In this workout video Meredith is guiding you through an advanced level full body workout incorporating optional ankle weights, dumbbells and/or wrist weights.
This workout also includes an energizing ab portion without having to transition to the floor as well. The ab routine is a seated workout making it easier on your lower back and movements that can cause problems when transitioning to the floor. (Knees, joints etc)
This is a longer advanced workout (45 min) so make sure you preview movements before attempting the full routine. Be sure to keep your water close by and only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause any pain or discomfort.

this is a really effective workout. With ankle weights, its no joke. This class has the right balance for a fit 67 year old who cannot jump. Glad I found you!

Great workout -- I've always worked out over the years but at 69 I just can't do the strenuous hi-impact stuff I used to do. This is challenging but easy on the joints, and thanks for keeping this 69 year old body in shape safely!

I am so glad your channel came up in my suggestion list. This workout is perfect. I have been working out for a number of years and needed something more challenging but for someone over 50. Took me some self belief to motivate myself to tackle any workout. Bit the bullet on this one even though a long one.... However, I survived, I enjoyed, I feel better for it doing it. It is hard work to motivate myself through my fatigue and tiredness of my conditions but this has reminded me it is worth just trying even if it's 5 or 10 minute video or even if I manage a part of one. You don't know what you can achieve unless you try!!

Thanks Meredith this is exactly what I've needed. I used to workout religiously in my younger days and then I discovered I had 3 tears in my shoulder. After several cortisone shots and pt I decided it was time for surgery. That was a year ago on the 14th. I'm slowly getting back to exercise and feeling 95% better and pleased with my results.

I am following your exercises. Please let me know the weight of the dumbbell that you are using.
Thank you! I am using 10lb dumbbells, but I switch it up depending on what type of workout I’m doing.
Meredith I managed to do most of this, also used light weights but bcos of my osteoarthritis in hands didn’t use too much, but still felt I did a great workout, thank you

Hi Meredith! 😊 I just subscribed to your channel. I used to do several types of exercises 4x a week, then I switched to just walking 5 days a week. My left Achilles got messed up several years ago, not sure how. Then, I wasn't able to continue walking. 😕 So now I'm trying to get an exercise routine started. I just don't know where to begin, and my Achilles is bothering me again. I came across your video and thought maybe I should try this out. It looks simple enough to ease back into exercise. 😊

Hello Meredith! Enjoying the workouts, but have a question: after this type of workout, when I lift my legs back or sideways(without weights) I have a lot of cracking in my spine. Don’t have this problem with seated workouts. Do have some sciatica pain. Should I continue with lifting my legs or just stick to core? The opinions are contradictory and I trust yours. Thank you!
