved this explore and I have the utmost respect for you.❤
This is the first video I've watched but I love this place, especially the hobbit house. It just gives it a unique appearance. What an awesome explore. I LOVE IT. So has it been sold because it would be a shame big shame to let it go. It's beautiful in so many ways.
I’m new and can’t get enough of your videos! I laugh out loud so often! Love listening and watching you explore! Ps. I love the hobbit house and Eddie ❤
Have viewed many abandoned properties. Haven’t been watching you all for long. I love the banter between the team. You all make me laugh so much. This explore was the best one I have viewed ever. It will be hard to beat. Thank You!
WOW nice find...that whole place is great! Not many people have their own Hobbit house to hang out in with a pond and boat to float around! Fantastic job man!
That was fantastic! Bilbo Baggins would be jealous of that Hobbit house. Great company on that exploratory expedition. Now on to find the Secret Ring! lol!
Wow absolutely loved the Hobbit House, well spotted Alex. The house will look grand again when renovated and what a lovely quiet idyllic place to live, but the Hobbit House was something else. I'm only 4ft 11" so that'll do me grand lol. Xxx
Wow Alex what a find, brilliant explore can't believe that's been left for somewhere better amazing place, 👍 loved that video Alex definitely one of my favourites,. amazing find great video guys 👍💖 well done thanks for sharing 👍👍

Plenty more to watch. You guys are still my favorites and I can watch with the sound on and get a kick out of you guys. You really talk to each other in a way that I like and others don't do. Okay you just entered the Hobbit House so I'm gonna go pay attention 😊. I just wish we could leave comments on RUclips but I always leave a like if I don't pull my phone out to leave a comment. ❤ Hope you guys keep up the good work and keep finding incredible and interesting places and cool stuff to show us. ❤❤❤❤❤
Watching this morning on the reply. Missed last night's Live, completely slipped my mind. Anyhow, best wishes from south Wales and best of British to the lads.....
Robert (Mouseman) Thompson (7 May 1876 - 8 December 1955) designed oak furniture with a mouse carved into nearly every one. He lived and worked in Kilburn. My school, also in Yorkshire, had furniture and boards made by him.
