I hope Bernina puts out a Large clamp hoop ! I love ❤️ 💕 my medium hoop love! A good 12x8 15x8. I have the 770 Kaffe plus and so hopefully in the future Bernina will catch up with larger hoops like Brothers

Well the large square that could fit your Kaffe is the medium square regardless.

Hello Gayle, thanks for sharing your vast knowledge of all things Bernina. I would love your input about using a slippery slider under the small clamp hoop to stop scratching of the throat plate, or is there some other solution you know of.

I found your instructions very helpful and looked at the Bernina website and downloaded the firmware. I am concerned about this part.
In general, personal data and settings are automatically transferred during a firmware update. For safety reasons, it is also recommended to save data and settings on a BERNINA USB stick before the firmware update is started. If personal data and settings should be lost during a firmware update, they can be transferred to the machine again afterwards.
I don't know how to do that.

Ok. I did call Russel yesterday and he has the small hoop. He said bring my machine in and they'd install. But the 790 weighs a bunch and it's a pain to pack in the car. I'll call him again next week. Looks easy enough to install and I downloaded the firmware.@@BERNINAofNaperville
