After seeing this video my wife and I took the drive from the Berkshires to the quaint little Vermont town of Weston and the Vermont Country Store.
I absolutely love the new england part of the USA. Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It has so many mountains, deep forests, charming small towns, gothic churches, old graveyards and Christmas stuff in the snowy winter. 💜

I live in the countryside in a New England state, and own a vacation home in another neighboring New England state, because I have been AWAY on vacation in other parts of the USA and outside the country as well, and I cannot imagine living anyplace else. 🥰

I left New England almost 20 yrs ago and watching your channel gives me all kinds of emotions. Most of the time I’m not able to get through the episode, only because my heart hurts too much. You’re a talented storyteller and I absolutely love for people to see our beautiful part of the world. I look forward to the day when I’m able to move back to Vermont.

in the world. The neighborhood is loaded with beautiful old homrs, gardens and trees. We have three
world class hospitals within 20 minutes of our home. Also 9 grocery stores. At our age this is
important. Vermont and New England is my soul's home but for
the medical, the convenience Philadelphia can't be beat.

Just felt the need to thank you Kyle for allowing us into your world. I'm of a diffent generation to you (my kids are older than you) and I live way over the water in the UK. But you've inspired both my wife Christine and I to seek more of a calming influence from nature. Luckily we live in a rural setting surrounded by trees and streams.(and we've also got an old and much treasured F100 short bed), so I guess there's a connection there. So please carry on sharing your creativity with us it means a lot.
The ice-covered trees look like something out of “Whoville”! Noticed a slightly different filming style in this one - loved it!!

What a delight to hear all the birds in the early scenes--never saw one of them but imagined a Cardinal or Northern Bobwhite lurking iin the piney woods there abouts! Thanks for the renewed memories and I'm going to visit that beautiful B&B if I can find it some day!

Hi Kyle….I just found your channel last week so now I am catching up and tonight I watched this. I am an upstate New York girl that has lived a few other places like Pittsfield, Mass., Maine, and New Hampshire. I love New England. I spent 2006 to 2016 in Southern California and could not wait to get back to the beauty and seasons of the northern east coast.

Just exactly what I was hoping for! Vermont and New Hampshire at Christmas--I love the Vermont Country Store so much. My parents took my brother and I there on a visit one summer and I have ordered from it for many years. The lights and the charm of New England at Christmas are not to be forgotten. I loved the video Kyle 👍🏻. The mention of Chet Baker helping to shrink the world down to an intimate friends mutual appreciation space. I once owned theaters and played the doc “Let’s Get Lost” about Chets’ life at my Art twin. Bonus is having a friend who knew Dave Van Ronk on a personal basis. Kudos to your Dad’s musical taste. During the Christmas season I listened repeatedly to Diane Ziegler’s “Christmas In Vermont” CD. So organic and beautiful 👍🏻

I t brought back childhood memories, so sweet, of growing up in Western Oklahoma. Although I am in FL now, I was born, raised, and educated in Oklahoma, a graduate of the University of OK College of Fine Arts. Thus, I hope you can see why I enjoy and am truly touched by your beautiful, "from the heart," art. Please keep up the good work. Sunday evening in the UK and this is pure bliss
I wish our nation would have held more closely to the Jeffersonian ideal of small, agriculturally based and close-knit communities. The lifestyle you portray here is so drastically different and more appealing than the toxic environment of our large cities.

Your videos take me back to 1973. A road trip through eastern Canada and coming back through eastern US. What a magical area.
It's funny - when they went to a town a bit north after sunset I thought, "I wish they would show where they stayed. i bet it was in a nice bed and breakfast", and suddenly they did. Theis was an extra peaceful, mellow chapter.

Great video, Kyle! Loved the ice on the trees in the beginning! That was truly magical! I’ve never seen that in the Berkshires, in spite of numerous winter visits. And loved the Vermont road trip all the way up to Burlington, especially at Christmastime! So beautiful and so much fun!

My son lives in NH. I love visiting New England and hope to live there one day. My family’s ancestry in NE begins with the Mayflower, so I feel a connection to it.
The Village store looks like the general store on the 80’s movie, “ Baby Boom”. One of my fave movies.

This video feels like a warm hug to my soul or a dream I don't want to wake up from. Truly this is the coziest truest thing Ive ever watched and it feel familiar to exsactly how I felt in the country as a child.
I will never forget living in Still River Massachusetts. The trees would be completely coated in ice. A true winter wonderland
I recognized Weston immediately from the tiny thumbnail picture. We lived in Ludlow in the eighties and would see the summer stock plays every year at the Weston Playhouse and visit with our friends in the gazebo. Back then,the country store was still the original building (one small addition) with the original pot belly stove and penny candy counter.😔I think the building across the street may have been the Bowl Mill? (Hand made wooden items,1970’s and 1980’s)
We just retired and moved to Vermont! Loving the beauty of this state and all the quaint towns. We live very close to Weston ! Thanks for sharing your wonderful video and artistry. You certainly have a gift!

Ilive in the Heart of the Berkshires, spent lots of time in all of the above, and it universal. toss a dart on the map and go where ever it lands you will find the same joy you did in this video. fantastic video Thanks for sharing.
