“Tragedy & Truth In Uvalde”, a poem -
Slaughter raging.
Children pleading for rescue.
Time was of the essence.
What did the officers do?
They showed little urgency.
Officer safety.
That was their highest priority.
While the gunman’s bullets flew.
They knew what they should do.
But they chose not to.
While blood flowed fast & free.
Lives lost in tragedy.
In the death rooms.
In Uvalde.
The truth the whole world can see.
And what's your opinion of our Gallant Border Officers who came in and took care of business? You think they should be defunded and the wall torn down?!?

@@lovethyneighbor1955 - You spew accusations with no basis in fact. So, you are dishonorable. I’m a lifelong Texan, former U.S. Army officer & I first used an M16 more than half a century ago. After more & more teenage boys became obsessed with M16s & M4s because of interactive war video games & some unhealthy social media & other factors, we saw that teenage boys increasingly chose AR-15s as their weapon for mass murder. Texas should have then raised the minimum age to 21 to buy long guns. That should have been done many years ago. After the 2018 Parkland massacre the Republican-run Florida legislature promptly raised the age to buy long guns to 21. If Abbott & the Republicans running the TX legislature had done the same action then the Uvalde gunman would have found it much harder to get an AR-15. The worst school massacre in Texas history, yet Abbott & the Republican-run TX legislature still refuse to take that needed action. I strongly suspect that in the not-too-distant future another TX teenage boy will legally buy an AR-15 when he turns 18 & he will go on a rampage of mass slaughter. If he finds that schools are difficult to enter he can attack at a crowded outdoor park, outdoor concert, or house of worship. You make baseless insults, showing immaturity. How old are you?

I have wondered if your long litany of mean-spirited, insulting rants since the May 24th tragedy is primarily because you are fundamentally a hateful person, or if a component of your attacks is anti-Hispanic sentiment. Considering that 20 of the 22 Uvalde dead are Hispanic (Joe Garcia being the 20th) I have wondered if part of your attacks is because of anti-Hispanic sentiment.
