Hello sorry I ask a lot of questions, so about 3 weeks ago I adopted a 2 year old Jill from someone that hasn’t mate or breed her for about a year I noticed that her vulva is really swelling and she’s really on heat and also she loss a bit of her fur in the back area when I got her. She just mated with my hob about 1,5 week ago I watched them mated for about 4 days and it looks like it’s a success her vulva is started to shrink almost to a normal state and gain a bit of weight about 50-60 grams, she’s rejecting my hob now. But her fur at the back seems loss more than before, is this because of her releasing her sex hormones? What are your thoughts thank you.
Hair loss is as a result of hormonal effects. But it's not necessarily pregnancy related. For example it can be a sign of adrenal disease. Adrenal will also cause a jill to come into season. So its worth checking with a vet.
This will depend on your relationship with your ferret mom. The more comfortable and trusting they are with you, the happier they are with you touching them. We touch them almost straight away.

Not sure why. They're perfectly capable/strong enough to cope with it. I mean sure, don't hold them all day like that, but nothings going to happen just by regular holding. They will quickly tell you it its uncomfortable.

When I had my baby I was told not to let there body just hang down???
