Hey Patricia M....we are heading out with the family lat this week, any suggestions for our visit? We like to capture 'off the tourist trail' where we can 👍
Thanks for the virtual visit of the Cape. I grew up in MA and our annual summer vacation was at Cape Cod. Wonderful, life-long memories. I miss it so much. I live 1400 mi from there now 😔 and rely on memories. So happy you enjoyed it!!
Whoa! This place is so beautiful! I would love to go. You did such a great job capturing so much of it. I know you two will treasure this video for many years to come! Thanks for sharing it with us! 🤍🌊
What a beautiful vlog. It is so refreshing to see a normal vacation, with a budget, taking busses, instead of all the luxury over the top vacations I see a lot of today. I really enjoyed the vlog and didn't even skip any parts, as I normally do with many videos.
So glad you had a good time. I grew up here and I'm always blown away by the number of people who want to spend what may be their one and only vacation of the year here. By the way, we say "on Cape Cod" not "in Cape Cod". Ditto with "on Nantucket". Say that the next time you're here and they'll take you for a native!
I hadn't even thought about that but you're correct! People in MA also say we're going "down the Cape" when asked where we're going on vacation. Not "to the Cape".
This was so lovely. I was born and raised on the Cape, but had to move years ago due to various reasons including work. This video brought back so many wonderful memories of my time growing up there, thank you. So glad you had such a great time.
Hey Jenna: Your video brought back a lot of great memories as my family took many trips to the Cape, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. The Shining Sea Bike Path was for me, the highlight of the trip. Thanks for the great travelogue.

Thank you Jenna for sharing this beautiful vacation with us! I was only in Cape Cod to take the ferry to Nantucket back in the late 80s. Loved it then and you have just awaken a desire to go back and see even more! I remember in Nantucket seeing a house with a plaque saying it was the house to the founder of IBM. Some fancy houses out there!!!
Thank y’all for sharing your vacation, CapeCod and Nantucket are beautiful and you gave a lot of information on sites you and hubby enjoyed. Stunning scenery!

A gorgeous place for Obama and the other racist people, they had the army come in and remove the brown immigrants that they supported to come to America.

Thank you so much for taking us there with y’all! We went to Portland, Maine and some of surrounding area in the fall several years back and it was one of our favorite trips! Thank you, Jenna. My family has had many great memories at the Cape. I haven't been there since 1990 and my sisters and I are planning a trip next summer. Your VLOG has helped us plan out our trip. Loved all the side trips you took and thank you for the food options!
A great video tour. The coastal cottages with the wonderful flowers, wow! Gorgeous. Pizza at the beach taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean! Marvelous. Thank you for this very lovely tour.
Thanks for bringing us along, Jenna and Mike! Cape Cod looks sooo picturesque😍 I dream of visiting New England one day and cape cod, as well as Martha’s Vineyard, are at the top of my list! Also I LOVE the light, airy, coastal vibe of that Parker Beach hotel 💙
Interested to see this as someone who was born and raised on the Cape 😄 Always smarter to fly into Providence by the way. Commenting as I watch, nobska light is so beautiful. I'm glad you got to see it! You really aint got a lot out of this trip and I haven't even made it 5 minutes into the video. Last comment! Seeing my home through the eyes of someone who is coming to visit and really put a lot into getting over here and documenting how nice it is. I just really appreciate this video and it makes me appreciate my home so much
Goodness, you surely covered so much territory! Your video and description of highlights are spot on. I’m so pleased that you were able to enjoy such a wonderful trip. I absolutely loved this vlog. You were able to capture so many of things I love about the area. Please make it to the rest of New England. Your story telling is on point, clear and informative.
I live on the Cape and I feel like I do not appreciate it as much as I should! Parker’s River beach is practically my back yard and the Keltic Kitchen is our absolute favorite breakfast spot. Thank you for showing the beauty of our little oasis 💕

Hey Bad Art....we are heading out with the family lat this week, any suggestions for our visit? We like to capture 'off the tourist trail' where we can 👍
@@EverydayJourneysTV Hi guys. Not being sure what your interests might be, I checked your channel and found that you are quite adventurous. With that in mind, you may enjoy various parts along the National Seashore. Towards the end of the Cape, there is a coastline of about 50 miles of mostly undisturbed and undeveloped dunes. The best place to start is near the far end in Provincetown. Just be aware that this is a very touristy time of year, and Provincetown experiences its largest crowds this week because it's "Carnival Week". All hotels and restaurants are at full capacity and parking is very expensive. So I have a suggestion for you: If you are on Rte. 6 and just enter Provincetown, within a minute you will see cars parked off the side of the road near Snail Road. Those are hikers exploring the dunes. You may park for free (the only place in town) and hike over the great dunes. You can head out one mile towards the ocean and see breathtaking views along the way. Near the ocean you will see the "dune shacks". These are small makeshift hovels that have been occupied by artists, poets, writers over the past century -- Creative people looking for solitude. There is a lot written about them if you do some Google searches. If you decide to do this hike, take lots of water, something to snack on, and use your GPS or other electronics to find your way back to the car. I have gotten lost myself because they are wide open dunes and valleys, and not necessarily trails. Also, no public bathroom facilities there. If I think of anything else, I'll add more later. Good luck guys!
I just realized that what I described is already in this video. sorry for the repetition. So here are a couple other thing..... look for the Beech Forest also in Provincetown (free parking) and there are many miles of paved trails through beech trees and natural bogs. In Wellfleet there is a cedar swamp with a boardwalk that meanders through a swamp. Good luck avoiding the tourist crowds! Maybe try early morning for these hikes...
I loved your vlog.... as a person from Massachusetts you made this look so appealing as a vacation destination 💗🏖. A few things I would say is if you come back to go to the National Seashore in Eastham and Chatham/Chatham light. They have a great bike path too. So many places to visit in Massachusetts so you can go to Boston next time or do the Cape again In the fall! It’s breathtaking. Thank you for visiting 🏖💗😊
Hey Michelle...we are doing a drive round Massachusetts late August, any suggestions for what best to visit (we like to capture content that is not often visited by the main tourist crowd) 😃
This was such a helpful video, Jenna! My husband and I are planning an impromptu trip next month and I can't wait to try some of the places you suggested! Thanks for the video!
Welcome to Massachusetts. I live North of Mass not far from New Hampshire border. It sure looked like you were having a great time. Elin Hilderbrand is a great writer. She lives on Nantucket and writes about Nantucket. It has been on the news here about the sharks on the cape and the closing of at least one beach. Thank you for your wonderful tour.
Thank you Jenna, looks like a great trip. The food looked good too. If this was last minute trip you had a lot planned. The water the flowers so beautiful. It is on my list of places to go.
I live on the Cape as a worker bee for 40 years. I did not know about many of these fun and lovely attractions. Time to start living. Thanks for the video.
Just beautifully documented and curated for a wonderful exploration of this beautiful area. Your vlog made me feel as if I was there. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Hi, this Vlog just came up randomly on my feed and so glad it did. I just love New England and have visited different areas in the last 6 years. I agree this vlog was absolutely on point and I felt as if I was there again. It reminded me how much I enjoy the area and if I was reliving the wonderful times I had there. I am from Florida, but New England is it for me. I hope you visit Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine you would do an excellent job on the videos. Unlike other vloggers who just film themselves you actually show the scenery and yourself enjoying it. Thank you.
Beautiful informative video! I spent many many weeks of my summers on Cape Cod as a younger person. Too young and busy to really appreciate it's beauty. Over the last couple of decades the water temp has gotten much warmer which brought the seals and the sharks. Such a shame but still worth a trip because of the awe inspiring beauty and refreshing connection to nature. You captured it so well.
Great video lots of good advice. I lived the first 25 years of my life on Cape Cod Nantucket is the best place on Earth! Bring one suitcase of cloths and one suitcase of cash! Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard is more affordable. Baxters Boathouse in Hyannis is a favorite of locals for waterfront cocktails and fried clams. Lots of high rollers and yachts. I can’t wait to retire and go back home! Thanks!
Jenna and Mike - thank you so much. You helped unravel these places like never before. I am from Chicago and would spend a few days next summer visiting Cape Cod and Nantucket. God bless ! Sam
I've been in Europe the past five years and miss New England but not the winters. It is such a lovely part of the US. I grew up in VT but also lived in NH, CT, and MA. For those visiting do not overlook Martha's Vineyard as well. I love MA and all it offers. ❤
Brought a smile to my face all the traveling you did back and fore along route 28 slow traveling ,you did a good representation of the cape, l live on the cape so now it well, thanks ,great video
Well... you could be my travel agent and tour guide anytime! I loved how much you fit into your last minute trip!!! Wow. the sights, the towns, the flowers, the water.... and don't get me started on the food! Any trip that starts with tres tacos!!!! And the yummy pizzas, ice cream and mouthwatering breakfasts! I need to go pack right now!!!! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful place!
2022 is my 50th reunion from Provincetown High School (which after 82 years closed in 2013). I have lived in Boston, Manhattan & 35 years in Germany. I was born & raised in Cleveland, Ohio until I moved to the Cape at 15 first living in Truro. There just is no place on earth for me that rivals Provincetown & the Cape. This clip was amazing & I learned about that stone wall I've been unaware of all these 53 years. By the way, something good to know: the native born & raised locals (also called "townies") actually loathe the nickname "P-town", a name given, used & loved by tourists. On your next trip, keep an eye out around North Truro for signs indicating that Route 6 highway splits off into Route 6 & Route 6a, a scenic route. After suddenly coming into a clearing, the view into Provincetown from Route 6a is stunning & breath takingly beautiful. The Cape Cod & Provincetown Bay and the coastline with the Provincetown monument & water tower standing guard over the town is an unforgettable view, one I keep up on my wall no matter where I'm living. When I first arrived in 1969, it was not possible to see the Atlantic ocean & the Bay from the roads leading into town. Sand erosion has sadly made that possible. Thank you for sharing your impressions & recommendations.
I'm stopping into the the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket for a couple of days, but I am seeing that the area deserves more days than that. Hmmm. Might have to adjust the itinerary. Thanks for the informative and pleasant video! Happy travels!
Thank you so much for sharing your travel adventure with us. I'll take a pizza on the beach over a snobby, expensive hoity toity restaurant meal any day

Oh my goodness, this is basically my dream trip, so I totally teared up watching this! Haha! I'm such a dork. Looks so magical.
It does look magical out there!
I want to visit Hyannis, Martha's Vineyard, Chappaquiddick, and especially Nantucket.
I just found out about the windmill on Nantucket today. These travel videos really make me want to visit!
Jenna,
Loved your vlog so much.
I have been going to the cape for years, and yet you managed to give me so many new places to visit!!
What a great video!! You have made me want to go as soon as possible!! What a beautiful place. You did such a great job of filming all of the wonderful places to visit! Thank you so much Jenna ❤️
I was born there. Spent many summers on the Cape. I live in the south now and you brought back many memories. You did a fantastic job on this video.
Thank you so much for taking us there with y’all! We went to Portland, Maine and some of surrounding area in the fall several years back and it was one of our favorite trips! The scenery was just beautiful where you went and I don’t know which part I enjoyed most, the ocean, flowers, homes or the quaint towns!
That sounds so beautiful! And I’m the same way! The combo of all of those things just makes for such an unreal experience. Thank you so much for watching Maria 🥰💕
Welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Living here is as wonderful as visiting. Marthas Vineyard is also terrific!!!
They're just like the KKK democrats, they don't want Brown people in they're state.
BTW- I love your hat and outfits. You look very classy yet casual and comfortable. I’m very familiar with the Cape and wonder how you chose your itinerary. It was well planned.
Being a Hilderbrand fan, I LOVED coming along! Thank you for doing this. I cannot wait to see some of these pictures show up in your decorating.
Luv how cool and down to earth you are about everything... everything else is on point too.. photography, music, editing .. content... Thanx for producing and sharing !
I absolutely loved this vlog. You were able to capture so many of things I love about the area. Please make it to the rest of New England. Your story telling is on point, clear and informative.
Thanks for making my home Cape Cod look so beautiful 😍. You make me appreciate it that much more!!!
I live on the Cape and I feel like I do not appreciate it as much as I should! Parker’s River beach is practically my back yard and the Keltic Kitchen is our absolute favorite breakfast spot. Thank you for showing the beauty of our little oasis 💕
Hey Helen....as a local, would you recommend anywhere for us to go as a family? We are looking to try and capture some content away from the visitor trail. Any suggestions welcome 😃
I enjoyed sooo much your holidays and it relaxed me!!!So beautiful places in USA,i loved that hydrangeas, it's my favourite flower and the whole landscape ..it was so inspiring!!! Thanks for taking us along with you, Jenna.
I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! Thank you so much for watching and for the kind words. Hope you have a great week! 🥰
Brought back so many memories. Every single year growing up this was our summer vacation
That sounds so special 💕 Thank you for watching Michele!
One of my favorite places. Growing up spending many summer vacations at my grandmother's cottage.
Yayyy...love this tour. This video is so timely. Traveling from Canada to Vermont for a week and then we will head over to Maine and we spoke of possibly going over to Nantucket. A few years back we went to Martha's vineyard and we just loved it. Thank you so much for the beautiful tour!! It gives me some great ideas. Thanks again Jenna!!
🐋🌼🤗🌺🍹🛳🌞
That sounds like it’s going to be a blast! I hope you have a lovely time whatever you end up doing. Thank you so much for watching , Lin! 💕💕💕
Thanks Jenna for sharing these beautiful places . Makes me want to go there !!!
Thank you so much for watching Carole! I hope you get to visit one day! 💕💕💕
Thanks guys! I must say, it was crazy to me that you were on the Cape and you ate so much PIZZA! The Cape and Islands are all about seafood - I hope next time you can sample the really good stuff harvested fresh from the Atlantic!!
Her and Mike don't eat seafood she said.
I love seafood and would love to try the lobster rolls!
Wow, you are a wonderful tour guide! The area was breathtaking.
Thank you so much for watching, Sharon! 💕🥰
That was excellent❣️Thank you so much for sharing! I haven't been to the Cape since I was a teenager and I've never been to Nantucket although I've read almost all of Elin Hildebrand's books and other authors that set their stories on the island.
Thank you Jenna for taking us along on your vacation, it looked like a beautiful place to visit... I am going to try to go next year for sure! I didn't even expect a vacation video, but I am happy you took us along! I recently came across your channel a few weeks ago and I just want you to know that I really love your decorating style. 😊
What a FABULOUS video Jenna n totally your style even on vacation, rustic beach w/ country cottage is totally you! Thank u for sharing your vacation/ getaway w/ us! Makes me want to check this place out as well! Fried dough tastes awesome dipped in homemade maple syrup, while it’s warm yum 😋 Thank u, SUCH GREAT PICS, u did A LOT OF COOL STUFF, enjoy your summer! 😎❤️🎁💕⭐️
It’s so cool to see the tourist’s perspective of the Cape. Really made home feel beautiful💕
As always Jenna thank you so much for all your videos I look forward to each and every one of them you put so much effort and it is very much appreciated 🤗❤️
This was so fun! Thank you! It’s suppose to be 103 today and I needed that beautiful scenery!💗💗💗
I live off-Cape, but only a short drive away and spend almost all my free time there.
Wow, you really hit all the highlights, and your excellent narration truly made me proud to be a native Cape Codder !
So I have a suggestion for you:
If you are on Rte.
@@Bad_Artist_ That is amazing advice thank you ever so much. We will definitely look into these suggestions 👍
Beautiful adventure. Thanks for sharing the different sites and everything you did ( a lot!) 🌺🌸
Love your travel vlogs…please do more! Such beautiful scenery. U always seem to find the most beautiful and sometimes unique sunset spots!
Your video makes me want to go visit Cape Cod!!!
Thanks for taking us with you!!!💐🍃💐🍃
Welcome to Massachusetts.
Thank you so much Pauline! I’m glad you enjoyed and hope you get to go one day! ❤️💕
WOW!what a perfect getaway!!! Thanks for taking us along!
Well... you could be my travel agent and tour guide anytime!
Thank you so much for posting this video. I love the location and so much natural beauty!! You inspired me to travel. Awesome experience
Nantucket is one of my absolute travel destinations in the US. Thanks for taking us along. You two make such a cute couple.💕
It's on my bucket list
Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are my favorite places! Your video inspires me to plan a trip for next summer! Thanks for the great tour!
I'm stopping into the the Cape, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket for a couple of days, but I am seeing that the area deserves more days than that. Hmmm. Might have to adjust the itinerary. Thanks for the informative and pleasant video! Happy travels!
Thank you for sharing your excellent itinerary! There's so much to see & do that it's overwhelming but this is a great guide.
I have never seen this part of the country!! It is GORGEOUS!!! I love love it there!! Thank you both for taking us along!🎉❤🎉
Thank you so much for sharing your travel adventure with us.
I'll take a pizza on the beach over a snobby, expensive hoity toity restaurant meal any day
Looks like it was not only beautiful but a lot of fun! Glad you got to go❣️
What a lovely video! I was there once but didn't get to see as much as you did. It is a beautiful place, and I hope to see it again. You are so professional! This video could/should be on TV!
What a fun relaxing travel vlog to watch. Jenna you did a great job. Love your photography too! Just beautiful! ❤️
