Great information for the beginner crafter. I have been crafting for several years and am lucky to have been able to acquire over that time the tools you recommended, some are different makers but all good. My most recent investment was the Teflon bone folder which cost me about £17 in the UK and is well worth the money. The reverse tweezers are a must. Had this advice been available when I started my crafting journey It would have saved me time and £’s buying things I didn’t really need or use much. The one item that has frustrated me the most is finding the right trimmer/guillotine. I now have the SU trimmer, Woodware trimmer, small X-cut guillotine and the new Tim Holtz /Tonic guillotine. 🇬🇧

📌 Here is one of my all time best tips (>>I sort this into in the category:
"If you ain't rich you got to be inventive and smart".)
When you first start cardmaking, you cant help but to notice the very long list of things you need. And the prices add up to a fortune in no time.
Clearly its a djungle, knowing what to get even if you are ONLY looking at The bare essential & "must haves"etc etc.
It adds up the amount very quickly...
A good Stamping tools can and is fairly expensive, (. especially as everything in the begining really gets somewhat overwhelmingly pricy).
Plus it's almost impossible knowing which one you want and need initially. So it can be difficult when you start up and its WISER to wait until you KNOW exactly what you need.
The usage of the sticky adhesive grid paper makes this a cheap, clever and very versatile trick.
For small stamps i use a normal cd case (nothing but the exterior), there i have attached a piece of the self adhesive grid "papers" so you can line it all up.
For the larger stamps i bought two very cheap pieces of plexi adding the self adhesive grid and use metal ruler to create A grid on the lid (only need to mark out the common lines." Create easy hinges on the larger stamping. Tool" by using strong tape or medical "fabric-tape" (also known as silk tape) that pharmaceutical fabric tape is tough.
This works well, easy to make and its easy to use. I still use these sometimes

I love the idea of making your own card from cardstock. What size envelope will they fit or do you also make the envelope?

I’m starting a card making business. Can anyone tell me where can I get the envelopes for the cards? Where can I get the best deal? I’ve seen a lot of videos talking about tools to make cards but nobody mentioned about the envelopes. Thanks in advance for the tip!

Is scor tape clear or a foam
My scoring tool I have came with my score board and it’s cracks/tears my paper at the edges (ends of the paper, top of score and bottom of score however you want to say it)

K W hey there. Scor tape is a clear tape. A Really really strong adhesive. Great for making boxes etc. oh no on the Scor tool. Maybe the edge is too rough?
