As always and sincere, VERY WELL said! I really liked when you mentioned to take a deep breath, (or two) and ask God to to come in! This has always been a literal saving Grace! Thank you, Dena!
Thank you for your transparency/authenticity and your godly wisdom, Dena! I always look forward to hearing what God has to teach me through your insight from the Word. God bless you and your family!
Great word Pastor Dena, and as a former teacher, I hear you about quick to speak but really needing to listen! Thanks for being so honest and transparent!❤
Such a great message!!! ❤️❤️ God help me Be Slow to anger !!! Love the way you suggested to Ask God to come in at the moment of Anger and help not to sin!!! Anger is something I struggled all my life with. I will use your method from now on...!!!
Thank you so much Bayside for these daily devotionals! As I read through the Bible from start to finish, I am logging what I learn in each chapter. When I receive these incredible devotionals, like this one from Dena, I copy and paste them into my notes for that chapter. They help me to see if my take on what I've read is in the ballpark and they also give me a fresh perspective on the chapter. Please keep up this wonderful ministry. I also appreciate that in each devotion, the book, chapter and verses are specified rather than just giving a 'thought for the day.' God's continued blessings to you Brothers and Sisters!
Are you a “woke” Christian? When you speak about listening to the voices around you this makes me think of those persecuting people for believing in the written word of God. Those who are focused on what they consider social justice. I’ve got so much to say about this. We of course must worship God in spirit and in truth. The Bible does not say anything indicating women should be second class citizens or abused by their husbands. Even the most popular women teachers of the Work with their own audiences of 200,000, 300,000, and even 1.5 million people teach obedience to the word including the scriptures about the husband’s leadership. It’s cringeworthy when you say false statements like “Jesus doesn’t want your obedience “
1 Timothy 6:11-14 New International Version Final Charge to Timothy 11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13 In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you 14 to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I need this, I’m impulsive and quick to speak, and even interrupt people speaking, God help me slow down and listen to
Thank you, Pastor Dena. I appreciate your transparency, I too understand the hold of anger. Daily surrender by God's grace 🙌🏾🙏🏾
To God be the Glory
Today’s message is so so powerful….Slow to Speak, Slow to Anger… Let the words of others resonate…
